Huron Lodge is the perfect location to spend time together when you need a change of scenery. Not too close....but not too far, conveniently located in Central Wisconsin! At Huron Lake, you’ll find crystal clear water, excellent and safe for swimming, kayaking, canoeing and outstanding fishing on this no-wake lake. Huron Lake is a quiet lake and to respect area residents, we do not allow parties or events. Renter must be over 25.

Our open-concept great room awaits your arrival. Enjoy your mornings with a fresh cup of coffee listening to the birds on the huge wrap-around deck overlooking the water. Enjoy cocktails on the deck with a beautiful sunset view. You may even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights from the deck. In cooler weather, cozy up by the fireplace in the great room overlooking the lake with pine cathedral ceiling. Huron Lodge is complete with a great room, dining area, an updated full kitchen, enclosed 3-season sunroom, full bath, and 2 bedrooms on the main level. The lower level includes large finished, family room, bedroom and another full bath. A walk-out deck off the lower level gives quick access to the lake. Comfortably sleeps 14 in a variety of configurations including 5 queen beds, a queen futon and two twin beds. Loft bedroom upstairs from main level. All bedding, sheets, towels and beach towels provided. 50" Smart TV with YouTube TV on the main level, 40" Roku TV with YouTube TV and Xbox 360 gaming system in the lower level family room along with a foosball table. Also available for you are a selection of 'old school' games - decks of cards, poker chips, and board games.

For outdoor summer fun experience the clear, clean waters of Huron Lake. The water is shallow at the shore with a gradual, sandy slope to deeper water perfect for little ones to play. Includes a dock, swim raft, swim noodles, paddle boat, kayaks, canoe, and row boat. Or bring your own boat to motor on the lake (no wake but we can have motors). A large yard provides area for play and games. Relax with a bonfire in the upper yard fire pit and enjoy the stars, toast marshmallows and tell ghost stories.

Golf more your style? We have excellent golf courses nearby including the new Sand Valley course recently named Golf Magazine's Best New Course of 2017.

Free fiber optic WIFI, two car garage (plus parking for 2 more cars), washer and dryer are all available for your use. Room for a boat trailer.

Minimum rental age is 25.

Huron Lodge is located 10 miles NW of Wautoma just off Hwy. 73. Conveniently located to many cities –one hour from the Fox Valley, less than 2 hours from Madison. Approximately 2 hours from Milwaukee, you can still get here on Friday after work!

Family weekend

Huron Lodge was perfect for the 8 of us. Wonderful place overlooking the lake. Since we were there in November, having a garage to park vehicles was a bonus. Information and directions from host were thorough and very helpful. Really enjoyed our time there.

I would highly recommend this vacation rental. The location on the water is wonderful and Monica and her husband were delightful to work with. There was something to do for all ages. The lake is clear and great for swimming and boating.

Wonderful time

Spent 3 nights at the Huron Lodge, everything was great. House has all we needed, water was crystal clear and calm, weather was amazing! The only thing needed a little more attention is the beach, it has some dead trees and branches, some old benches thrown there which makes this small area looks not maintained. We still enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding and pier fishing. We all had a great time there.

We stayed here 5 years ago and selected this location again for our family get together. Only disappointment was that the lake levels were high so beach area was under water. We had fun anyway and enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend.

This was a great place and we enjoyed our stay so much we are already talking about when we can return. The only thing that was disappointing to us (and it’s very minor!) is that the primary dishes were not microwave friendly. Everything else was great!

Family fun

We had a wonderful time at Huron Lodge. There was plenty of space for 9 adults and 2 kids to sleep and play. The outdoor deck provided a perfect viewing spot of the pier. Several fish were caught (and released) from the pier. We enjoyed using the water toys. Although the water level was high and the water was chilly we had a great time. The dining table had plenty of space for indoor games played during the two days of rain. Thank you for your hospitality.

This property was perfect for our Memorial Day Weekend getaway. The home was clean, organized and comfortable. We fit 10 adults comfortably. Having the host close by was helpful and she was very responsive. Plenty of supplies on site (garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo & conditioner, soap, etc). Having washer and dryer available was great. We loved the fire pit, boats and games. Highly recommend!

Spacious home, came with an absolutely amazing view, secluded from neighbors but close enough to town that you can do an easy grocery run every morning. Owners were communicative and very helpful. Would love another tip sometime!

This home was beautiful, comfy, very clean, and had everything we needed... including the perfect layout for 3 families with the loft, main, and lower levels! Our host Monica was very responsive and helpful both before our trip and during our stay; she took time to collect specific details about the seating as it related to my 90-year old father so we could adequately prepare, and expressed other concerns about his comfort and safety as we were arriving. Great property and host!

Our family has been coming up to the Wautoma Area for 35 years and this cabin was our favorite. Monica and Dan were amazing hosts and have thought of everything. The cabin itself was very clean and well stocked with everything you could need. The lake is very clear and we loved swimming in it even though the water level was high. Extended Family Getaway

Overall the property was just as described. Monica & Dan were quick to respond with any questions that we had leading up to and during our stay. Perfect for our family vacation

This was a great location and the house is set up so well for families with a diverse range of ages and sleeping arrangements. The kitchen is well equipped and has a great supply of dishes and tableware suitable for children as well. We had a fun time catching lots of fish off the dock and swimming in the quiet lake. Overall a wonderful family vacation experience!

Great end to the school year!

Huron Lodge was a great destination for our 8th grade class trip! Students were entertained by the water equipment and the great fishing right off of the dock as well as the many amenities inside the house. Monica was a great communicator, even letting us know we would want to steer clear of some road construction. Our group would highly recommend Huron Lodge for any small group gathering!

Your hosts of Huron Lodge, Monica and Dan Trudell, live right next door. We bought our property in 1988 when our oldest child was a baby. Our family has grown up here, spending many summers on the lake. In 2013 we decided to sell our house in the Madison area, build a house and make Huron Lake our permanent home. We love this lake and want to share it with you.

Why they chose this property

When the opportunity presented itself to purchase the property immediately next door, we jumped on it. Having been on this lake for over 35 years, we love the area and being able to 'get away from it all' while still being in close proximity to Wautoma and a number of great recreational and dining offerings.
