Bel endroit a l'écart de la croisette mais tres accessible du centre.

Environnement calme en plein Cannes

Nous sommes tombés sous le charme de cet appartement imprégné de l’histoire de cette bâtisse classée. Dès la porte franchie, nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Le lieu est splendide, serein, arboré à l’abri de l’effervescence de Cannes à proximité. Nombreux Bus en bas de la villa. Le Suquet à 10 minutes à pieds. Appartement très bien équipé pour une famille nombreuse. Un bémol pour l’espace repas intérieur un peu étroit.

Très bon séjour

Endroit remarquable, tant par le vue que par le calme. Équipement suffisant et fonctionnel. Intérieur chaleureux, pièce à vivre très lumineuse. Nous gardons un très bon souvenir de cette location et remercions Laurence de nous y avoir accueillis en toute simplicité.

Just perfect

Was even closer to the beach than we expected. Loved the garden, found the neighborhood wonderfully peaceful relative to most of Cannes. It was really good to have enough plates, cooking items, washing machine etc. Everytime we needed something it was there. Internet worked well which is very important for my family. The house is very elegant and also a home that is practical to live in.

Ferienwohnung mit Licht und Schatten

Wir haben mit insgesamt sechs (in der zweiten Woche acht) Personen unseren Urlaub in dieser Wohnung verbracht. Die Erfahrungen mit dem Objekt sind durchwachsen. Den Eindruck, den die Fotos in der Anzeige hinterlassen bestätigt die Wohnung nicht. Das Wohnzimmer ist ein schöner Raum, der dem Foto noch am ehesten entspricht. Die Schlafräume sind deutlich weniger hochwertig als es den Anschein hat, das Mobiliar schwankt zwischen Antiquität und Trödel. Die Badezimmer sind in Ordnung, nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Schwachpunkt der Wohnung ist die Küche, bei der insbesondere die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig ließ. Teilweise fand sich Schimmel in der Küche, die in den Schränken stehenden Geschirrteile, Töpfe etc. rochen teilweise muffig und mussten auf jeden Fall vor Gebrauch gründlich gespült werden. Der Esstisch im Flur (unmittelbar vor der Badezimmertür) ist vom Aufstellungsort her und von der Größe des Raumes kaum nutzbar. Letztlich macht dies aber kein großes Problem, wir haben ohnehin meistens auf der Terrasse gegessen. Die Wohnung selber ist in Teilen renovierungsbedürftig, die Fenster öffnen und schließen teilweise nicht richtig, hier wäre ein wenig Renovierungsaufwand sinnvoll. Die Hausregeln sind für eine Ferienwohnung etwas überzogen. Das im Außenbereich keine Handtücher, Luftmatratzen oder Ähnliches aufbewahrt werden dürfen, weil dies den Gesamteindruck des Objektes widerspräche, überzeugt nicht. Der Gesamteindruck insbesondere dieser Wohnung ist nicht so hochwertig, dass ein solcher Anspruch des Vermieters an den Mieter der Ferienwohnung gerechtfertigt wäre. Dies gilt insbesondere vor dem Hintergrund, dass das Gebäude von außen einen deutlich besseren Eindruck hinterlässt als die Wohnung. Die positiven Eindrücke sein aber auch nicht unerwähnt bleiben. Die Lage ist sehr schön, in einem alten Chateau zentral gelegen in einer Art Sackgasse mit Blick auf einen kleinen Park und über die Häuser auf das Mittelmeer. Die Terrasse/Veranda mit dem kleinen Garten ist wunderbar, wenn auch nicht so wie der Eindruck auf den Fotos hervorgerufen wird. Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr angenehm, die Ausstattung vollständig. Die Schlafräume waren zwar (teilweise winzig) klein, die Betten waren aber in Ordnung und sauber. Alles in allem haben wir in der Wohnung einen angenehmen Urlaub verbracht.

Tolle Lage

Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist 5-Sterne plus, ruhig gelegen, tolle Terrasse, nah zum Strand und fußläufig in die Stadtmitte. Die Wohnung an sich ist teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Zusammen gibt es dennoch eine gute 4-Sterne Bewertung.

Bijzondere plek, niet geschikt voor kinderen.

Het appartement bevindt zich in een klein deel van een kasteel. Je slaapt niet elke dag in een kasteel, dus dat is beste bijzonder. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig! We waren hier met twee jonge kinderen en dat was niet zo'n goed idee. Want het huis werd geadverteerd als kindvriendelijk, maar dat is het zeker niet. Sommige meubels zijn niet veilig omdat kinderen ze omver kunnen trekken. Er zijn geen traphekjes. De kinderen mogen volgens de huisregels niet spelen in de tuin vóór het kasteel. En het kinderbedje was kapot, maar toen we dat telefonisch hebben gemeld was er niemand beschikbaar om het probleem op te lossen. Kortom: wel een leuk appartement voor volwassenen, maar niet voor kinderen.

Well situated apartment with outside space

Six adults stayed in this ground floor apartment of the Château Eléonore. It a spacious apartment which retains its old French charm. Situated in a quiet residential area yet only a five minute walk to a lovely beach and fifteen to hustle of Cannes centre, it’s ideally suited for adults and family alike. Communications with Laurence was easy and she was very helpful in answer questions that were put to her. Strongly recommended, we would plan to stay again for our next visit.
