Excellent apartment, amazing location!
The apartment was surprisingly spacious for us two friends staying together, when we arrived it was clean and tidy and we were so pleased with the location! The Diable lift was only 1 minute walking from the basement ski locker (careful… it’s a little dark and there’s a delay on the automatic lights. The position of the locker is very strange, the number order doesn’t make any sense!)
There is a ski hire shop under the building, but we rented from Camp d’base next door. They were very helpful.
The single bunks were comfortable and the pull out sofa bed was comfortable for me, and I’m sure a couple would find it suitable. The kitchen was good and the toilet was ok, although the room is very restricted!
On the downside, the shower / bath was disappointing. The bath is a half bath, which didn’t satisfy my need for a soak after a long day skiing and there wasn’t a place for the shower head to be secured above the bath. Also there wasn’t a shower curtain, so washing was a challenge.
The view was great when waking up in the morning and the electric blackout shutters were brilliant, as I need a dark room to sleep well!
The balcony and chair set were really useful and there was a TV too. An addition of a stereo to plug in a phone or Bluetooth connection would be welcome. The private, buzzer controlled parking was very useful and we were close to the bakery, shops and bars too.
Sadly there were a few issues with the electrical socket on the wall behind the sofa bed. It was broken and dangerously faulty.
Would stay here again for sure, but would like to see the shower / bath improved.
The building was clean, tidy and modern looking too.
