The location of the property is serene and breathtaking. The farmhouse itself neat and clean. It was exactly what my family needed for a short getaway.
We enjoyed staying in this relaxing cozy apartment, surrounded by lawns, with great views of the valley and mountains. It is very close to Luray caverns and SkyLine road and trails.
Beautiful area! Loved sitting on the porch with our morning coffee and seeing the mountains and the cattle grazing in the fields. Nice apartment, very comfortable. Wonderful host.
Conveniently located and charming apartment in picturesque farm surroundings
We had a great stay. We enjoyed having the cows surrounding us nearly 365 degrees. The apartment was the perfect size for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Easy check in and check out and good communication from the owner. Convenient to Luray and Shenandoah National Park.
My family and I had a lovely stay here for a long weekend in June. The property manager came to greet us upon our arrival. The house had everything we needed for our time. We all enjoyed seeing the beautiful Mountain View’s and the cows on the property.

Beautiful relaxing setting
Thank you for the great accomodations once again. Our second visit here within two months. We are looking forward to our next stay. It is great to watch the sun rise out the back and the beautiful sunsets out the front windows. A perfect setting.
Our stay at Spring Cliffs Farm was wonderful. Its location is beautiful. We enjoyed its peaceful surrounding landscape and their lovely cows.
It was very easy to check in, the unit was clean and true to its posting. The hostess, Deborah communicated well with us from the beginning and gave very clear instructions. She checked in with us after we checked-in, and again in the mid-point of our stay to see if we were doing okay.
We highly recommend the hostess and her family’s farm.
We can't wait to return! What a beautiful location and lovely host! Debbie is friendly and accessible. The apartment was well-stocked, very private, and beautifully situated. It's an old building, so don't expect modern design. But who needs a dishwasher to drown out the soft lowing of the cows outside your windows! Thank you, Debbie.
The host was very responsive! We had issues with the Wi-Fi and she quickly came to resolve the issue! And we had good cell service/data as well.
The farm was beautiful! I enjoyed morning coffee while watching the sunrise from the porch a couple of mornings. Loved getting to watch sunset out the window while eating dinner or reclining on one of the chairs.
There were calves this time of year which were fun to watch.
A short drive to the town of Luray and an Easy drive to SNP.
Would stay again. :)
Wow, what an amazing stay. The view was outstanding, pictures do not do justice! You need to catch the sunrise AND sunset on the property at least once.
The cows surrounding the property is an added bonus. We loved watching them roam around or taking a swim in the creek. We were also lucky enough to see 2 bald eagles and a huge owl (new for us).
The interior of the home was clearly not modern day style, but had a perfect home-y feel and was extremely clean. We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals all over and none of them were ever this clean.
Debbie was very responsive and prompt. We were able to talk to her for a bit in person and she gave us the run down of some of the best spots on the property.
If this review itself doesn’t convince you to stay here, then you’re truly missing out on a gem!

Perfect country get-away! 5 *
The Cottage we rented was beautiful - so welcoming and relaxing! The owner was very nice and made sure we had a list of handy local numbers and left a whole binder of brochures for nearby entertainment. The home itself was full of lovely vintage decor, well organized and easy to figure out - even for a first-time visitor. She even left delicious muffins to welcome us. Definite 5 stars and I'd recommend her property to anyone staying in Luray VA.

An amazing getaway!
The drive along a quaint gravel road with vast views of pastures, cattle, and the mountains was the first impression as I ventured off the main road to a tucked away treasure. The apartment was in its own fenced in area that was perfect for my German Shepherd to run free. The living area was spacious...Enough for yoga. Plus there was a full kitchen with plenty of items to cook in, plus a full sized washer and dryer when I had to towel off my dog from the outside weather. I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone who needs a convenient escape to the country with the Shenandoah National Park and the Luray Caverns nearby.

A tranquil home base for your Shenandoah Valley vacation
We absolutely adored the tranquility and peace at the Spring Cliff Farm loft. From the moment we arrived (greeted by the cows and the farm dog), the place felt like home. Charmingly furnished, with coffee, tea, water and pastries awaiting you, the apartment makes relaxation easy. The kitchen is stocked with everything you might need, and the owners were quick to provide a hair dryer when I needed one. My only quibble is with the bed. It was exceedingly firm, which made the nights a little less restful than they might have been. But the cows lulled me back to sleep when the bed woke me up, so I suppose it all evened out. Don't hesitate to book! A real gem.

Perfect location, great views, nice and peaceful place at affordable price
This loft is peaceful and isolated yet you are only few miles away from grocery stores, fast food restaurants. We loved our stay here. It is located on farm and we liked sitting on patio with amazing farm and mountain views. Hosts are very welcoming. To get started, we were provided with water, coffee and scones. This place has wifi. We rarely used it but its good to have an option. Their pet dog Oliver was very friendly and he followed us all the time while walking around the farm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if we decide to go back to Shanendoah National Park , we will definitely go to this place.

Comfortable and Relaxing
The accommodations were great and plenty of room for our family of 4. The beds and living room furniture are very comfortable, my wife loved the couch! Kitchen is fully equipped to cook meals, especially if trying to vacation on a budget.
The hostess was so accommodating to let us come a day early due to some impending snow. Glad we did...we awoke to snow covered hills that we were able to spend the day sledding!
Would highly recommend!
About the host
Hosted by Deborah Long
In 1908, Spring Cliff Farm was given as a wedding gift to Bessie Jane and Arthur W. Long. The bride named her new home after the beautiful stone cliffs and natural springs on the property.
Today the 200 acre farm is enjoyed and cared for by third, fourth and fifth generation descendants.
