OCEANFRONT Cottage with Covered Deck, Pet Friendly

Classic Carolina Oceanfront... not many left! Best Deal for oceanfront available! If you want to come and stay ON the beach this is for you. We are located on an uncrowded part of Emerald Isle. This cottage was built in the early 1970s by a lumber mill owner with cypress lumber in and out.

Hardwood flooring with great clean new feel without sacrificing the classic cottage style! Arguably the best deck around. We provide all the linens, you bring your bathing suits.

This is a four bedroom, plus loft, and three full bath home. The beds are two kings, one queen, 2 doubles, and two twins. Five televisions. Large deck with rockers for endless views. Come play and relax. Pick your days... not just Sunday to Sunday! Want eight days... if we have it, you can rent it! It's your vacation. We are flexible with shorter stays. Send an email request.

New for 2023 rental season- HVAC, AC paved parking area

Relaxation Time
Our family gathering was very enjoyable at this property. It had everything we needed to make our trip wonderful. The house has good space (there were 7 of us and 2 dogs). The back deck was just perfect for relaxing and listening to the ocean waves. The owners responded very quickly. The only downside was having to wash and dry the towels before we left and some extra hooks would be helpful in the bathroom. Overall a very good place to stay.

A few firsts with our daughter, son-in-law, two granddaughters, and two dogs:- My first VRBO experience- True family vacation with the kids- First beach experience for the granddaughters (they usually go to the mountains)The house was perfect for all of us. It was very clean, beautiful views, comfortable, and right on the beach. Everybody wants to do this again.

Great deck
The deck was fantastic and offered great views of the storms over the ocean! The rooms were nice and beds were very comfortable, unfortunately only 2 rooms had closets. The cottage was much smaller than it looked online, all 4 rooms opened right into the kitchen/living room area so I am glad we all went to bed & woke about the same time each day. It was awkward to have to go thru a bedroom (or outside) to get to a bathroom so the person in the loft is a bit stuck if it is raining outside and everyone else has gone to bed The host was very responsive and even brought a dresser for the loft when asked

Great location. Many thoughtful extra provisions like beach chairs, boogie boards and beach towels. View from the porch is stunning. House is showing some wear but still in pretty good condition. Once you get your groceries for the week there really is no need to leave the house/beach. Beautiful!

Family Beach Stay
Location is amazing, a few steps and you’re on the beach. The two rooms with king beds had the most amazing views to wake up to on the morning. Coffee on the porch every morning was the perfect way to start the day. There’s a dollar general right down the road if you forgot a few things. Only downfall is they want the towels to be washed prior to departure which can be difficult to get done in time if you want to shower before your departure. Definitely recommend!

Love this property!
We had our 2nd stay here and we love this property. Plenty of room for our family of 4 or 6, conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood with extremely easy beach access. We spend a lot of our time sitting on the porch where there’s plenty of chairs and a picnic table to eat outside with family. It’s rustic and easy to unwind!

We had a wonderful time on our multi generational girls trip at this house! The accommodations were exactly as described. The beds could have been more comfortable, but the beach and the house were just what we expected. I gave 4 stars for check in process because the code wasn’t provided in the email link. Other than that all communication with the owner was stellar. I highly recommend this home!!!
