Magnificent views of Bali Hai and the blue Pacific are easily enjoyed from the living room as well as the dining area where the panoramic effect is especially dramatic. Located near the edge of a bluff, this first-floor condo is conveniently close to a path that leads to a sandy beach below at sea level.

You will, undoubtedly, want to relax on the lanai surrounded by gentle breezes to take in nature's splendor. Here is an ideal place to enjoy a morning cup of island coffee, a cool, tropical beverage and the colorful skies of sunset in the evenings.

A short walk from your door, you can lounge by the pool and have a refreshing swim at your leisure. The neighboring town of Hanalei is quite charming and definitely worth at least one visit. Have fun strolling through town and browsing the interesting shops and galleries.

Hanalei's varied cafes and restaurants are a nice complement to those located right in Princeville. Tempting menus offer an endless choice of cuisine and preparation style. Also, this condo's full kitchen makes it easy to dine in the comfort of your own home away from home when you prefer.

Anniversary Stay
The condo is as advertised and was close enough to everything yet far enough away that we had privacy. We would have given all categories a five star rating but the check in process feels archaic and old. To have to stop at the office to pick up the keys and to have to drop them off is a bit inconvenient when you are traveling from out of town. It added a layer of stress that isn’t necessary if the condo has a key box or code to enter.

This one was super clean with good amenities, and a fantastic view of Bali Hai and Hanalei Bay area. We also found Kauai Vacation Rentals to be super to work with. We left a wallet in the unit, and the housekeeper got it to the office, who had it FedEx shipped to us. Terrific service. We plan to return as soon as we can!

Love the location
We have stayed at this complex many times. First time staying in this specific unit. View from the living room/back porch is spectacular. Since this is the first building and really no where to walk to behind the building, we didn’t see many people passing by out back as you do with the other buildings in the complex so felt a bit more private. Quick snorkel beach access via the mostly paved walking path down the cliff right next to the building. Also a reasonable walk to Queens Bath and the beach next to the hotel at the end of the road. Cooked half of our meals in the kitchen and had all the equipment, bowls, etc. we needed. Found Princeville had multiple open air / farmer/ craft markets during our stay over the week which we hadn’t noticed in prior years. Easy drive to the grocery story and some restaurants in Princeville.

Quiet Kauai Retreat

Minor stuff and did not detract from the whole.

Had a snafu because our unit was beneath one that was being remodeled and it was noisy, but management gave us a new unit immediately. The views from the units of Hanalea Bay and the ocean are spectacular and we were visited by the Nenes in front of our unit ever morning. Unit was clean and well-appointed.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was decent and part have been updated, but some areas really need a refresh. For example, the bathroom vanity had been updated but the flooring, closets and shower were very weathered. The doors on the closet didn't close all the way and were out of the sliding track when we arrived. I was able to pop one back in but it just kept popping out, making the entry into the bathroom tight to navigate since it's next to the door.The shower head sprayed every which way, which was a little tricky but usable. The floors in the bathroom and kitchen both need to be updated or at least given a thorough cleaning. I spilled some water from the fridge filter and when I wiped it up the paper towels came up black (and this was on the day we arrived - eek!)The location is great, the views from the lanai can't be beat, but they're really relying on the location to get by with the less than desirable parts of the property. Just felt a bit overpriced for the quality.

Just what we needed
My husband and I recently spent our 25th anniversary on Kaua'i. We spent the first half of our trip in Princeville at the lovely and perfectly located Pali Ke Kua. This property has amazing views and is located within walking distance of beaches, a golf course, other resorts, walking trails and it has a great on-property restaurant. Nourish is a darling little lunch spot a very close drive away. There is so much to love about this spot and we will revisit!
