Perfectly located home away from home

The apartment is located in the centre of Old Madrid, very close to the Puerta de Sol plaza. It is a very comfortable apartment with all the amenities you need. We stayed for 5 nights and had breakfast on the the outdoor patio every morning. It is an easy walk to all the major attractions and the metro. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby. We would definitely stay here if we visited Madrid again.

Unbeatable location

This is a great apartment, in an unbeatable location and with everything you would need. We were a group of 5 adults and 3 kids 7-9 for three night and then 3 adults for remaining 4 nights. There was plenty of room for us all but definitely felt more spacious at the end of the week. Communication with the host was really good but feel the apartment could benefit from something like a user manual type thing with info on taking bins out, using sat tv, smart tv, washing machine etc. The apartment is in a really busy area but there was no disruptive noise from anywhere. It was quite hot when we were there so perhaps the terrace could do with a parasol. Would definitely come back to this apartment again!

Great Location

The location of this property was ideal. We could walk to most any place.The size of the rooms were good.Our only complaint was that we found a bug under the kitchen sink and mentioned this to the manager, and this person never apologized or said anything. While I’ve never encountered this issue before while staying at a VRBO, I do think the manager should have acknowledged this and responded promptly.

Amazing location

Location is very convenient. In the middle of everything. The initial finding of the main entrance could get tricky but if tou read the check in instructions closely it is easy to find. Accomadions does have everything needed for a night sleep, kitchen is well equipped. weequiws

Definitely Needs A Refresh!

This place if very centrally located and allows for easy walking to all that Madrid has to offer. As others have said, it appears to be clean - although there is a lot of dust atop the stove hood (I don't think the cleaning lady is tall enough to see it!). However, a few things caused us some concerns. Firstly, when checking in the lovely concierge lady of course noted our Passport details on the requisite forms, but she also insisted on taking pictures of our passports on what appeared to be her personal phone. No other VRBO we stayed at took pictures of our passports. While the property manager assured us these images are deleted, we have not proof of this. Also, as a few others have indicated, this apartment could use a refresh. There is an odour (musty/stale) when you enter. There's some mold in one of the showers and the cracked/missing grout, and the laminate floors/moulding show evidence of moisture/water damage (I have experience with home renos). I wonder if the odour is hidden mold. The current value of this VRBO is in its location. With a few repairs and refreshing, it could be excellent.

très bel appartement avec terrasse en plein centre

L'appartement est spacieux, propre, très bien situé et calme. Il dispose surtout d'une superbe terrasse et d'une belle vue dégagée. Seul bémol : la literie qui mériterait d'être renouvelée. Sinon, c'était un excellent séjour !

L'appartamento è invitante e sicuramente ben messo da un punto di vista logistico, vicino a tutte le attrazioni e a tutti i musei della città, raggiungibili a piedi senza problemi. Il problema si presenta se occorre dormire in otto persone, in quanto il divano letto non è assolutamente presentabile per un appartamento che offre ospitalità. Non ha lenzuola adatte (corte e bucate), e le coperte sono eccessivamente corte e non permettono di dormire come si deve (potrei dire che non permettono proprio di dormire). Dopo aver fatto presente quanto scritto alla proprietà niente è cambiato, la risposta è stata "il letto ve lo ha fatto vedere la signora e le lenzuola sono dove vi ha indicato lei. Grazie".Peccato davvero, perché basterebbe poco per meritare un buon voto, ma stando così le cose lo definirei un APPARTEMNTO PER 6 PERSONE, NON DA 8

Perfect Madrid Apartment

This apartment was better than we imagined. So clean and the space was perfect for our family of four. The location was very central to shopping, Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace and more. The dining options were endless. But so were the crowds. December was very busy for Madrid but the apartment was surprisingly quiet.

Fantastic stay!

I was concerned it was going to be loud or a dump but oh my gosh, location and space were awesome!! The gal at the front desk was so sweet and so helpful, too! Highly recommend! Beds need updating big time however. But Americans traveling in Europe always deal with bed issues:).

Heart of the City

Fabulous location for visiting the sights, bars, restaurants and markets of Madrid. Lovely sunny terrace was great even in chilly December. The apartment is very quiet for its location and is very spacious.

A great base for exploring Madrid

First the positives: - great location for exploring Madrid - metro was a 1 minute walk - a short walk to countless restaurants - 2 elevators for easy access - spacious, functional, remarkably quiet apartment Needs improvement: - bed/mattress in en-suite bedroom needs to be replaced - needs a toaster - bed linens and towels need a refresh The apartment was functional and had a lot of space to spread-out. But it could use an overall refresh.

A great space in a wonderful neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is clean, comfortable and roomy. Our only criticism is that we thought that the main bedroom had a king bed and it was only a double.

Appartement et emplacement idéal pour Madrid

Le propriétaire est très réactif, la personne à la réception et très gentille et serviable. L’appartement est très bien. Une petite retouche ou deux de peinture serait nécessaire dans une des chambres mais autrement l’appartement est très bien aménagé. Les literie très bonne et la terrasse fabuleuse. L’emplacement est idéal pour faire la visite complète du centre de Madrid à pied et malgré l’emplacement à côté de la place de sol, il n’y a pas de bruit.

Comme à la maison

C’est un appartement très propre et très bien équipé. Tout ce que vous avez de besoin pour rendre votre séjour agréable, vous le retrouverai dans cet appartement. L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter Madrid. Juste à côté d’une station de métro qui est en ligne directe avec la gare de train. On peut facilement visiter Madrid à pieds car l’endroit est très central. Je recommande cet appartement

Great place to stay in central Madrid

This is a lovely, clean, quiet, and very comfortable apartment. It was a little hard to find at first (located between a lottery store and a tobacco shop). When you walk into the building, there is no signage so just be sure to take the elevator to the 5th floor and the apartment is on the right. We some minor communication difficulties with the host but those did not affect our stay. The apartment is well located and close to everything in central Madrid. We did not use the kitchen. Both bathrooms had showers with excellent water pressure and hot water. Queen beds were comfortable. The A/C worked great. We enjoyed the roof top deck. Great place!!

Großzügige Wohnung mit Terrasse direkt im Zentrum

alles war in Ordnung. Viel Platz, gute Küchenausstattung (Verbrauchswaren sollten regelmäßig überholt werden), Klimanlage, große Terrasse, verkehrsgünstig gelegen.
