Une excellente location

Nous avons passé deux très belles semaines dans la magnifique maison de Monique et Michel qui nous ont très bien reçu avec de belles petites attentions et de très bons conseils pour visiter les environs. L’endroit est calme malgré la proximité de la route. Le jardin est très agréable et très vert, et nous avons pu trouver de l’ombre quand nous le souhaitions. La maison est très jolie, aménagée avec bon goût, et dispose d’une très bonne literie. La cuisine est bien équipée. La piscine est superbe. Nous les remercions pour leur gentillesse, leur amabilité, leurs attentions.

Une villa très confortable pour un merveilleux séjour.

La décoration de la villa est très soignée (bravo l'artiste !) et la climatisation dans toutes les pièces très appréciable en ces temps de canicule. Equipement de cuisine au top, vaste salle de séjour, literies très confortables. Le jardin fleuri avec ses multiples terrasses en fonction du soleil, et la vaste piscine sécurisée et bien conçue pour des tout-petits, tout est parfait pour passer des vacances idylliques à proximité du festival ! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans la maison de Monique et Michel. Elle est très bien située pour visiter la région. Tout était parfait: la propreté, l'aménagement de la maison, la décoration, l'équipement de la cuisine. Toutes les pièces sont très bien climatisées. Nous avons également passé d’agréables moments autour de la piscine. Monique et Michel étaient très chaleureux et très attentifs, toujours prêts à nous proposer des bons plans de visites culturelles et gourmandes afin qu'on découvre la belle région de Provence. Merci à Monique et Michel pour leur accueil chaleureux et leurs gentilles attentions. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de vacances malgré la canicule. On a apprécié la climatisation et la piscine, parfaitement sécurisée pour les enfants en bas âge. Nos enfants ont adoré donner à manger à Roussine, la poule, et récupérer l'oeuf du jour! Rien à dire sur les équipements de la maison, la localisation idéale pour visiter Avignon et le Gard. Je mettrais un bémol sur les tarifs excessifs de ménage / location des draps/serviettes.

Super séjour durant le festival d'Avignon !

Nous gardons un souvenir inoubliable de ce séjour en Provence ! Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous dans cette magnifique villa à deux pas d'Avignon bien desservie par des bus qui nous ont amenés au pied du Château des Papes et nous ont permis de savourer nos soirées au Festival d'Avignon sans compter l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires.

Merveilleuse villa !!!

Calme et reposant , j'ai rarement si bien dormi. Prendre son petit déjeuner avec le chant des oiseaux était un régal ! Félicitations pour le confort et les aménagements de cette maison au cœur de la pinède. Le jardin est splendide ! Belle piscine bien chaude, où nous avons pu bien profiter de la plage pour les petits et ainsi que des transats pour bien bronzé. Ne changez rien ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir l'année prochaine. Het had gerust een weekje langer mogen duren !

Familievakantie tijdens theaterfestival. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst door Monique en Michel, uitgebreide uitleg en instructies bij aankomst. Ook tijdens het verblijf en bij vertrek waren ze zeer attent. Rustige buurt (voor sommigen misschien té), aangenaam verblijf. Niet goedkoop maar je krijgt alle comfort en veel ruimte in huis, ook genoten van terrassen en zwembad. Iets verder van Avignon dan we hadden gedacht maar vlot busverkeer ( tijdens Festival parking tekort in Avignon maar frequenter bussen ). Het zeer gedetailleerde contract + allerlei richtlijnen ter plaatse hadden ons eerst wat afgeschrikt maar dat viel in de praktijk allemaal goed mee. Enig minpuntje misschien : je krijgt contract en exacte locatie pas na betaling van voorschot en zonder mogelijkheid tot annuleren. Verder perfect !

A wonderful relaxing holiday villa

We spent a fabulous two weeks here at the end of June. The villa was situated near to all amenities in a lovely sunny spot. The pool was fantastic and the villa catered for all your needs. The hosts were helpful and friendly and went out of their way to welcome you. The location was perfect for exploring Provence. Being close to Villeneuve-lès-Avignon meant eating out at lovely restaurants was effortless. We will definitely come again.

Excellent séjour

La situation de la villa permet de rayonner dans la région et de bénéficier d'un accès aisé à différents monuments tel que : le pont du Gard, le Palais des Papes, les Arènes de Nîmes et à une multitude de villages de caractères environnant. Propre, décoré avec goût et au calme dispose d'une piscine, un jardin et un studio équipé (kitchenette, douche et lit deux places). Un très beau séjour. Comfortable villa a dog called Berlioz and hens!

Monfleur is a comfortable villa with a lovely garden which includes a pool and 7 hens and a sweet dog called Berlioz (these are in cages). The kitchen is well equipped with lots of great utensils. The only thing missing for us Brits Abroad was a large teapot and I must say most of the mugs were chipped which I think could easily and cheaply be replaced. There is a bus stop nearby but It is not that easy to get to Avignon on public transport as the buses do not go very regularly, so I would definitely hire a car. Our car hire company had let us down on the first day and it was very kind and hospitable of the owner to take us to the supermarket to stock up when we arrived. In the house there are signs everywhere telling you what you cannot do, which we found a little off putting - I've stayed in grander places where the owner did not feel it necessary to do this and did not list the contents in fear we might steal it! Monique and her family were always very warm and kissed us three times each time we met, which I thought was lovely. Merci Monique et famille! Lucinda

just lovely!

Beautiful house, felt like home away from home! Lovely pool and safe for children, quiet location in a suburb but easy access to Avignon as well as the beautiful Luberon villages. A Perfect Location with Exceptional Hosts

I just returned from a perfect week at Villa Monflour. The villa and our hosts were perfect. Villa Monflour is perfectly positioned just 15 minutes from Avignon and 10 minutes from the beautiful village of Villeneuve with it's enchanting street cafes and lovely restaurants . A great spot for exploring the region too. Our host Monica is an accomplished artist and wine expert and was super helpful with anything that we needed during our stay. A spotlessly clean villa with a beautiful and well maintained pool. We are a pretty demanding group of travellers and the fact that we are already planning our next stay says it all !

Beautiful villa in an excellent location!

We recently returned from a wonderful week in this beautiful home. We spent the week with our adult children and their spouses and everyone agreed that we could not have made a better choice. The home is well-equipped and at the end of a quiet street. We enjoyed the ease with which we were able to take day trips to the lovely towns in Provence and return in the afternoon to enjoy the perfect weather and beautiful pool and grounds. The landscaping around Monique's special oasis was park like. She was extremely accommodating and kind. There were fresh fruits and vegetables available upon our arrival. The fresh eggs from the resident hen were delicious. The home is close to restaurants and grocery stores. The charcuterie in Les Angles hand cut steaks for us one night for dinner. The most memorable part of our trip was the owner. She did everything she could to make sure that we had a wonderful trip.....and we certainly did. It was a week that we will never forget. Magnifique maison & cadre + beaucoup de confort

Nous y avons séjourné avec 2 familles durant les fêtes d'Avignon. Cette jolie maison au style provençale offre effectivement beaucoup de confort (dont la clim discrète et efficace) et un très beau jardin, le tout entouré d'un vaste bois de pins. Les 2 grandes terrasses (jusqu'à 10 personnes chacune) permettent de profiter du magnifique cadre matin, midi et soir. La piscine est belle et propre, mais la forme pas pratique pour les grands sportifs. Avignon à quelques min avec parking gratuit. Très agréable, l'ambiance provençale en +.

What we love: Avignon is a wonderful city with history and culture, very pleasant to live in. We have been happily leaving here for 18 years: we like to go to the scented market hall in the morning, the strolls in the city lively of out of the time depending on the moment, the small magical streets with surprising names (Cat's street, Wheelbarrow street,...) and the charming old houses. The architecture, the human size, the beautiful Palais des Papes, the Jardin des Doms with a gorgeous view of the valley, the backstreets were time seems to have stopped, the Ceccano multimedia library, the museums, the cinemas, the restaurants, the Place des Corps Saints, the Ile de la Barthelasse...
The student atmosphere with their outings, having a drink on a sunny bar terrace, savouring a tomato with olive oil and basilica in a shaded bistro-bar. Access the culture and the huge scene that welcomes the largest festival of in & off theatre in the world. More and more dynamic, a good system of bus until 0.30 a.m., 3 SNCF train stations, the TGV train station, the central train station, and the south station for cars. One international airport.
