Sweet Private Leavenworth River Front Cabin with Fast WiFi & hot tub- Sleeps 6.

This warmly decorated home is ideal for family vacations or a couple’s getaway. The cabin looks out on its own huge private river front and accompanying meadow (think: capture the flag, walking meditations, Andy Goldsworthy sculpture building sessions). Indoor kitchen island seats six and doubles as dining table. We offer super fast fiber optic WiFi for those that need to stay connected; this also allows you to partake in content movies, etc. via fire stick. The covered deck on the second floor has a large dining table and gas BBQ perfect when weather's warmer. The Hot Tub is nestled on the patio below with another table and seating area. There are two bedrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The downstairs area can be fully enclosed and had to be labeled by the county as a third bedroom. It doubles as a game/living room with a sofa bed. A path meanders from the patio through the field to the Chiwawa River where you can dip in the water or just watch the river rush by. Also by the river is a stone fire ring and seating, bring wood and smore's makings - during County approved months.

The beautiful Bavarian village of Leavenworth is 20 minutes away with its many seasonal festivals.

Mountain Springs Lodge is a couple of minutes away with snowmobile rentals, a restaurant and sleigh rides. You can schedule a snowmobile tour and a dinner all on the same night. In summer months you can schedule horseback rides at Mountain Springs or hike some of the many nearby trails. In the tiny town of Plain, you will find Just Plain Grocery and Plain Hardware, a store with a surprising selection of garden, home, and personal accessories for your shopping pleasure~ espresso too!

Some of the many activities available nearby include Lake Wenatchee state park 10 minutes away, for the anglers - Fish Lake is 10 minutes away. Also nearby is Thousand Trails, as well as many guided river rafting tours. See our area information page on our website for links to area activities.

From Stevens Pass to Wenatchee you will find your favorite activities. Our location in the middle offers access to everything, whether you're golfing, fishing or rafting on the Wenatchee River, hiking in the Alpine Wilderness Area of the Cascades, rock climbing near Leavenworth, or enjoying a scenic wine tour, you are sure to create wonderful memories. There is something for the entire family to enjoy any time of year.

Little Slice of Heaven

The house was great and river was amazing. Discovering Plain, WA and visiting Lake Wenatchee was was a treat as well. Close enough to Leavenworth to make it easily accessible, far enough away from civilization to make it relaxing. Do be aware of two things: 1) The third queen size bed is a hide-away couch bed; 2) No fires. Overall wonderful place to stay. We would return anytime!

A little piece of paradise.

What an incredible stay. This listing fully surpassed my expectations. If privacy and serenity are what you seek, look no further than this location. The scenery was exceptional. The house was very clean, with amenities that were much more than I expected. It was the perfect spot to get away and feel pampered at the same time. The river was beautiful. The house and amenities were modern. Five stars all the way around!

Trickery listing

Don't get me wrong, we were very happy with our stay. However, the 3rd bedroom???? Really, the county made you list it that way - it is where you enter the house, has stairs leading to the outside, it is an access to the bathroom, and you cannot get to the other bedroom without walking through it. I doubt anyone MADE the list it as a bedroom. It is only showing 1 sleeper bed, actually 2 of them are. One as listed (double), but one of the queens listed is actually a sofa bed. The temperature was in the 40's and the fireplaces had been dismantled. It says to bring smores making kit and firewood, however, you cannot build a fire in fire pit. Again, stated it was due to the county regulations. Free breakfast is listed twice, but not provided. With all that said, the location is absolutely beautiful. Every time I stepped out on the upper deck, it took my breath away.

Paradise by the river

The house is beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is equipped with everything that you need to cook with. The hot tub was clean, warm and inviting after our drive. The best bonas for us was being able to hear the river at night with our windows open. Totally delightful. We would definitely stay here again. We felt safe and relaxed for our entire stay. Thank you again for sharing your property.

Out of owners control, but neighbors ruined our stay

The home and property are beautiful. The location is perfect, and the sound of the river is so relaxing. The issues we had were regarding neighbors. I spoke with the owner, and they are going to post no trespassing signs and speak with their neighbors to hopefully solve the issue. The neighbor has 6 off leash dogs that did not stay in their yard, barked constantly, growled at us, followed us when we walked on the driveway, came onto the property and attacked my dogs, defecated all over the property, and we were concerned about getting bit. Neighbors across the road trespassed to make use of the river access, littered potato chips, and stole fire wood. Be aware this is a shared driveway and the home you share with is 6500 square feet with 4 travel trailers parked out front. The grass under those RVs was tall leading us to believe they had been parked a long time or are permanent.

Truly lovely retreat

Perfect River Views

Loved the location of this cabin! Its in an open field so lots of sunshine but you have a front row view of the river from the deck, perfect for relaxing. Its just a short walk down a small hill and through the field to get to the fire pit and the river. Only about 20-30 min to Leavenworth and about 10 to Lake Wenatchee. Recommend the Old Mill Cafe just a couple miles away in Plain for its BBQ and take and bake pizzas!

Magical

My family and I stayed during the Presidents Day weekend and let me tell you this place did not disappoint! Location was perfect, the house was clean, cozy and welcoming. The online pictures do not do this place justice! It snowed a couple of the morning and the view was magical! The house had a great space to cook in and very easy to find all the necessities! Christmas stay

The property was beautiful in the snow. Our family was there over Christmas and they had a cute little Christmas tree up. It is a cozy house. The only sad thing is there is no room for a kitchen table in the house to eat together and play games. Maybe a heater on the deck to enjoy the outside table would be a nice addition to our stay. Beautiful Christmas Home

Great girls weekend

Cabin was clean and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need! The games, foosball table and puzzles were a great bonus. Perfect place to stay and head out for day hikes in the central cascades or explore Leavenworth. We enjoyed it so much and will definitely book again if we decide to try out more hikes in the area in the future!

Relaxing Cabin

We loved it as soon as we drove in the driveway! Beautiful cabin, nice surrounding area! The inside of the cabin is well decorated. Furniture very comfortable, as were the beds. We loved walking down to the river and just sitting there listening to it. Very relaxing atmosphere surrounding the whole property. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook. Close to Leavenworth, which was fun to go to to shop. We loved coming back to the cabin knowing we had a hot tub to relax our bodies after so much walking! This is a cabin I would want to definitely rent again. Us three women had a blast here!

Nice secluded getaway

Overall we enjoyed our time spent in your home very much. Everything we needed and expected was included. I do however suggest a curtain for privacy on the first floor bedroom door leading to the patio. My son and his wife slept in that room and had no privacy when others were in the hot tub. If someone has mobility issues this is not the place for you as the kitchen and living is upstairs.

Lovely home near Leavenworth

We have stayed at this property in Plain, about 20 minutes from Leavenworth, on the Chiwawa River once before. There is a reason we came back! The location is perfect for those not wanting to be right in the Leavenworth crowd but close enough to enjoy the town while offering a gorgeous view and private access to the river. We went with another couple who took over the downstairs bedroom/bathroom while we had the upstairs so everyone had privacy. The living room is cozy, the kitchen is stocked with anything you might want or need, and the deck overlooking the river is very roomy. But for us it's LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! That river....so beautiful. We had one issue that was our own fault and the owner was understanding and accomodating when we let her know about it. We'll definitely be back.

Fantastic Quiet Location

The cabin was a wonderful getaway! It was comfortable and well equipped. The river was awesome and a great location to unwind after a day of exploring. There was a fire ban so we were not able to use the fire pit but it looked like fun. The decks were terrific for early morning coffee or reading throughout the day. The hot tub wasn't working so that was disappointing.

Nice stay

Stay was good. River flowed wildly in front of the grassy area in front of the house. Bring your Amazon Streaming stick because the TVs are not very smar/new. I think the place (with grill and hot tub) could use a solid cleaning, but overall the place is nice and area is particularly beautiful.

Calm by the river

We had an amazing time relaxing at this beautiful home! We had my older parents and two siblings enjoy three nights here. We sat in the hot tub, played board games together and sat for hours down by the river. The river was so wonderful to be near and you can listen to it on the patios (there are two) or inside the home with windows open. We had roasted marshmallow s’mores and watched the river with the fire pit right next to the water. We also lucked out with the weather! Sunny and blue skies each day! House is comfortable and has all of the kitchen items you need. House is well equipped with towels, extra blankets and the most comfortable duvets! Definitely bring bug spray while you are down by the river- it is the great outdoors so be prepared. Quiet, serene, peaceful, energizing, majestic and just wonderful listing. We will return!

2 bedrooms....not 3.

Great property and view of river, it states however that there are 3 bedrooms which there are not and there was a blood stain on the fold out couch in the downstairs living room so it was opened and then promply closed and never used by us after that. Love the river view, worked for us minus the space as we all crammed upstairs after the blood finding and didn't even want to open the hideabed upstairs. Quiet setting, visiting Leavenworth was beautiful.
