40 min away from Paris (A13), 5 min away from Vernon-Giverny.
Large house of 200 sq.m in an ancient farm building with 3000 sq.m of entirely enclosed land surrounded by meadows. Creek outside the garden. No immediate neighbour. You will find large hike paths starting from the property.
It is in perfect condition and has excellent amenities.
Large living rooms, fully equipped kitchen with piano gas stove, dining area with fireplace, detached living room with Hi-Fi and DVD/video player.
4 bedrooms upstairs (1 with hand basin), 1 bathroom and 1 shower room.
2 WC.
Possibility of a bedroom on the ground floor.
Large garden planted with trees with garden furniture and barbecue.
Cleaning services are possible.

Discover Giverny, a charming blooming village and visit the wonderful garden of the Claude Monet house, the famous Impressionist painter, as well as his house. Then make a detour by the painting museum (former American museum).

You can also do a walk along the Seine to Andelys to visit the Gaillard castle, from where you will enjoy a fantastic view, then walk in the small Andelys.

Aangenaam verblijf in rustige omgeving in de schaduw van Parijs, maar dengemoderniseerde badkamer w
Wij hadden (met 9 volwassenen) een heerlijk verblijf in Blaru. Het charmante, landelijke huis en de ruime binnenplaats bood veel plekken op te relaxen, zowel in de zon als in de schaduw of binnen in de koelte. De keuken was goed geoutilleerd zodat we lekker konden koken. Parijs en de tuinen van Monet waren dichtbij, dus genoeg om te doen.

Das Objekt liegt ca. 2 km außerhalb von Blaru in einem engen Tal. Es handelt sich um ein altes Bauernhaus, die Nebengebäude gehören nicht zum Mietobjekt. Die Einrichtung des Objektes stammt aus den 1960 Jahren oder älter! Insgesamt ist das Objekt stark renovierungsbedürftig und für heutige Wohnansprüche völlig unbrauchbar.

Huge farmhouse in the French countryside
We visited in June 2024 and stayed in this house in Giverney. It was massive for what we needed but the price was great and we wanted a home outside the hustle and bustle of Paris but close enough to take day trips. Most important: the beds were super comfortable and we slept really well. Bring linens and towels or expect to pay extra for them. The house was very clean. The master bath off the kitchen has been upgraded and is very modern. The rest of the house is clean and nice but keep in mind that this is an old farmhouse. Like, 100 years old. It's clearly been well taken care of and upgraded over the years, new furniture and whatnot. They still keep sheep in the small pasture next door. There's an old barn which we didn't have time to explore, nor did we do any hiking nearby like we intended (too many things going on!) It's a super nice, a very cool house! One day while we were there we took the train into Paris. The train station is about 10 minutes away. The train was very crowded both directions so get a 1st class ticket if you want to sit for the hour ride. Antoinette, the landlady, grew up in the house and is VERY nice. We hit it off with her and invited her to dinner one night on our trip. We met up closer to where she lives in Rouen. She spent an hour showing us the town and churches (which are magnificent!) and we had a wonderful dinner at a brasserie there. She speaks good English and was a delight to get to know her. We highly recommend this home!

Maison de famille à l'ancienne où nous avons passé un super séjour. Il y avait tout ce qu'il faut ! Elle est au calme, bien entretenue et les exterieurs sont sécurisés pour les plus petits. Tout le monde, adultes comme enfants, a passé un super séjour. La communication avec Antoinette s'est super bien passée et nous avons grandement apprécié sa confiance. Nous recommandons !

Autentisk gammel fransk landhus
Meget skønt gammelt fransk landhus i meget idylliske omgivelser. Venlig og personlig modtagelse af ejer. Rent og pænt og meget stort hus. Skønt køligt indendørs, ej brug for ventilation selvom vejret var meget varmt. 2 helt nye badeværelser. Dog lugtede stuen af fugt/jordslåede, men vi opholdt os udenfor. Dejligt stort køkken, med opvaskemaskine og vaskemaskine Eneste minus var udendørs arealer. Det ville være et kæmpe løft om man investere i havemøbler det ikke var lavet af plastik og at der blev plantet eller arrangeret skygge områder. Gøre det mere lukrativt. Nærmeste naboer er en flok får hvilket bare gjorde oplevelsen endnu bedre.

wonderful idyllic location in farm country
Near Giverny and very peaceful. We did a 4 day meditation retreat then visited nearby sights. Only ten minutes from town. Antoinette was friendly and accommodating in allowing us to enjoy their huge farmhouse. This was clearly a family farm, and the sheep greet you coming home. You can feel the history of the area.

We spent with our three kids lovely ten days at this family property. It's situated between Paris and Rouen. You have plenty of place, nature, deers, sheep and rabbits. Great place to relax and there are many trips possible (Paris, Rouen, Giverny, etc.). The owner Antoinette is lovely and always within reach (she does not live at the property). The house is clean and the sleeping rooms are all renovated (the living room is a bit stuffy, but it doesn't bother us much). The kitchen is fully equipped. We enjoyed our stay!

Ideaal voor familiale bijeenkomst met kinderen
Zeer ruime woning met grote afgesloten tuin, in een rustige en groene omgeving. Onze kinderen konden hier probleemloos buiten spelen. Wij waren hier met 5 volwassenen en 3 kinderen. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig en de eigenares is zeer begaan met ons welzijn en altijd bereikbaar.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The host family was great. The house was comfortable and in a great location for spending time with friends and family or for quirky time. Easy access to many interesting areas including into Paris. Walking trails nearby. Recommended for families or groups of friends.

Belle propriété au calme avec grand jardin
Nous avons passé un très bon week end avec mes amis dans cette belle propriété avec un grand jardin. Tout le nécessaire est présent dans la maison. Nous avons même pu faire un barbecue. Nous sommes allés visiter la maison et les jardins de Claude Monet à Giverny qui n’est qu’à 15/20 min en voiture. Je recommande cette maison !!

Excellente maison loin de la ville bien au calme entourée de champs et forêt, tout le confort et pas loin des promenades et de Giverny :) pour visiter http://fondation-monet.com/ Un bon accueil de nos proprietaires. attention toutefois au téléphone (GSM) qui ne capte pas mais le wifi est présent dans la maison.

Merveilleux endroit de repos, on ne s'occupe qu'à respirer, folatrer dans une immensité de verdure,
Maison accueillante, chaleureuse, on a l'impression de revenir sur les lieux de son enfance. On y prend ses repas autour de la grande table, le feu crépite dans la cheminée, la cuisine est spacieuse propre et fonctionnelle, les chambres cosy et douillettes, les salles de bain bien chauffées comme le reste de la maison permettent d'y séjourner très confortablement aussi l'hiver. Propriétaire charmante et aussi chaleureuse que sa belle maison. Merci Antoinette !

Propriété située dans un endroit calme, près de Giverny et à 3/4 d'heure du château de Versailles. Très agréable pour se ressourcer : les portables n'ayant pas de réseau. Nous avons passé un très bon weekend avec nos enfants et notre petit fils dans cette grande maison de famille très confortable. Cuisine très bien équipée pour concevoir les repas pour 7 personnes; je tiens à souligner la disponibilité de la propriétaire pour répondre à mes différentes questions aussi bien par tel que par mail et la gentillesse de la personne qui nous a accueilli à Blaru Merci à elle deux

Trés agréable maison de campagne
Nous avons passé un excellent week end à la campagne ,en famille ,dans cette grande maison pleine de charme, entièrement meublée .La cuisine est spacieuse et très bien équipée pour concevoir les repas pour 7 personnes . je tiens à souligner la disponibilité de la propriétaire qui a toujours répondu à mes diverses questions, par mail ou par téléphone et la gentillesse de la personne qui nous a accueilli à Blaru .
