Peaceful, nice property, good privacy and a great pool

Although the property would benefit from air con in the bedrooms and more tiling around the pool so you didn’t have to walk on the grass, it was easily big enough for the 6 adults and 4 children we went with and had good facilities. The outside area, particularly for eating, was excellent and the location has much to offer; from the local market in Tortosa through to great Roman ruins in and around Tarragona, flamingos and other wildlife in the elbre delta, a very child friendly beach in San Carlos, beautiful river and mountain walks within half an hour and the gorgeous cities of Barcelona and Valencia within 2 hours. A car is a must for this location to see it all. If travelling from the UK by ferry, the ‘more basic’ ferry is as good as the posher one (Brittany ferries) and, if you can, plan your route to include stops in San Sebastián and Burgos. Both really worth a visit. It’s a windier and longer drive via Burgos but really interesting scenery and wildlife en route.

propriétaire sympathique, accueillant et disponible. la maison est spacieuse et agréable pour partir en famille ou amis, dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de climatisation car les nuits sont très lourdes surtout à l'étage. On s'est bien amuse dans la piscine, il manque juste des balancoires pour les enfants. cependant on hésitera à louer la même si on retourne a Tortosa. Merci Mihai

Lovely villa

We spent 2 weeks in this lovely, very comfortable house 11 July 2014 to 1 August 2014. My wife, 2 daughters and their families, 11 of us in all (5 Children). Weather was hot. The swimming pool is great and a nice size and has underwater lights. The children had a great time in it. There's a lovely seating area at the back where we all enjoyed evening meals. A very relaxing villa with plenty of shade which was needed when we were there. The only thing that my wife and I (the older ones) missed was decent relaxing chairs outdoors. There are deck chairs there. WiFi was a bonus. The town of Tortosa (2 mins drive away) is very interesting and the 5 day festival was something really worth seeing. We enjoyed it and the food and stalls. Seems like everyone for miles takes part. The beach is about 25 mins drive with sandy beaches and several stoney coves which are good for snorkeling. Ampolla is lovely and we ate out there several times. I would recommend this villa and would be pleased to go back. The owners are very nice as well.

Belle maison pour deux familles

Belle maison grande et spacieuse, idéale pour deux familles avec enfants. Propriétaire sympathique. Nous avons pu bénéficier de la joie de cueillir et manger des oranges et clémentines directement du jardin. Seul petit bémol par rapport à l'annonce : la cheminée n'est pas utilisable et il n'y avait pas de wifi , MÊME SI le propriétaire nous l'avait dit, dès le premier coup de téléphone. Il devrait qd même le retirer de l'annonce (ou remettre tout çà en marche)

nous avons passé de très agréables vacances dans la jolie ville de Tortosa et grâce à notre location. La maison est très agréable:spacieuse, confortable, la piscine est grande et propre,l'eau est chaude. Rien ne manque dans la cuisine ni dans le jardin qui est bien ombragé. "maison spacieuse avec quelques soucis au niveau des salles de bains ( à rénover sérieusement ). Piscine très agréable et chaude. Un régal!!! Par contre ,prévoir ventilateurs, bombes anti moustiques, anti mouche et surtout boulequies à cause des aboiement de chiens la nuit. Cela nous a gaché en partie notre séjour. Accès à la maison difficile si vous avez un monospace."
