Chilled out holiday
Like a home from home, great accommodation, no frills, functional, clean and tidy with everything you could need. We’ve been going to Cabanas for many years, this was one of our best accommodations. Cabanas is a great place, not commercialised, plenty of good places to eat and a great beach.

There was lots of space to spread out with three terraces and choices of 4 pools and we appreciated the 3 bathrooms. Not too far to walk to station or beach ferry.

SURPRESA POSITIVA
Excedeu as espectativas, pois as fotos do anúncio não revelam todo o potencial da casa. Apreciámos a simpatia, tanto da D. Paula (proprietária), como da D. Ana (colaboradora), que sempre estiveram disponíveis para atender aos nossos pedidos. Sentimos a falta do ar condicionado no piso superior (pelas fotos não percebemos que a casa tem 2 pisos) e também de caixas de lixo apropriadas nos wcs e reportámos essas falhas à D. Ana. Quanto à localização, também não temos razão de queixa, pois a casa está a 10/15 min. a pé, de tudo o que precisamos, inclusive do local onde se apanha o barco para a óptima praia de Cabanas (3 min. a travessia e o bilhete 1,5€, ida e volta). Excelente estadia, que poderá ser repetida quando programar outras férias com a família.

2 Semanas em Cabanas de Tavira
Boa experiência em Cabanas. Grande apartamento duplex embora aparentemente "invertido", quartos no piso inferior e sala e cozinha no superior. Espaçoso e com as devidas comodidades. 3 terraços e boa piscina. Como proposta de melhoria a existência de AC no piso superior e não só na zona dos quartos.

Nice apartment in cute little coastal town
We had a great time in Cabanas de Tavira. Stayed for 25 days with three kids 0-7 years old. The apartment was spacious, with good facilities! A couple of times, we could have had use for a vacuum cleaner, but apart from that we had all the things we needed. We used the pool area many days, and went to the beach often. It was quite calm in April and beginning of May, which was nice. We rented bikes and car for a few days, so we could see more of Algarve. Cacela Velha (and of course Tavira) was a nice bike trip, and we went to nice places like Monchique and Loulé by car.

A great place to stay for a family
We really had a great time at Paula's apartment at Cabanas de Tavira. The apartment is really spacious and was very clean. As a bonus the outdoor terrace areas really increase the amount of living space. The pool was great for the kids. Paula's level of communication during the booking and payment process was really good.

Just perfect
We loved this apartment for the location, the space and the cleanliness. I was rather worried as we stayed at a different apartment in the same street last year (owned by a different person) and that place was horrible and dirty, but I was worrying about nothing. This apartment was lovely and spacious, spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and all the linens you would need. The outside space was well furnished and there was loads of space for the 6 of us, whether we wanted to spend time together, or if we wanted a bit of space. The kitchen had plenty of crockery and pots/pans etc. There was a nespresso machine which was lovely, although sadly we couldn't find nespresso pods in cabanas, but there was also a filter coffee machine so we used that instead. The only thing that was missing was a kettle, but as there were lots of pots, we just went the old fashioned route and boiled water in a pot. The check in and check out was really smooth with us being met at the door as when we got out of pour taxi by a very friendly lady who was lovely and helpful. All in all this place is absolutely perfect, and I am sure this will not be the last time we stay in this gorgeous apartment.

Great Apartment
Paula and Victor are very nice people. The beautiful apartment had everything we needed and the grocery store was close by for food and wine. Arrived late first night and found the Jolly Pirate about a block away for a decent dinner. Unfortunately we had chilly, rainy April weather but the heaters in the bedrooms made us very comfortable. Enjoyed listening to the Fado music cds. The apartment is well situated. Good for day trips to Huelva and Seville Spain and a day trip to the amazing beach at Alvor. The country north of the coast is also beautiful to explore. Good restaurants in Cabanas and enjoyed walking through the village and along the boardwalk. The pool looked inviting but it was too cool to jump in. Able to park the car right by the front door. Most importantly, the apartment was exactly as portrayed by the photos on the Homeaway site.

"The description and photos do not do justice to the ad. Starting with the hosts, who made us feel as we were walking into our own home....Their hospitality was incredible. They provided us with, food for a day, information adapted to our needs, recommendations on activities, places to see, etc. We were looking for tranquility and discovered a peace haven. The location was quiet, amenities were walking distance, the beach was easily accessible by boat (even on crutches). The apartment is fully equipped. Kids gave it two thumbs up and want to return! So do we."

"Gostámos imenso da casa. Fica num local muito próximo da praia (5minutos a pé) é uma zona super tranquila. Silêncio absoluto para se poder descansar durante noite e dia. As 4 piscinas disponiveis são espectaculares. A casa tem excelentes areas, muito conforto, e tem todo equipamento necessário para nos sentirmos bem e em casa. Fomos super bem recebidos pela simpática propriétária, uma pessoa extremamente amável e comunicativa. Adorámos a experiência e queremos voltar, quem sabe brevemente! Recomendamos vivamente!!!"

"A casa ainda é melhor do que parece no anúncio. As varandas são óptimas para churrascos e refeições. A praia fica a 10 minutos da casa. De carro, Tavira fica a menos de 15minutos. É um sítio a voltar!"
