Entschleunigt in Bosa - sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir hatten eine sehr gute Zeit in Bosa und haben uns in dem schönen Altstadthaus in der Via Carmine sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist fantastisch. Man ist in nur einer Minute mitten drin im Leben von Bosa, Restaurants, Geschäfte etc. sind gleich um die Ecke und wenn man seine Ruhe haben möchte, setzt man sich einfach auf die Dachterrasse und genießt von dort das Geschehen und die tolle Aussicht. Wie auch andere schon vor uns geschrieben hatten, es braucht etwas Zeit, um sich an das Leben auf fünf Ebenen und die steilen Treppen zu gewöhnen, aber nachdem uns das gelungen war, war für uns alles bestens. Das Haus ist hübsch, aber einfach eingerichtet. Die Betten sind bequem, es gibt Stauraum in Schränken bzw. Regalen und Kommoden und, was wirklich wichtig ist, auf drei der vier Etagen jeweils eine Toilette und ein Waschbecken. Natürlich gibt es auch noch ein Badezimmer, in dem neben einer kleinen Dusche auch noch ein Bidet, ein großes Waschbecken sowie die gut funktionierende Waschmaschine zu finden sind. An heißen Tagen bleibt es in der Küche im Erdgeschoss und im ersten Stock angenehm kühl. Für die erste Etage hätten wir uns ein Sofa statt der zwei Korbstühle gewünscht. Dann wäre diese Etage ein perfekter Ort zum Lesen und Abhängen während der Mittagspause gewesen. In den oberen Räumen kann man nachts gut lüften, außerdem gab es Ventilatoren. Die Kommunikation mit Federico hat via WhatsApp super geklappt. Vielen Dank nochmal für das Organisieren der Zweitschlüssel!

Nice place

Federico's house is very charming and modernised in an elegant way. It's right in the old part of Bosa in a small street full of plants in front of the houses. The rooms are seperated on three floors and you have to climb up high stairs to get from the kitchen to the last bedroom.

Mitten in der Altstadt, mit freundlichen Nachbarn und nahe zu allen notwendigen Versorgungseinrichtungen ist das Haus ein Erlebnis authentischen Lebens in einem Bosa-Altstadthaus. Sehr netter Kontakt zum Vermieter.

Enjoyable stay but extreme care is required when using stairs

Enjoyable stay. Host gave great suggestions for restaurants. I would suggest some minor upgrades such as fresher/newer sheets and towels and making the terrace more pleasant. One downside was that the hot water lasted for one shower. That was fine if not in a hurry for a second shower. We did not cook but the kitchen was well equipped. Wifi worked well, modem could be switched from room to room. Location was excellent, we found parking nearby wirhout difficulty.

Schön gelegene und gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Aufgrund der steilen, offenen Treppen für Familien mit kleinen Kindern eher nicht geeignet.

Lovely place

Lovely little place in a perfect location! We enjoyed our stay very much :) Federico helped us with all our questions. Loved the old house and the little alley, like in an Italian Movie. One two minutes by foot from all the nice places in bosa. The beds could be a bit softer and nicer and parking is a few steps away.

Excellent séjour dans cette maison traditionnelle de Bosa

Très bel appartement, vraiment typique de l'habitat tout en hauteur de Bosa. Très bien situé dans la ville, dans une rue calme mais pleine de vie. Nous n'avons manqué de rien; l'appartement est propre, très bien équipé (attention, prévoir qu'il n'y a pas de four ou de micro onde), joliment meublé (à la sarde) et, le top, c'est l'apéritif à faire sur le toit terrasse en fin de journée ! Inoubliable ! Excellente réactivité de notre hôte Federico et de Katia. Nous avons passé un très excellent séjour !

Beautiful Bosa - full of life

We have been "fans" of Bosa for about 15 years, but now - after lots of short trips - we spent our first long term holiday there. We lived in Federico's house with our two kids for almost three weeks. It is a typical Bosa house, very narrow, with steep stairs and old furniture. If you're looking for a typical holiday home, like the ones rented by agencies, then go look somewhere else. Federico's house has a special atmosphere, and after getting used to its flaws and impractical sides, we felt very comfortable and "at home" there, especially on the roof terrace. In the old town the nights can get very loud and lively in July and August, but we enjoyed being part of real Bosa life. It's also a good spot to reach all the beaches or the nice mountain villages like Modolo and Cuglieri. We have also made day trips to Alghero and Cagliari. So we can definitely recommend the house to anybody who wants to have a special Sardinia holiday. The children shouldn't be too small though, otherwise the stairs will give you nightmares... Thanks a lot to Federico and Katia for the great communication and hospitality.

great stay

We had a great time in Bosa in Frederico's house. The location is in the middle of Bosa with a nice view from to terrace to the Castle. Be aware the stairs are steep and looong in the house. So make sure not to forget anything in the kitchen when you eat on the roof terrace. The house was cosy and clean. We enjoyed the time in the house very much and we can recommend to stay here!

Lovely old town house in the heart of Bosa

This old town house is right in the hear of the ancient town of Bosa, within a very short stroll to lovely local sights, great bars and excellent restaurants. In fact, the road the house is located on is something of a tourist attraction itself, being cobbled and with many old and attractive buildings. The house itself is simply, but perfectly adequately, equipped and is very clean and well presented. The owner is very friendly, quick to reply to questions and keen to make sure that everything is how it should be. As others have mentioned, there are VERY steep stairs between the floors and dining on the lovely roof terrace is a challenge as everything must be carried up and down those stairs. The view of the castle from there though is well worth the effort. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend the house to anyone sufficiently fit to manage those stairs.

Maison typique, localisation parfaite

Maison typique de Bosa, toute en hauteur, dans le cœur historique de la ville. La maison est très bien située, avec des commerces accessibles à pieds en 5 minutes, du stationnement gratuit à proximité, dans une ruelle charmante. Bosa est une ville adorable, à visiter absolument, et cette location nous a vraiment permis d'en profiter sur plusieurs jours. La maison est sur plusieurs niveaux (rez-de-chaussée + 3 étages+ 1 terrasse), ce qui nous a surpris au début mais ne pose pas de problème à l'usage car chaque chambre dispose d'un lavabo et de toilettes. Attention toutefois pour les familles avec enfants en bas-âge : l'escalier est très raide. L'aménagement est simple mais nous n'avons manqué de rien (sauf peut-être d'un four ou au moins d'un micro-ondes). Nous n'avons pas vu Federico mais avons échangé avec lui par messages et ses indications étaient très précises et sympathiques. Nous recommandons vivement cette location !

Ein wunderschönes Haus mitten in der wunderschönen Altstadt von Bosa.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden und es hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Küche ist gut, das obere Zimmer sehr schön, genügend Bäder hat es auch und viele schöne, fast antike Möbel. Auch die Terrasse ist wunderbar. Wir hätten aber 2, 3 Anregungen: Das untere Zimmer ist ebenfalls sehr schön, bräuchte aber 2 neue Betten, anstelle der Campingbetten und dem Sonnenschirm auf der Terrasse fehlt ein Ständer. Eventuell sollten auch Küchenutensilien wieder einmal überprüft werden, besonders ein paar zusätzliche Weingläser wären nicht schlecht.

Wir waren vollkommen zufrieden und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Haus ist sehr authentisch und hat alles was mann braucht.An das Treppen steigen gewöhnt man sich sehr schnell, wir haben alle Mahlzeiten auf der Dachterasse genossen, obwohl 4 Stockwerke von der Küche aus zu überwinden sind. So verdient man sich die ganzen Leckereien. Die Sardischen Nachbarn sind nett und hilfsbereit. Für uns gab es keinen Grund irgendetwas zu bemängeln.
