La Roque Gageac, village classified among the most 'beautiful villages of France', nestled between cliffs and river. Its 'almost Mediterranean' climate allows the development of lush vegetation! (palm trees, banana trees, oleanders ... The house is comfortable, we have looked after the decoration, the large terrace is very pleasant, the view is exceptional, at the end of the day the light is particularly beautiful and it is pleasant to stroll away from the noise The 10 x 5 meter swimming pool is equipped with a counter current swim. The outdoor kitchen will allow you to organize your meals while cooking on the plancha. To make it easier and ensure your rest, we offer you the passage of the cleaning lady every week for 2 hours. At sunrise or at the end of the day, you will admire the departure of hot air balloons from the terrace.

Amazing stay

The outside space is unbeatable it is really private and quiet the views are beautiful the pool is gorgeous and was a winner in the heat sleeps 5 comfortably

14 Days in the Dordogne

Amazing property. Perfect for a family or group. So close to the river and walks. The only thing missing was a boulangerie in walking distance. I would highly recommend.

Stunning Location and Home

Dominque’s home was perfect for our group of two couples. It was spacious with lots of different spaces to relax both inside and out. The pool area was wonderful for relaxing and watching the hot air balloons every morning and night and it was where there was a shower which we all used regularly as there were only baths in the bathrooms inside (which is handy if you have children). Dominque was super responsive before and during our stay, ensuring we had a memorable time. Thank you Dominique, you have a beautiful home which we totally recommend.

Lovely holiday home

My family very much enjoyed our stay in this beautifully quaint, perfectly located home. Our favourite things to do were relaxing by the pool. Preparing family meals at the outdoor kitchen. Walking to the bakery in the morning on the road behind the property. Admiring the idyllic views and hot air balloons. Lush garden - great for butterfly spotting! Playing chess whilst listening to the music collection. We made lovely memories. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Fantastic villa in a great location!

We spent a very enjoyable week in this property - it was a real home from home. The outdoor space is just wonderful - spacious terrace with loungers, sofa and 2 dining areas, outdoor kitchen and a truly great pool. Views across the countryside are amazing. The villa was well-equipped and had plenty of space for 5 adults. The beautiful village of La Roque-Gageac is within easy walking distance and we enjoyed kayaking on the Dordogne river, as well as having a choice of places to eat and drink locally. The owner was very helpful about the arrangements prior to our visit and responded quickly to a couple of queries we had during our stay. We would recommend this property and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

De eigenaresse komt halverwege ons verblijf op het terras een controle uitvoeren, telt de waxine lichtjes, controleert de parasols, en de ligbedden. Kijkt onder het tafelkleed op de tafel, en zet alles terug zoals zij dat wenst. Bij ons vertrek wordt de borg niet teruggegeven, met de mededeling dat ze met een vriendin , een getuige zoals zij dat noemt, een controle zal uitoefenen en na goedkeuring , zal de borg dan later teruggestort worden. En dat duurt wel even. Mevr slaapt ook de 1 e en laatste nacht van ons verblijf onder in het huis, dit voelt onvrij evenals de controle. Verder is er geen airconditioning, alleen een lucht bevochtiger in de zolderkamer. Er zijn 2 handdouches, douchen in het bad, onder een zeer schuin dak, niet geschikt voor iemand met rugklachten of op leeftijd. Verder een mooi huis met mooi uitzicht.

Excellent House and Pool

We had a marvellous time at the house during July. The weather was hot which made the superb pool even more welcome! The check-in process was so slick and easy with everything explained in every detail. The house itself is furnished with impeccable taste and has lovely, large living areas and bedrooms, the kitchen was very well equipped. The outside areas are just what you need for lounging about and also for a spot of lunch/dinner on the terrace - lots of areas to choose where to eat outside, surrounded by the lovely, well kept gardens. The pool is big and was great for cooling off. Restaurants and shops are a short stroll away. We will definitely be going back!!

Maison très agréable, idéalement située

Idéalement située légèrement en périphérie de La Roque Gageac, dans une région magnifique. Agréablement reçue par la charmante propriétaire des lieux. Une maison, très bien équipée où l'on se sent à l'aise très rapidement, agréable à vivre (même à 9) . La vue avec les montgolfières au moment du petit déjeuner ou de l'apéritif est un enchantement. Juste un étonnement en revenant sur le site abritel : le prix de la location a baissé après notre séjour, tant mieux pour ceux qui nous suivront.

Une excellente adresse!

C'est la deuxième fois que nous louons cette maison, qui présente de si nombreuses qualités: charme de la décoration, localisation à l'orée du village de la Roque Gageac, vue superbe de la terrasse sur laquelle est située la piscine. La région est riche de possibilités de visites et d'activités pour grands et petits. La propriétaire des lieux est très attentive aux détails et se coupe en quatre pour faire de votre séjour un moment très agréable. Maison que nous conseillons sans hésiter!

superbe maison avec une terrasse magnifique.Les chambres sont grandes et joliment decorées. La cuisine d'ete avec la plancha est tres pratique .Le point de vue est superbe et la region est a decouvrir :plein de choses a faire et a visiter pour tous les ages. La proprietaire des lieux est tres accueillante avec plein de petites attention .Je conseille vivement cette adresse j'y retournerais volontier!!!
