There’s a big screen TV and a foosball table! For sleeping, the upstairs Master has a queen bed and en suite bathroom with tiled shower. The second bedroom upstairs also features a queen size bed. The other upstairs, full bathroom is adjacent to the second bedroom and offers a shower/tub combination. Downstairs is an open layout, with 1 queen, 2 twins, and a futon/fold out sleeper sofa. There is a full downstairs bathroom with shower/tub combination.

What To Do While You’re Here

Explore Glacier National Park! In the summertime, this vacation rental is a great base for rafting, biking, hiking, and fishing with Glacier Guides and Montana Raft. The Guest House provides easy access for nordic Glacier National Park adventures in winter. It is located about 45 minutes from the chairlifts at Whitefish Mountain Resort.

About Glacier Guides Guest House

We are fully licensed by the State of Montana as a Public Accommodation. We’ve equipped the Guest House with anything you might need throughout your stay. You’ll enjoy air conditioning on the main level and radiant heat in the tile floors. The entire house is extremely well insulated. Verizon cell service is typically good at this location. There is also a landline available. Free wireless internet is available throughout the house – though keep in mind that Montana is known for its wide open spaces, not its WiFi.

Upstairs

Upstairs, you’ll find a full kitchen, a spacious dining area, a living room with two sofas and flat screen tv with satellite, and a sun room for relaxing. The kitchen has a gas range, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, blender, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, bakeware, dishes, glassware, silverware, and a huge island for cooking and entertaining.

Also upstairs are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has one queen bed with an en suite bathroom featuring a tiled shower. The second bedroom has one queen bed with a full bathroom accessed off the hall. There is a shower/tub combination in that bathroom.

Our mattresses are extremely comfortable and were built locally in Bozeman, MT. Our linens are sewn in the USA and are luxuriously soft.

Washer, dryer, ironing board, and utility sink are also located on this level.

Downstairs

Downstairs, the daylight basement is one large open area with one queen bed in a nook of its own, another nook with two twin beds, and a fold out sleeper futon in the lounge area. There is a flat screen TV with satellite, an old fashioned foosball table, and WiFi for your entertainment. Also downstairs is another full bathroom, with a shower/tub combo.

Outside

Outside, you’ll find a large patio, a balcony, and a porch. A gas grill awaits your steaks and veggie burgers. The outside area is large, with plenty of parking and room for towed units such as campers or boats. There’s lots of room for kids to run around, too.

How Close Is The House to Glacier National Park?

The location is very convenient to the main entrance to Glacier National Park, 1.5 miles away. You’ll feel removed from the hustle and bustle of town in the house’s secluded wooded setting, but you’re just a 2 minute drive from the town of West Glacier. You can safely and easily bike or walk to West Glacier, as the Guest House is located on the Gateway to Glacier Bike Path! You can also bike into the neighboring towns of Coram, Martin City, and Hungry Horse.

COVID-19 Procedures

Your comfort and peace of mind when you are our guest has always been our #1 priority. During the COVID-19 pandemic, that hasn’t changed, but we have updated a few of our procedures:
Increased cleaning of public areas, surfaces, and frequently touched areas. This includes all door handles and locks, light switches, remote controls, faucets, furniture, and other items you may use.
For your safety and ours, we will not enter the Guest House to change linens or perform other housekeeping services unless asked to do so. Of course, for those guests who are staying with us a long period of time, we will work together to find a cleaning routine that best suits you.
In between guest stays, we will spend extra time making certain that the Guest House is in top notch condition. We launder all linens, blankets, towels, and shower curtains using CDC approved settings and cleansers.
Employees will wear masks when cleaning and when social distance is not an option.
At check in, our friendly staff will greet you at our main office at Glacier Guides and Montana Raft. There is nothing to sign or fill out at check in. They will direct you to the Guest House, where the sanitized key will be waiting for you in the lock.
If you have specific questions about our enhanced sanitation procedures in light of COVID-19, we encourage you to reach out to us.

Great Location!
Nice clean property in an excellent location to GNP. Plenty of room for our group of 7. Had issues with our hot water running out which wasn’t great after long day of hiking. Also they need to spray for bugs as we had many through the house especially the bathrooms. Overall would definitely stay again!

Family Trip
We loved the property. Location was great for visiting West Glacier National Park and neighboring attractions. Cabin accommodations were perfect for our family of nine. Beds were all comfortable and there were a lot of sitting areas both inside and outside to hang out, visit, or play games. Kitchen furnishings were sufficient. Our biggest issue was not enough garbage bags or recycling space. Nine people make a lot of garbage in 5 days. A nice touch was some folding lawn chairs in the closet that we grabbed to go to the 4th of July Parade. The property management team were quick to respond to any questions and very accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend this place for a large group.

Just What We Had Hoped For
The Guest House was exactly as it was described. A comfortable, well stocked home in a beautiful location. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us. We especially liked being able to use the propane grill, and the foosball table got a lot of use. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anywone looking for a place to stay in West Glacier.

Hidden Gem
Great place to stay. All toiletries, paper towels, and toilet paper is there. There are spices and such to use for cooking. We cooked every day and it was very convenient. The owners are right down the street if you need anything. Plenty of room and great space. I would have like to see a new shower head on the showers and some of the furniture needs replaced.. It is a 10 minute stay from the West Glacier entrance so the location was very convenient. We had one of our best vacations here.

Great Guest House
Great location, just a mile and a half or so from West Glacier entrance to the park. We had 6 adult family members in our group and loved the spacious house. Kitchen area was well equipped. We also enjoyed a scenic float through Glacier Guides MT Raft. We would stay here again!!

Close to GNP. Space to spread out.
We enjoyed being fairly isolated off the main road yet a few minutes from the park. This unique home has some interesting quirks, but lots of space and nicely furnished kitchen. Home has a central air circulation system with very few operable windows and no exhaust fans. Windows in the bedrooms could use more shades to darken the rooms, especially when there is really only a few hours of darkness in the northern latitudes. Overall though really had a great time with our family of three adult couples.

We had a great time at this house. There was plenty of room, and plenty of games and stuff to do around the house. Having 3 bathrooms is a plus. The people in the office were friendly and very helpful. We'd definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Family hiking trip
Perfect base from which to explore Glacier National Park. We only had 4 in our group, but the house had plenty of room for more. We picked up groceries on the way from the airport so we could cook breakfast and dinners at the house and spend all day at the Park. Sunflower Cafe across the highway has great options to pack in for trail lunches. We loved all the windows and felt like we were already in the park while in the house. Great to have the laundry there, too to clean up before heading over to the east side of the park for the rest of our stay. I would recommend this house to anyone. visiting Glacier.

Perfect Location
The West Glacier home was the perfect location for easy and quick entry into Glacier National Park. Our group of five adults had plenty of privacy and the home had plenty of room for us to sleep comfortably and spread out. We were just minutes away from a nice local restaurant. The only thing we did not like about the home was the well water. The water had a smell; making taking a shower not a pleasant experience. If you can overlook the smell of well water, this home is absolutely the perfect place to stay to easily navigate Glacier National Park.

Great Location, Great setup, great potential..
Almost everything was great! I gave this 4 stars only because the master shower had mold and the house water has an odor and foul taste. The basement layout was speculatular for our friends and family, and the location is only a few minutes from the Park entrance.

Stay at Glacier Guides Guest House Aug 12 to Aug 16 2019
Great property! The Glacier Guides staff were very helpful in answering all of our questions. There was plenty of space for 2 families (7 total). The location is super convenient for access to the west entrance of Glacier National Park (only a couple of minutes drive). If you are booking any trips with Glacier Guides Montana Raft ... the location is only a few minutes walk. One suggestion for the staff would be to have a look at the plumbing in the main bathroom. There was some rust in the water most likely from older plumbing.

Great for a family vacation!
We had a wonderful stay at the guest house-wish it could've been longer! The house was clean and comfortable. We even got to enjoy watching deer each evening from the front patio. It is a perfect house for multiple families, esp nice to have the whole downstairs for those with younger children. Great place!
