THE ROOKERY UNIT 1101 –
Relax on beautiful Fort Morgan Peninsula in Gulf Shores, AL. This cottage is located in THE ROOKERY Community, 15 miles west of Gulf Shores just past the 6-mile marker. Your designated parking is right in front of the cottage, and there are no elevators to carry your things up, or no long hallways.

Enjoy sitting on the screened in porch and listen to nature at its finest. The cottage offers keyless entry, WiFi, and an open floor plan. The living area features a sleeper sofa, 2 arm-chairs, and a 50” Television. The kitchen is well equipped with cookware, utensils and appliances. The dining area is centrally located in the heart of this cottage with seating for 6 at table and 3 bar stools at the island, offering you the perfect space to spend time with each member of your group.

The primary bedroom offers Queen bedding, a 50" television and private bathroom with tub/shower combination. Bedroom 2 features Queen bedding, shiplap walls, reading lights over the bed, & also a television. Bedroom 3 offers a Queen bed, television, and a chest with armoire for storing your personal belongings out of sight. Both guest bedrooms share a full bathroom with tub/shower combo, single vanity, and is fully stocked with linens for your stay. You will also enjoy a full-size washer and dryer so stay up on the laundry!

There is a 120 square foot outdoor patio that includes: a grill, landscape lighting, outdoor shower, seating, and a picnic style table!

The Rookery offers two saltwater pools (the larger of the two is a zero entry for the little ones), a hot tub for the adults, a tennis court and a great family grilling area. The Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge borders the community, a real bird watcher’s paradise. Easy access to the white, sandy beach is across the street (.4 miles), no crowds, no high rises, watch for dolphins on their daily swims. Take the ferry over to Dauphin Island and visit Fort Gaines & the Sea Lab Estuary. Explore any of the three marked Bon Secour trails, all within ten minute drives. Ample parking, bring your boat, the marina is only 4 miles away.

*AGE: There is a strict minimum age requirement of 25 to book this property! A copy of your Photo I.D. will be required at the time of booking.

*COMPLEX AMENITIES: Two Saltwater Pools (the larger of the two is a zero entry for the little ones), Hot Tub for the adults, Tennis Court, Family Grilling Area

PARKING: The Rookery offers onsite parking for up 2 vehicles and parking passes are required. One pass is automatically added to the booking for a fee of $25 plus tax. If you need to purchase a 2nd pass ($25 + tax), you will need to contact our office at least 48 hours prior to arrival and arrange a payment method. There is designated boat/ trailer parking however, they are only allowed in the designated area and must have owner contact info visible.

*PETS: This is NOT a pet friendly property. Any evidence of a pet being on site may result in fines or possible eviction.

*SMOKING: No smoking is allowed inside or on the porch of this property. Any evidence of smoking will result in fines, or possible eviction.

*MONTHLY RENTALS: This property is available for monthly rentals during non-peak seasons. Please call or email our office for monthly rates.

*CANCELLATION: Cancellation must be more than 30 days prior to arrival date and submitted in writing directly to our office email, . Please refer to your Rental Agreement to review full office policy.
