About this property

This fully equipped studio is in the one of most desirable areas to live in paris . The oberkampf area. Public transportation is dense with 5 metro lines at walking distance. Around the corner you will find the popincourt market which is a very active open air market open every tuesday and friday mornings. 3 excellent bakers in the same block ( even for parisian standards it is outstanding ) and an amazing collection of restaurants and cafes nearby. a great butcher and for the convenience of all a large supermaket.
The studio consists of a main room with a fully equipped kitchen ( including a dishwasher and a combo oven) , a table for 2, a very comfortable quality hotel queen size bed ( 160*200 cm ) and a very large closet . the bathroom has a basin, a large shower, a toilet, a washer and a separate drier .
The studio lies on the back of a late XIX century buiding at the second floor ( third american ) with elevator and therefore is away from street noise. you can sleep with windows open .

The apartment comes free WI-Fi and free cable TV and you wont need to pack a multi outlet power bar since there are about 20 outlets at your disposal.

The all-inclusive rental fee covers quality linens and towels.

The location is very convenient to tour Paris. It is a walking distance (less than five minutes) to Le Marais, Bastille square and Republique square. You can then access metro hubs easily ( Republique and Bastille ) and go just eveywhere in paris directly without changing lines. And you are only 15 minutes walking to the very center of Paris, chatelet.

Please be aware of the contractual 40 euro for any check in before 1200pm and after 900pm. If the apartment is not rented the night before the 40 euro applies in all cases. If the apartment is rented the night before we do not charge the early check in, we can check you in starting 1000am, keep your luggage but ask you to leave the apartment until the cleaning is finished i.e., around 1200pm.

Quiet & Comfortable | Quartier Saint Amboise

Lovely modernised studio apartment with AC in a quiet area within the 11th arrondissement. Close to numerous bistros & amenities. Easy access to metro lines 3,5, & 9. Great shower with washing machine & dryer. Elevator access to the 2nd floor apartment. Only negative, it would have been great to have some tea bags & milk in the fridge after a direct 23 hour flight from Australia !

Great comfortable & well-equipped studio, lots of light, in fabulous part of Paris

I stayed four nights here and had a great time. It's a decent size by Paris studio standards, with lots of light from those two big French doors, looking out over a quiet courtyard, with trees and sky in view. It's been recently renovated, and they did a good job, with marble finishes, a kitchen with all you'd need to cook for a short stay (fridge, two hotplates, all the tableware and cooking things you'd need - sure it's a microwave not a conventional oven, but who's cooking a roast or a cake in a Paris studio on holiday?) Good bathroom, good shower (I would move the curtain to give more room in the recess) and good quality new washing machine & dryer. One reviewer said noisy... really? It's so quiet, it faces away from the street. Sure there's a bit of creaky stair sound at times, but I never heard any loud neighbour noise and certainly none late at night. If you live in the city it's what you'll be used to. And such a great neighbourhood! Rue Oberkampf is lined with local bakeries, deli, butchers, there are bars from old school local where men drink brandy with their morning coffee, to cool hipster places with north African menus prepared by a Moroccan chef. A strip of late night bars and clubs two streets over in J P Timbaud, and up to Belleville, very multicultural, lots of Asian and north African businesses and restaurants. Not far to Plaza Republique, you can walk all the way along Canals St Denis et St Martin to the gorgeous Parc de la Villette. And going the other way towards Le Marais and the centre and the big tourist draws, it's very close, walkable or just a few stops on the metro. If you arrive on a train at Gare du Nord it's 10 minutes by metro or under 10€ by uber. Communication with Olivier was quick and clear. I was on a Eurostar train, arrived late, and by keeping in touch with him re revised ETA, Sal met me on arrival. Olivier was happy to accommodate a late checkout once it was clear there wasn't a guest checking in that day. It's not cheap, but housing in Paris is expensive. If you want to be comfortable and are prepared to pay for it, this is a great option.

Lovely, compact Parisian apartment.

This lovely little bedsit apartment had everything one could want for a short stay in Paris. Well located with a 30 min easy walk down to the river. Best way to get places is down along the very pretty Bd. R Lenoir, which has a community use green park down the centre, then veer off on Bd Henri IV toward the river and you end up on Pont de Sully at the bottom end of Ile St-Louis. A great starting point for a river stroll. There are plenty of food and other sustenance opportunities around the apartment.

The Centre of All that is Paris

The small studio is at the centre of the lively Oberkampf area of the 11th Arrondissement. It is a quiet and peaceful space as it overlooks the inner courtyard. It is an ideal location for exploring all areas of Paris via walking, transit, or vehicle. The neighborhood restaurants and wine bars are a must. The space is clean and tidy, light and airy, and has all the amenities needed (the rain shower is a treat and the queen bed is comfortable). The host, Olivier, is gracious and helpful. Highly recommend staying here.

There are many great restaurants and cafe's in the area, and most are walkable. Ubers to Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, etc. are reasonably priced.

This studio is located in a great vibrant neighborhood. The building has a small elevator so it's easy to go up to the apartment. Trying to make the hot water last long enough to allow 2 people to finish was challenging. e

Lovely studio apartment in great neighborhood

My husband and I had a fantastic stay in this charming flat in the 11th Arrondissement. Great walks across the city from this well located spot - not in the thick of things but easy access to everything by foot, metro, Uber, etc. Charming, classic building; great open-air market a few blocks away (twice weekly); good restaurants, bars and shops nearby. We loved it and will stay here again!

Perfect location.

The location was perfect! Close enough to easily get to the tourists destinations but away from the center of the bustle of the tourist district. Convenient to everything you need (shopping, bakery, grocery, restaurants, etc) and the rail. The rail system is inexpensive and easy to navigate. Host was very responsive and helpful!

Lovely Marais

My stay at Olivier’s was lovely. Very nice neighborhood. Easily found and easy to find groceries, restos and excellent bakeries. Although my short stay had no need, there was a washer and dryer! Large bath and shower. Plenty of hot water. Well equipped kitchen. Clear instructions of expectations for guests. And a lift! I highly recommend.

Wonderful stay!

This was the perfect little studio to stay while in Paris. Close to the trains to get into the heart of the city. It was a nice quiet place to come back to after a long day! Olivier was so accommodating! We arrived late at night and he was there to meet us and made sure to answer any questions we may have! (:

Perfect for a couple

Alles bestens

Schnelle und unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit Olivier, gute Lage, wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in Paris. Das Viertel Oberkampf ist sehr jugendlich, aber man fühlt sich auch mit 60+ ausgesprochen wohl. Sehr gute Bäckereien. Bus und Metro fußläufig leicht zu erreichen. Merci beaucoup!

Arrivés dans le studio,un bruit strident nous a alerté,problème de chauffe eau,cela peut arriver. Olivier nous a proposé une autre location dans le même quartier qui était bien mais le ménage n'avait pas été fait.... Olivier est réactif mais pas vraiment sympathique,il a du nous prendre pour des bouseux...
