Vale Furado is a very quiet and peaceful place, ideal for people who like to enjoy the sea, beach and nature away from the big urban centers.
Bars, restaurants and nightlife can be found in Nazaré.
Nearby there are places you can visit, of which we recommend the Sanctuary of Fátima, the Monasteries of Alcobaça and Batalha, the natural park of the Serra de Aire and the Candeeiros, the Natural Monument of the footsteps of Dinosaurs, the Convent of Christ in Tomar, Lighthouse of Nazaré (Praia do Norte), where you can be lucky to see the largest wave in the world and enjoy the beauty of a magnificent beach.

Perfekter Urlaub
Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen. Das Haus bietet vom Erholen auf der Terrasse oder am Pool bis zur liebevollen Einrichtung alles was man braucht. Vielen Dank Diogo!

Das Objekt liegt nahe an der Küste und dem Strand. letzterer ist leider nur über einen steilen Anstieg, der nur teilweise ausgebaut ist, zu erreichen. Dafür kann man das Haus nahezu in vollen Zügen genießen. Für den Pizza/Brotbackofen fehlte leider die Verschlussklappe und für den Kamin das notwendige Kleinholz, um das zur Verfügung gestellte Holz auch tatsächlich nutzen zu können. Als wir das Haus buchten, gab es den Pool noch nicht. Mit einer Abdeckung könnte er früher und Länger genutzt werden. Ansonsten hat es uns an fast nichts gefehlt. 4 Wochen waren aber doch etwas lang. Uns fehlte abends eine fußläufige Mögichkeit, den Abend ausklingen zu lassen.Nun, dadurch haben wir sehr viel von Portugal gesehen, ob es die Storchenpopulationen oder die Korkeichen waren, die tollen Essen in den entfernteren Regionen. Daran werden wir auf jeden Fall lange denken. Gestört hat uns, dass an den warmen Tagen hunderte von Autos kreuz und quer vor dem Abgang zum Strand parkten.

Uma semana descansada
A casa agrada com a sua simplicidade, a vista para o mar é linda. A fogueira ajudou a aguentar estas noites de Outubro, já um pouco frescas. O lugar é maravilhoso para quem quiser passar uns dias descansados. A praia foi quase só nossa ☀️☀️☀️. Obrigada pelo acolhimento, se possível havemos de voltar.

Hiper tranquilo
Gostei imenso da casa, espaços interiores amplos e limpos, bem equipada, os espaços exteriores de jardim e terraços são realmente maravilhosos, só faltava mesmo uma piscina. As vistas de mar e a proximidade a praia complementam bem a casa. Gostei muito da experiência e é para voltar.

Maison agréable et superbe emplacement
Nous sommes arrivés un soir, après minuit. Le propriétaire nous a attendus et nous a accueillis avec énormément d’amabilité malgré l’heure indue. Une bouteille de Porto et des fruits nous attendaient sur la table. Le propriétaire est resté disponible pour toute question pendant le séjour. La maison est grande, agréable, d’une propreté impressionnante, notamment la literie et le linge de toilette. Elle se situe en haut d’une falaise qu’il faut descendre pour accéder à la plage. Cette plage - surveillée - est propre, il y a des pêcheurs le matin et le soir et des ramasseurs de moules. Mais attention, il est très difficile de s’y baigner vraiment : l’eau est glacée (certains y vont en combinaison) et les courants très forts. En revanche il y fait très bon flâner et on peut marcher le long de la côte sur une bonne distance. Autour, il y a un très bon petit resto, le Mad, un peu cher mais bon (paiement cash uniquement). Sinon il faut aller un peu plus loin à Sao Pedro de Moel (belle plage aussi) où il y a plusieurs bons restos. Côté courses je recommande d’aller à Continente plutôt qu’Intermarché (plus de choix). Côté visites culturelles pas trop loin, il y a plusieurs monastères (Alcobaça, Batalha (magnifique)), couvents (Tomar, un peu plus loin dans les terres), villes fortifiées (Óbidos magnifique - attention c’est Óbidos avec un accent, il y en a un autre sans accent qui n’a rien à voir). Et plus loin, Sintra et Coimbra. Nous avons passé un très beau séjour.

Très belle maison avec grand jardin et vue sur l’ocean.
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, au calme. La maison est grande avec une déco sympa, un grand jardin et une vue magique sur l’océan. Petit choc à l’arrivée parce que les arbres alentours ont brûlé il y a 2 ans, mais cela reste très beau et les travaux sont en cours pour replanter. Belle plage préservée et surveillée (océan très agité). A refaire !

Landschaftlich reizvoll gelegen, sehr geräumiges Haus mit überdachter Terrasse
Haus mit großer überdachter Terrasse und sehr viel Platz drumherum, großem, terrassierten Garten, Schaukel und beschattetem Sitzplatz mit Blick aufs Meer. Innen sehr sauber, mit allem Notwendigem versehen, zwei Bäder, drei Schlafzimmer mit 140/160 großen Boxspringbetten. Kurzer Weg zu landschaftlich reizvollem Strand, ein Restaurant und Cafe in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Ein Haus, das dich empfängt wie einen alten Freund.
Casa do Abel ist das leichteste Haus, das wir je im Urlaub hatten. Ein Haus ohne Chi Chi, mit allem, was du brauchst und einer neutralen, warmen Atmosphäre. Der Kamin funktioniert, Holz ist im Schuppen. Drei richtig große Schlafzimmer mit großen Doppelbetten mit durchegehender Matratze. Alle drei gleichwertig. Tolle Einbauschränke, amn bekommt wirklich alles unter. Risiege Küche und sehr schönes Wohnzimmer. Die Terrasse ist toll, man sieht das Meer die Küste nach Süden hinunter und auf der anderen Seite ploppt die Sonne geradeaus nach Westen abends ins Meer. Der Garten hat drei Ebenen und am Ende eine kleine Orangerie. Zwei Schaukeln für Kinder. Die Umgebung ist unkompliziert und nett. Zwei nette Bars / Restaurants, die beiden spice-cooks sind echt zu empfehlen. Der Strand unterhalb des Ortes ist der schönste des Küstenberichs fanden wir. Paredes und Legua in naher Umgebung sind länger für Spaziergänge. Wir hatten schlechtes Wetter und Sturm, doch in diesem Haus mit dieser Umgebung macht das nichts. Man schaut zu und ist zufrieden.

Relaxed stay in close proximity to the sea
Carlos was really very helpful and informative and a great host. The house is really nice with a big garden. You can only see parts of the ocean from the garden but that is fine, It is a 5 minute stroll to the fantastic beach. Two restaurants/bars are in close proximity that that we never tried. The next supermarked is a ~10minute drive away. The kitchen was very well equiped and the house tidy and neat. The house is relatively cold which is great during hot summer days but might be suboptimal on colder days. Overall I would recommend this place!

Calme et simplicité
Rien de tel pour une famille nombreuse que de séjourner à Vila Abel. À deux pas de l'océan, nous avons passé 8 jours tranquilles tout en visitant les sites exceptionnels de la région (Nazaré, Batahla, Tomar et Alcobaça) et Fatima aux pieds du Ciel. La maison est pratique, simple et commode. En avril, les petites flambées étaient parfaites pour réchauffer un peu la maison. Quand nous n'allions pas à la plage, les enfants avaient tout pour jouer dans le jardin et faire des cache-caches parmi les nombreux niveaux, recoins et abris de la maison. Merci aux propriétaires et vive le Portugal!!!
