Beautiful cabin! Perfect for the whole family!

We had a great stay at this cabin. Super clean and everything stocked perfectly. We only had some issues with the wifi but that had nothing to do with the cabin or host. We will most definitely be back when the weather is warmer! Thank you!

Great location

We stayed for a long weekend with another family. The set up was great with the loft and two identical bedrooms. The location was perfect with easy access to downtown, the park and activities.

Perfect setting and place

I came for a few days to hike around the area with a friend. This cabin was perfectly located. Far enough and in the woods to feel secluded, but only 10-15 minutes to get to places to eat in town and all of the trails around Beaver Bend we wanted to hike. I will definitely look to stay in this area again, and the cabin itself was in great condition. It was a very nice place to stay. Highly recommend.

Nice little cabin

We arrived to find the back lid of a toilet on the floor and figured out the toilet handle was broken. We informed the property mgr and they fixed it the next day. The TV and Internet was also not working, so reported that too. Late the next morning the TV and Internet provider showed and fixed issue. Had to use a coax cable from one of the bedrooms to replace broken one in living room, not sure why that broken cable had not previously been reported. Never did get the bedroom TV to work,…think the remote batteries were dead, but did not use it. Owner may want to make sure property mgmt is checking those things out between guests.

Perfect Getaway

The cabin was a perfect getaway for new years! We had several deer visit us each morning while we drank our coffee. It was very rustic and charming and made us feel like we were tucked away in the mountains. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect place

We really enjoyed that there was an open field in our backyard where you could watch deer every morning and evening. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Used the hot tub everyday. Bring paper towels and dishwasher soap or paper plates. There is also a washer/dryer. Had plenty of towels and blankets. There’s tons of restaurants and things to do in hochatown. Everything you need is about 10 minutes away.

Peaceful, relaxing vacation

OkeHi was the perfect getaway for my families weekend vacation. Cabin came fully furnished with all your major needs for your stay. It's in a great location, close to all the major attractions and not far from the lake or river. Would highly recommend staying here.

Air conditioning does not work

We loved the cabin and the location for our quick lake getaway. One big issue we had was the ac did not work or is not functioning properly. We arrived on Tuesday under cloudy, rainy skies. The unit was turned on for us and set at 70. The thermostat displayed an indoor temperature of 76. That was the coolest temperature that we saw during our stay. We obeyed the sign above the thermostat and never set the cool temp to below 70. The fan was set to auto the entire time and we made it through the first night. In the morning the temperature actually rose to 78 despite running all night and morning, even under continuing rain, clouds and 75 degree temps outside.I turned the unit off to give it a break for about 2 hours, turned the unit back on with the inside temp still reading 78. As the sun came out in the afternoon, the inside temp continued to rise to 82 all while the unit was "cooling". We went to bed at 11:00 pm and sweated all night at 83. We departed at Noon on Thursday with the unit running and the inside temp still at 82. This was our first cabin experience so we were a little unsure of what would be supplied and what would not. Our only other comment was that it would be nice to know what types of hand and body soaps, cleaners and disinfectants were or were not provided, especially during virus time.

Broken bed

The bed in one of the bedroom collapesd while my parents were sleeping at night. My parents are not satisfied with this problem because they are over 60 years old; easily they can hurt their body. I’d like somone to follow up with this and contact asap. But overall besides that Im giving a good rating for this cabin and location.

Very nice cabin, met our needs

We enjoyed this quiet cabin. The location was nice and fairly isolated though close to a road (it wasn’t busy). We enjoyed having the hot tub and all of the televisions and channels for some cozy vegging in 20 degree weather. The beds were comfortable. It would have been nice to have some more blankets or comforters for such chilly nights- we did pull all of the available blankets from the cabin for the beds. Our family of six had plenty of room. We enjoyed the area and hope to come back again some time.
