Spectaculaire!

It was heavenly. We did a week long language school class and the location was perfect, the view incredible, close to everything and we would definitely come back. The owners were lovely, very helpful and they helped make our stay a wonderful experience. Plenty of room for the four of us, excellent flat. Highly recommend!

perfect base camp to discover the bassin

Arcachon and the bassin of Arcachon have a lot to offer to their visitors. The combination of a bassin ( a lake with a hole of 3 kms where the ocean comes in with its tides),the ocean with its beaches, a cape Cap Ferret and culture of growing oysters as a result is unique. People have added the little ferries to transport you and your bike to 5 locations at the bassin where you enjoy biking and walking. The appartment is the perfect base camp to discover the bassin; located at the bassin-side with its nice beaches and close to the starting point of the many ferries going around every day.The views from inside and outside with its 90 degrees balconies are fantastic. You can enter the appartment from the bassin-side and from the shopping street side. Arcachon itsself is much more than a bassin-side tourist resort. It has close relations with Bordeaux at 65 kms. The Bordelais have invested a part of their richdom and knowledge of architecturual aspects in Arcachon which benefits from a good infrastructure of villa's,houses appartments, roads and a train connection with Bordeaux which takes one hour. My wife and myself enjoyed the visit to Arcachon (June 9 - June 16) and Bordeaux very much. Amstelveen; the Netherlands.

A beautiful apartment but …

Apartment was spacious, well appointed with comfortable beds and good showers. The beautiful terrace and fantastic views over the beach and the sea, were the highlights of the property. It was a shame that there was only one toilet for the 2 bathrooms, but we knew that. The apartment was clean on arrival, EXCEPT for the kitchen: inside of the fridge, cutlery drawer, inside shelves in cupboards. My husband had to clean the fridge, and when I cleaned some shelves to put our food supply, I found items (biscuits, pasta etc..) with an expiry date of 2020-21and 22!-which you don’t expect when you pay a premium for the week. When I mentioned this issue to the owners later on that 1st day, they looked shocked, said that they could not check everything between two rentals, that they had the grandchildren around and had not had time. Jack eventually apologised, said they would take it on board for the future and that he would make a goodwill gesture at the end of the week regarding the rent. The fact that Francine did not offer to put things right was more upsetting than the state of the kitchen. On check out day, Francine did not say goodbye to us, whilst Jack was friendly and wished us well. However, when I messaged him on our return, reminding him of his words about the goodwill gesture, he chose to totally ignore me, despite messaging 3 times, explaining that I would much rather settle the matter with him that leave a poor review. Very disappointing

appartement excellent et idéalement placé centre ville, face au bassin

Accueil parfait par nos hôtes. Appartement très bien équipé et confortable. Décoration chaleureuse. Garage en sous-sol. Très grand balcon en 1er rideau et dernier étage sur le bassin et la plage. Cuisine avec tous les équipements et ustensiles.Nous avons passé un séjour agréable et reposant de fin d'année. Merci à nos hôtes.

Tout est dans le titre. Front de mer, à deux pas de la jetée Thiers. Terrasse très agréable. Conforne à l’annonce. Accueil chaleureux .

Appartement très appréciable pour plusieurs raisons

Très bel appartement, très agréable à vivre, avec une vue magnifique sur le bassin. Emplacement idéal, il est situé à proximité de tous les commerces et du marché La climatisation est très appréciable durant les grosses chaleurs et la plage est juste à côté. Très bon accueil de Francine et Jack qui ont eu la gentillesse de venir nous chercher à la gare. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et nous recommandons vivement cet appartement.

decouverte d'Arcachon et des environs

vacances reposantes avec la chance d'avoir une superbe vue sur la mer. Nous avons appréciés le grand tour en mer de la baie d' Arcachon. Les commerces à proximité étaient vraiment un plus. Les restos et cabanons évidemment.

Die Wohnung ist mit viel Geschmack und Gefühl für Details eingerichtet. Die technische Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Die Lage ist topp. Außerdem vielen Dank an Frau und Herrn Carrère. ARCACHON EN BORD DE MER

Un séjour des plus agréables dans un appartement spacieux et très bien situé, au coeur de la ville. Un emplacement idéal pour visiter cette très belle région ou bien profiter tout simplement des plaisirs du bord de mer. Propriétaires charmants et très à l'écoute de ses hôtes. Nous avons passé 7 jours avec un temps magnifique. L'appartement à tout le confort et est en effet très bien situé. 200 du mni Leclerc qui a tout ce que l'on veut, le marché à 50m, tous les magasins et la location de vélo quasiment en bas de chez soi. Le tout quand même à des prix "Arcachonais".
