Amenities were awful 😖

Quiet, Beach front and easy access to so many golf courses, shopping and restaurants. Palmetto Vacations Rental staff are top notch. We would recommend this property without hesitation to anyone wanting a peaceful break from the world. An added bonus is the Embassy Suites Hotel right beside the property for overflow guests or treat yourself to the wonderful weekend buffet breakfasts. Thank you Palmetto.

Great Potential - Would NOT return due to CLEANLINESS

Reviewer Comments: I've rented this unit 3 times and it's a fantastic unit with great potential HOWEVER it is a mold, mildew and DUST breeding ground. It's extremely bad - to the point I had such a severe anaphylaxis reaction that I was admitted to the hospital for 4 days due to dust inhalation and allergic reactions. We took pictures of the thick, heavy piles of dust under the bed, behind the headboards and in every single vent!! I lost out on 4 days and had to book a hotel room because I could not stay back in those living conditions. I attempted to notify Palmetto twice because I did not want to share the review and damage a good reputation but there was no follow up, reply or anything done to rectify the situation or make us whole. Again great place with potential but put your health first!

Expected a certain level of cleanliness that was not there when we arrived. I sent an email to property manager when booking the listing and during our stay, no replies to them. If you just want a place to sleep this is for you. Kitchen supplies were lacking for a week family vacation.

South Hampton

Loved this spacious condo with 4 balconies! View of the beach was Awesome! Beautiful surrounding grounds. Would not recommend this property for young children—2nd bedroom could be a separate unit and has it’s own balcony which was great for our adult child. Check-in is removed from the property; keys had to be returned there at checkout—opposite direction from home for us. Did not receive the contract from the management group in advance—not a big deal but would have packed some things from home (trash bags, paper products, soap, dishwasher detergent, etc) Overall, would definitely come back and refer to friends!

Great place To stay at Kingston plantation resort

We have been going to Kingston plantation for over 14 years and have rented several different accommodations, from Lakeview villas condos at Brighton, and various other units. We have Found South Hampton ocean front to be the best place for us. Although an older building, we like the casualness and ocean front units to be the best suited for us. Very easy access to the beach hotel and meeting rooms. A particular unit was well stocked And the duck do you was fantastic. We would definitely consider renting this particular unit again.

Older property on crowded beach

Found it confusing to find the actual condo. The condo was fine although a bit old. With so many condos on the property the beach was really crowded.

This condo is in a great location. The views were superb! Our only complaint was that the dishwasher didn't work very well to clean the dishes, we ended up cleaning them by hand. Otherwise we were very pleased with the condo and had a great time!

Awesome view--Dirty Unit!

The balcony (x 4) were great, panoramic view of the Ocean! Unfortunately the unit was dirty-actually filthy, I have been going to beach for many years and this was by the far the worst-in cleanliness- unit I have ever stayed in. The couch and chairs were gray but were so dirty they were actually black! The pictures you see here are apparently quite old. The couch was so dirty they had a white quilted cover on seat cushions, I think hoping to cover up some of the dirt. The furniture was so broken down it was almost impossible to get up out of them! There were dirty dishes in the cupboard. The rugs on the floors were so dirty we were afraid to walk on them without shoes. The air was broken in the bedroom area (not Ocean side). (We did not call about this since we did not need) The rental location was quite a distance from the condo. Would recommend installing keypads. Parking was difficult, at this price why are we not allowed to park in the owners space? This could be an amazing property, just needs a deep cleaning and new furniture!!

Great views !

Loved the views and separated bedrooms and bathrooms. Very spacious! When we arrived we received a text that said welcome and you have to drive another 6 miles or so to pick up our keys. Very inconvenient and last minute . Not much to do on the property.

Tattered and dirty...management company grossly lacking

The location of this unit is amazing/ grounds are very well maintained and beautiful. Overall condition of this unit is tattered and dirty, with broken and dirty glasses in cupboards, very old pots and pans in poor condition, A/C broken, patched holes in walls not painted, filthy furniture, etc. The unit itself is amazing and has great potential, but it appears that the management company is doing a very poor job at keeping the unit clean and in good repair. Would highly recommend this building (and this unit), provided that a different management company is involved!
