As the sweet little flat I had previously rented in the historic part of Montpellier was unavailable for my stay, Laurence, the host, suggested that I booked this one instead. I had found Laurence to be a friendly and extremely helpful host in the past and this time again I am glad I followed her recommendation and grateful for all the help she gave me to make my stay as enjoyable as possible.
As soon as I walked into this beautiful, spacious, very clean, warm and inviting flat furnished with exotic wood and leather and bathed in natural light, I knew I had made the right choice. This flat has everything you need, plenty of storage space in the bedroom and a fully equipped eat-in kitchen though I preferred to sit in the small glass conservatory or at the big table in the main living space. Laurence kindly let me use her secure basement space for my bike which was great.
As a woman travelling alone, I felt safe and cosy in this flat. Though my time there was very short, I enjoyed every minute of it.
It is such a good location with many great restaurants, bars, grocery stores and excellent transport links. The Place de la Comedie is down the road and the Polygone Centre where I bought all my organic food is also on the doorstep.
I was really pleased to find that everywhere was within easy walking distance or a short bike ride away.
So, would I stay there again? – definitely
Would I recommend it? – definitely
