A unique place to stay
A very individual property. The large balcony is a huge point. It gets the sun in the morning and is lovely to sit and look out over the bay in the evening. The apartment is decorated with original artwork. There is a lovely bathroom with a good shower and the bed was comfortable. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the lane and the train station is about 10 mins walk away and is a very quick route into Marseille. However my favourite was the little shuttle boat which links the two harbours wnd is a very scenic trip. As I found in Marseille, everything is up a hill and this flat is up near the top. However it was worth it for the view and I got quite fit in a few days 😊

Wunderschöner Blick, kreative Unterkunft
Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist ziemlich steil - aber es lohnt sich! Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist einfach nur traumhaft. Das Zimmer ist wunderschön und kreativ. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Bad ist groß und die Dusche sehr gut (warmes Wasser, Wasserdruck). Die (Außen-)Küche ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber für uns war es OK. Am Hafen unten gibt es gute Restaurants, wenn man nicht selber kochen mag. Im Sommer fährt dort auch stündlich ein Shuttleboot direkt zum alten Hafen von Marseille. Alternativ gibt es aber auch einen Bus (mit Umsteigen) nahe der Unterkunft. Ein anderer Bus fährt vom Hafen in ein paar Minuten zu einen schönen Badestrand. Von der Lage her absolut perfekt! Nur ist es etwas laut (Autos, Flugzeuge, Züge) - aber das ist beim Urlaub in einer Großstadt wohl zu erwarten und war OK für uns.

Très déçus
Hormis la vue incroyable sur le port de Marseille et la propreté du logement, des détails qui n'en sont pas des moindres ont gâché notre séjour : - stationnement à proximité du logement presque impossible (à moins d'avoir une petite voiture puissante ou un 4x4, sans compter que soit vous montez en marche arrière pour redescendre en marche avant soit vous faites l'inverse, en haut d' une petite ruelle étroite, pentue et sinueuse où aucun demi-tour n'est possible. - A l'arrivée, nous avons attendu pendant presque 2h le voisin du propriétaire (néanmoins très gentil) qui devait nous ouvrir la porte. - nous avons dû réclamer les draps pour le 2eme lit, non fournis à notre arrivée - le coin-cuisine (situé à l'extérieur du logement sur la terrasse) ne possède pas d'évacuation des eaux usées (seau qu'il faut vider). Nous avons donc dû faire la vaisselle dans la douche. -

Bonjour, l'impression est très positive. Claude nous a accueilli très chaleureusement, et a été vraiment adorable avec nous pendant notre séjour. Il a eu la gentillesse de nous rendre un service avec une grande générosité. Merci à lui ! le logement a une vue superbe sur l'Estaque avec un peu de vent, ce qui fait du bien les soirs pour se reposer un peu de la chaleur ambiante. une adresse à garder !

"We had a very nice holid...
"We had a very nice holiday. The price for the rental was very good, so we did not have a lot of expectations. It was nice and clean. There was a big sunny terras. The only thing we missed was a little kitchen to prepare our own food. The rest was perfect! Althougt there is running a train behind the house, it did not bother us at all. Estaque is a very nice village. Restaurants are good if you like fish. The people are a little arrogant but it means also they dont bother you with anything. To get from Estaque to Marseille city takes you about 15 minutes bij train or bus. The bus is easy and cheap (about €1,50 single way pp). "

Très beau séjour dans cette superbe ville de Marseille.Une très belle vue et les alentours d’une beauté rare. L’hébergement était un peu spartiate mais conforme à l’annonce et la vue était juste magnifique au petit matin. Propriétaire très accueillant, à l’écoute et très souriant.

Gîte avec vue imprenable sur le nouveau port de Marseille.
Nous avons reçu un très bel accueil, ce qui fut apprécié, étant arrivés tard en soirée. Le gîte est parfait pour dormir et pour les soins personnels: le lit est confortable et la salle de bain est bien équipée avec une belle douche. On peut profiter d'une grande terrasse bien aménagée avec vue magnifique sur le nouveau port de Marseille. Pour se nourrir, il faut se limiter à des repas déjà tout préparés car la cuisine n'est pas aménagée suffisamment pour cette fonction. Pour le petit déjeûner, ça peut aller. Ayant habité le lieu en octobre, il faudra prévoir un grand ménage du logis mais cela est sûrement dû à la fin de la haute saison. Aller marcher au nouveau port nous a fait vivre une belle expérience: c'est plein de vie. Louise et Michel du Québec

unglaubliche Aussicht!
Wir hatten eine fantastische Woche in Marseille und haben uns jeden Abend vom Trubel der Großstadt auf der Terrasse erholt. Die Wohnung ist sehr charmant, L'Estaque sehr malerisch und die Aussicht von der Terrasse phänomenal. 5 Sterne.

Vraiment un super endroit ou passez ses vacances, bon marché et très joli : un peu de marche (montée pour accéder au logement) mais la vue sur la ville et la mer vaut largement le coup. location a proximité des transports, commerces et l estaque est un endroit de rêve. .. et l hote tres sympa

Accueil chaleureux, intérieur propre et aménagé avec goût, univers coloré. Belle vue de la terrasse, et des fauteuils pour se détendre le soir et le matin. Même si la voie ferrée est proche, ce n'est pas du tout dérangeant car c'est une ligne peu fréquentée. Très pratique, car il y a des bus ou un bateau jusqu'à Marseille.

"Le Lieu est joli mais bruyant (aéroport proche fonctionnant jusque 0h + TGV tout à côté). L'accueil est sympathique, mais l'environnement ne semble pas très sûr si on n'est pas immatriculé 13 (d'après le propriétaire). Néanmoins, il n'est rien arrivé à ma voiture. Enfin il ne faut pas être trop à cheval sur la propreté."
