Très bon séjour

Magnifique séjour dans cette jolie maison typique . La communication était parfaite et la situation idéale Nous regrettons le manque de solution de charge pour voiture électrique sur l’île. Ce n’est pas la faute de nos hôtes mais cela a rendu notre passage sur l’île de ré difficile à gérer .

Oase der Stille - super um die Ile de Re zu entdecken.

Vielen Dank an Franck und Caroline, die das Ankommen hier ganz einfach gemacht haben. Super Informationen im Vorfeld und dann dieses schöne Haus geschmackvoll eingerichtet und so gepflegt. Die Lage in Zentrumsnähe ist perfekt und sehr ruhig. Wir haben es genossen Ausflüge in den Ort und an den Strand zu machen oder einfach nur im Garten auf den Liegen zu entspannen oder zu lesen. Unser Auto wurde kaum bewegt und wir konnten es in der Nähe kostenfrei parken. Nochmals Dank an die Gastfreundschaft. Wir können dieses kleine Paradies sehr weiterempfehlen. Laura und Sebastian

Vacances sur une île

Excellente semaine passée à La Couarde dans une maison de famille qu’on aimerait bien posséder tant elle respire le bonheur ! Balades à vélos , plage avec la petite , dégustation de glace ! Rencontre avec les ânes de l’île Petite escapade à La Rochelle et bien sûr repos , calme et grand air vivifiant Nous repartons enchantés et plein de souvenirs A bientôt de revenir L R et Anouk (la petite 🤗)

Tranquillité

Séjour très agréable , location fonctionnelle.très bien située pour faire des balades en étoile en vélo avec les enfants ce qui permet de faire des courtes distances avec les enfants très jeunes. Marché à 3mn à pieds ainsi que la plage . Pas besoin de voiture 😉,et très bon accueil de Franck et Caroline personnes bienveillantes merci encore

Nous avons passé un super séjour à La Couarde. La maison est idéalement placée pour découvrir l'île ! Le village est vraiment authentique. Nous avons apprécié y rentrer le soir. La maison est bien équipée et le jardin très agréable !

Excellent séjour à la Couarde

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette maison idéalement située dans le village et dans l'île. On est au calme tout en étant au coeur du village, à deux pas de la boulangerie, des commerces, des restaurants et de la location de vélo. La plage se trouve aussi à proximité ainsi que les pistes cyclables. Nous avons visité l'île en vélo, en découvrant des paysages magnifiques. La maison est très bien équipée et très propre. Rien ne manque. Caroline et Franck sont des hôtes exceptionnels, très sympathiques et attentionnés. Un grand merci à tous les 2 pour leur accueil.

Cette propriété est très bien placée : au milieu de l'île, au centre de la couarde, dans le centre-ville et à proximité des magasins et de la plage. Elle est originale, un ancien Chai, superbe, et elle offre tout le confort souhaité.

Charmante maison

Logement conforme à nos attentes, même mieux. La maison est agréable, le jardin est très sympa. Située dans le cœur de la Couarde, tout est à proximité, la plage est à 5 minutes à pieds, le marché ouvert tous les matins est à 3 minutes. Franck, le propriétaire des lieux est très agréable, communication au top, et d’une vraie gentillesse. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung auf Frankreichs schönster Insel

In einem schön renoviertem Haus zentral in einem pittoresken Städtchen kann man einen herrlichen Urlaub verbringen. Liebevoll umsorgt von dem Vermieter, der immer für einen da ist.

Pittoresque, calme et très confortable

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette jolie maison avec nos 3 enfants. La localisation est très centrale, le confort parfait pour toute la famille et l'accueil des propriétaires est excellent. Le jardin est très agréable et bien exposé pour permettre quelques moments au calme. La venelle est très calme. Le porche permet de ranger les vélos et une charrette sans problème. Maison très bien équipée dans l'ensemble (wifi, électroménager, literie, équipement bébé...). Nous aurons plaisir à revenir nous ressourcer dans ce lieu charmant lors d'une prochaine escapade sur l'Ile de Ré.

Excellent in so many ways

Franck really looked after us-lovely bloke. He thinks about everything - and is always contactable before/during the stay. He'll book a taxi to/from the airport - worth accepting as the bus trip appears to take some time and eat into the holiday. The taxi person Franck books also knows where to drop off/pick up - by La Cabine de Bain restaurant. The holiday in brief from our perspective: Hire/take bikes. This is a wonderful place for cycling - flat and easy unless cycling into what can be quite strong winds. St Martin - lots to see/do, Le Boix Plage - massive market, good beach, and Loix (which we found a little boring) are all within a 30-45 minute cycle ride (quicker for a strong cyclist), and the scenery is wonderful. The cycle shop Franck recommended didn't have any electric bikes - but the hire place by Carrefour did (really nice bloke in there). However, electric bike aren't usually necessary (I was fine without) and bumps up hire price. The house has everything needed. It says no shower, but there is a really good hot shower in the bath. The house is very pretty, modernised throughout - very easy to keep clean. Carrefour - turn right out of the alleyway, immediately left down Rue de La Motte then right into Rue de La Mail. There is also a really good market in a large building opposite Carrefour (except Monday I think), and most days in the town square. Eating out - loads of places to drop into on the cycle routes most specialising in oysters and other sea food. Like all of France - there are lots of places to eat in the small towns - we enjoyed St Martin around the harbour. Taking a picnic keeps the price down of course. We only ate out a couple of times - both time at La Cabine de Bain - which was excellent and very friendly. The cost rises quickly with everything beyond a main course (£20-25), but the food was wonderful, there was an amuse bouche on both occasions - we would highly recommend this place - (do - dress warm as the temperature can drop quickly in the evening (we were there in September). Practicalities: The house is down an alleyway directly opposite the entrance to La Cabine de Bain restaurant. Sunday evening - restaurants open nearer the beach - not so much in town centre The pizza place 'A la carabistoule' - avoid .... the pizzas are terrible. Back late - there is a light switch behind the dustbin. Mosquitoes - repellents etc. at Carrefour
