Beautiful Property but Some Unexpected Things
I came to this property with a group of girls for my bachelorette, I hadn’t realized this property had a no stag rule for booking but thankfully the host allowed us to stay. The property is beautiful and it was a lovely place for me & 8 girls to spend the weekend. The listing states check in is at 3 but due to a late check out that day, their cleaners were pushed back a bit so we weren’t able to check in till 3:30. The host met us there to go over the property details and she seemed quite strict about the rules. She also made mention that if we’re on the patio late at night, female voices are very “loud and high pitched” so we need to make sure we keep it down. Going over the rules was alright but it definitely made us feel that we had to tiptoe on the property considering the host was actually staying in the suite below us, which had I known the host would be on site, I may not have booked it. We had also found most of the cutlery was still dirty with food specks, there was hair & dust in one of the bedrooms & we found mouse poop on the washroom floor. Regardless, I did have a nice weekend and the lake access & personal dock was a huge plus. But for the price of it, I didn’t like having to tiptoe and whisper around the property and with a late check in due to cleaning, I’d expect it to be in a bit better shape. I can’t say that I’d book this property again.

Lake property gem
This place was fantastic - 4 bedrooms, room for 2 families easily! Large living area and deck! Everything you need for a holiday - well-equipped kitchen, lovely views, close to wineries, close to an awesome dog park, air conditioning and laundry (if you need it). The dock is new, lots of beach to spread out on and the water was perfect! Victoria was a gracious and welcoming host - thank you, Victoria!

Very large, clean and well appointed property in the lake Country
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely home with a nice view of the lake. Lots of space for a large group or 4 couples with ample deck and patio space. Easy access to all activities in the Okanagan region.

This was a Wonderful Stay
The house was was beautiful, well kept and spacious. The homeowner Victoria was helpful and accommodating. The deck is large and has multiple sitting areas and amazing views and the lawn and garden spaces are wonderful. We had 9 people stay and there was lots of room for all of us. The lake private lake area is great with lots of seating, a small beach house and bbq. It is a bit of a trek down to it, but really so wonderful. Not easily accessible for those with mobility issues, but there is a solid staircase that takes you there. There is another rental unit below, so you do have to be aware that you do not have the place to yourself typically. We would definitely go again. Such a wonderful experience.

Lake Country Easter
Victoria met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the property. There were five adults and two children in our party and there were seven chocolate eggs left for us by the Easter bunny! The home itself is well appointed although I did point out a couple of repair items to Victoria. These were cosmetic but could get worse if left unattended. The kitchen was excellent and fully equipped but lacked a large colander for draining pasta and, as with most rental properties, the knives could have been sharper. These, however, are minor issues and the kitchen gets high marks. The weather was cold and damp so we were unable to enjoy the deck but I'm sure that in-season it's lovely. All in all a very nice property and we had an excellent stay. Thanks, Victoria!

Beautiful!
Beautiful spacious and warm home with an incredible view, tucked on a hillside above a lake. The home owner was a dream to work with, very responsive and gracious. There was a winter storm the weekend I was there, sure would like to visit in the summer to take advantage of the beautiful deck and surroundings. This home was central to SilverStar Mountain and Big White Mountain Resort, the purpose of my winter trip.

Beautiful home. Owner hard to deal with
I had inquired and booked this home in January. I have sent multiple emails to plan for my family's holiday. This trip was for my relatives who came down for my wedding from all over the world (new York, San Jose, Australia, Vietnam). It was to show them more of Canada. I ended up having to book 3 vacation properties to accommodate for 22 people that came on this trip. Initially when I had inquired I only put down 7 adults for this property. Later in the emails I did mention that there will be 5 adults and 5 children staying and if that's ok or if I needed to change this info on my end. The response came back saying it was ok to leave it. When I arrived and met Victoria, she seemed upset that all 3 vehicles came. We had to come and drop off the luggages for the 10 people who were staying and the remaining people were staying at the other rental properties. Going through the contact agreement she was arguing with me about the amount of people that were allowed to stay. On the contact it states 10 people, but she kept saying it should say 8 and that the contract is wrong. I had already sent a signed contract with copies of our driver license back in March but she said she never got it. She was also upset that I stated only 7 adults we're staying but I explained to her my previous emails about the changes. Then she tells me that she was away and someone else was responding to my emails. I'm assuming this is why she seemed disorganized and never read my emails. I had to pull up my old emails to prove everything. During our stay, she came to check on the house a few times, I'm thinking it was to make sure that we weren't sneaking people in. We ran out of propane and toilet paper the second day, and she blamed us saying it's because there's too many people in the house and that it's only made to last for 10 people. The air conditioner leaked water and we got blamed too. l had to constantly reassure her that there were only 10 people staying there. The only time everyone would meet up was during dinner around 7pm but all the visitors would be out by 10pm the latest. She did not provide us with wifi password or instructions with laundry and things like that. I had to text and ask, and everytime she would make a comment about the "hundreds" of people staying. The house is absolutely beautiful and the bedrooms were big, but the owner is very passive aggressive and made our stay very uncomfortable. We would not recommend or rent from this owner again.

Hidden gem
This was a beautiful house with a perfect hostess! We rented both the main and lower levels, which gave us loads of room both inside and out. You can tell that Victoria truly cares for this property and ensuring her guests have a good stay. Next time we will stay longer to take advantage of the beach and lake!

Perfect weekend retreat with the family!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Victoria, the host, was very friendly and even left us a nice little gift basket upon arrival. I loved the large kitchen and the great views from the balcony. The floor heating in the bathroom was a nice touch and I loved the peace of the neighbourhood. It's a little secluded but still not far from Kelowna, so it was just right for us. The campfire on the private beach on a cold night was just right! Thank you Victoria. Looking forward to next time!

I'm energetic, always working, and enjoy good company. There's not a lazy moment in my days. I love to cook, sun tan, and travel.

Why they chose this property

It's unique because it's style is not like the rest. It has a spanish feel with the arches both inside and out. The over-sized patio along the back is next to a majestic weeping willow, with amazing views of the lake and mountains beyond. A nice beach with beach house and dock adds to this already wonderful stay.

What makes this property unique

If you're coming from any big city in Canada, you'll immediately appreciate the air quality...and the sleeps are deeper. Serenity + clean air. Must try! :)
