Stay in beautiful downtown Santa Margarita and be centrally located to everything! SLO is only 10 minutes away and Paso is 20 minutes! Wine tasting, fabulous restaurants, beaches, golfing, weddings, shopping and hiking; Santa Margarita is close to it all.

This single story 2,300 square foot home is newly renovated and includes wood floors throughout the kitchen and living room, travertine tile in the bathrooms and carpet in the bedrooms. The large gourmet kitchen opens to the living room and includes an oversized butcher-block island. Bar stools surround the island table for casual dining or sit at the dining table for a more formal experience.

The living room is cozy and inviting with an open floor plan and high ceilings. There is a flat screen HDTV with DISH Network and a DVD player. The master bedroom offers a king size bed with TV and private bath with whirlpool jet tub, walk in shower and dual sinks. Both guest bedrooms are spacious and feature queen size beds. The second bathroom has a deep bathtub with custom tile and an oversized showerhead.

Enjoy the small town feel on the front porch or dine al fresco on the back deck! Gas BBQ is available for your grilling needs. Have fun with the horse shoe pit or relax by the outdoor fire pit while sipping some delicious local wine.

Activities In The Area
The home is within walking distance to Ancient Peaks Winery, Margarita Adventures, The Range, Dunbar Brewing, Santa Margarita Tavern and more. Many wedding venues are close as well; Santa Margarita Ranch is less than a mile away and Spanish Oaks, Taft Ranch and Grace Maralyn are all just down the road.

Santa Margarita is less than 20 minutes away from Paso Robles where you can visit over 200 wineries and dine around the town's square at some amazing restaurants.

Downtown San Luis Obispo is 10 miles away and features restaurants, movie theaters, and the beautiful historic mission. Every Thursday evening you can enjoy the family friendly Farmers Market filled with great food, live music and entertainment.

If you’d like to spend your day on the beach, head to nearby Avila, Pismo Beach or Morro Bay. Here you can enjoy a variety of activities including kayaking, windsurfing, boogie boarding and surfing. You can also explore beautiful Montana de Oro State Park in Los Osos. Go north on the Pacific Coast Highway and explore the quaint towns of Cayucos and Cambria, and Hearst Castle in San Simeon.

Perfect Getaway for the 4th!

This is our second 4th of July spent at Kristin and Taylor’s home. It’s a perfect home for us and our pups! Plenty of space if we wanted family to join us. Great front porch and backyard! We LOVE watching the neighborhood parade from the front porch. So fun! Indoors has all the necessities…comfy beds, stocked kitchen and games galore!! Great location too! Thanks Kristin for the easy communication! “See” you next year!

Everything we wanted

Great experience. The house was located perfectly for our stay. We were close to the wedding location. The house is clean, large and easy for a large family to spend time together. Great back yards for our dogs. Best housing experience we ever had. We will highly recommend this place to family and friends.

Front porch life

Very nice home. Great neighborhood. Very walkable. Friendly people of all age groups. House has big fully equipped kitchen. Master bedroom is huge.fenced in backyard was a hit with our dogs. Loved the front porch and back deck. There is also a tankless hot water heater.

Great house in a nice little town

4 friends and I enjoyed 5 days in Santa Margarita again this October. House is well laid out, seating area accomodates a large group well. The deck and back yard are lovely. We're return renters for good reason. Onky disappointment was no gas for bbq.

Bad and Good

Good : location, space, natural light, owner tried to rectify problems with new sheets and bath mat and tablets to clean the washer, which was all appreciated but I dont want to deal with any of this on vacation. The house is in physically good condition, but not clean. House has great potential minus these things. Bad : Dirty bathroom rugs, moldy shower curtain, bleach stained sheets, really bad smelling washing machine, torn bath mat. Someone lives on the property and this is not disclosed until you arrive and read the binder. Online listing says you will have the whole house and yard.

Great location

Santa Margarita is a cute little town close to SLO and Paso Robles. Be sure to check out the Ancient Vine tasting room and do not miss out on dinner at The Range restaurant. One of the best meals we’ve ever had.

Large, comfortable home

This house is well appointed, clean, easy to spend time in, and everyone who first enters the front door says “wow”. The living room, kitchen, and dining area are open, and it’s easy to have a small group mingle, cook, converse, and enjoy. Kristen was very helpful. I would definitely recommend it. Dogs enjoyed the fenced yards.

Beautiful home

Family get away

Property is awesome! Great yard to enjoy with family. Front rooms- living/ kitchen/dining are together perfect for our customary activities of cooking, playing board games and making puzzles and watch tv. Could use upgrades to mattresses and pillows Market lights provide a great ambience but did not work. Could use patio chairs that allow relaxing😊 such as Adirondack 😁

Beautiful house

The house is spacious and comfy. Everything inside is clean, working and modern. The backyard has several corners to relax. The kids loved it. The master bedroom and bathroom are amazing too. Kristin is really nice and answered our message super quickly and friendly every time. The restaurants around the house are delicious but you can also cook anything you’d like in the kitchen. We’ll come back next time we’re in the area!

Wonderful Home for us and our pups!

We were looking for a quiet get-away over the 4th of July for our dogs who suffer severe anxiety over fireworks. Kristin’s home was perfect! The house was clean, well stocked and comfy. Lots of room to let the dogs play while we relaxed on the front porch or back deck. A bonus was we were able to experience the Santa Margarita Independence Day parade right from the front porch! Fun!

Graduation home base

We stayed outside of SLO to avoid the college crowd and were so glad we did! SLO was only 10-15 away, so we could participate in all the graduation activities and then head back to our peaceful getaway to grill at "home" for friends and family. The neighborhood is quaint and inviting. Wine-tasting lunch at Ancient Peaks, coffee on the front porch and a stroll through the neighborhood made for an enjoyable weekend.

Beautiful home in a great location!

We had a wonderful time in Santa Margarita! You are close to SLO, Morro Bay and Paso Robles. We discovered Avila Beach which we visited 3 times during our week stay. We did a 1 hour harbor cruise of San Luis Bay (near Avila) with slotours.com, wonderful. The house is roomy, top notch finishes throughout, great linens and wonderful outdoor spaces. Kristin was a gem to work with. Stay here! Peaceful and comfortable. We loved this slow, easy little town. Very memorable vacation for our family!

Week with sisters
