About this property

Villa Parthenope, a 17th-century villa, has been recently renovated with care and tastefully decorated. It perches in a peaceful and quiet spot, yet is centrally located in Positano. Hospitality is offered in a pleasant apartment, Casa Leucosia, on the ground floor down about 30 steps from the road.
The apartment is independent and allows privacy. One of the great advantages of the villa is that a car is not required. The apartment is located a 5-minute walk uphill from the celebrated chic boutiques, restaurants and bars of Positano. Fifteen minutes walk downhill takes the visitor to the main beach.
Casa Leucosia (sleeps 4) has an entrance leading into the large living/dining room, which is furnished in a charming style with white-washed walls, terra cotta tiled floors, wooden table and chairs, comfortable sofa, air conditioning, WiFi, TV LCD and 2 French windows opening onto the balcony, which runs the length of the apartment and faces a truly picture-perfect view of the sea and Positano. The kitchen is cheerful, compact and efficient, with refrigerator, stove with 3 gas burners, oven and microwave oven. There is a separate powder room with washing machine. The upper level (10 steps) has 2 double bedrooms with vaulted ceilings, each with en suite bathroom (both with shower).
Another great advantage of Casa Leucosia: private stairs which, through the garden, lead directly to the beach in less than 5 minutes.

Positano

Beautiful clean place in great location. Right next door to La Sirenuse with private steps towards the beach. Close to coffee shops and little grocer store. Great communication loved our stay

Great location ,Very quiet with a lovely view

We really enjoyed our stay at Pietro Paulo's apartment. The location was terrific. Right next door to La Sirenuse at the front door, and back garden had steps down into the middle of town without having to go back up to the street. It was a really quiet spot which we liked very much. We have stayed at other properties before, and didn't sleep well because of the noise. But not here. The view was lovely- out across the church to the water, and also opposite at all the coloured houses that Positano is famous for. Pietro Paulo was a great host, who gave us many tips on things to do and places to eat. We had a great chat when we arrived.He even made a booking for us at a restaurant that was difficult to get into (and we couldn't get booking for). His houskeeper Anna Maria was also lovely. The bedrooms and loungeroom were spacious, and we loved having our breakfast and evening drinks on the great balcony with view. The kitchen was small, and you probably would not want to cook a meal in it, but being on the doorstep of such lovely restaurants, and nearby to a deli for take away meals, we didn't bother cooking at all. Amazing apartment in a fantastic location

We can't say enough good things about this apartment. It was extremely comfortable, beautifully decorated, in a perfect location and was very very clean! It is beautifully presented and has absolutely everything you could want for a comfortable stay. The owner Pierpaolo was very helpful and a real pleasure to communicate with throughout the booking process and our stay. We would defintely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Magnificent villa in the heart of Positano

A girlfriend and I stayed at Casa Leucosia for 11 nights in October. What a find!! 2 spacious bedrooms upstairs, each with a lovely bathroom, and a lovely living room downstairs, with a couch, table and chairs, a small well equipt kitchen and another bathroom/laundry. A huge balcony runs the length of the villa and the view is to die for. We spent most of our time out there, relaxing on the lounges or enjoying a meal at the table and chairs, just taking in the magic view. It truly is magnificent and I will never stay anywhere else when I visit here again. The villa is beautifully maintained, and cleaned by a wonderful local lady by the name of Anna- Maria, she was just lovely to deal with, was there to meet us when we arrived, and made us feel so very welcome. We met Pierpaulo, the owner, a day or so after we arrived. The villa has been in his family for a very long time, and he can tell you anything you need to know about Positano and her surrounds, local restaurants, bars, nearby places to visit etc. Such a delightful person to deal with, we almost felt like family. In my opinion, the villa is in the perfect position. Any lower down and you miss out on the amazing views, and any higher up, too many stairs to climb up, to get home after dinner by the sea. You can meander down through the village to get to the beach, passing lovely little shops and cafes on the way, or there is a private staircase that is quicker, that takes you directly to the beach. The bus stop is a short stroll up the hill, where you can go to the beautiful towns of Amalfi, Ravello and Sorrento (Pompeii from Sorrento). Bus travel is very cheap, and they are all airconditioned, very comfortable coaches. You can of course also catch the ferry, which we found a lot more expensive, but a boat trip around these parts is pretty special. We found many fabulous restaurants, cafes and bars. Our favourite restaurants were, Collina café (just down the road), Ristorante La Cambusa, Capricci and Caffe Positano (on the other side of Positano, but what a view). The bar you must have a drink at, or cake and coffee, is La Zagara. The villa is also next door to the magnificent Le Sireneuse Hotel, a meal here is a must!! If you are lucky enough to spend time in this most magic of magic places, I cannot recommend this villa enough. My home away from home, and my favourite place in the world. Fantástico!

Localização Top , camas muito confortáveis , apartamento com vistas muito agradáveis, a casa tem duas casas de banho completas e uma de serviço , uma das casas de banho completa não tem agua quente , embora pouco foi necessário pois após uma boa caminhada no mês de agosto chegávamos a casa sempre acalorados . A Dna. Maria Dolores foi muito prestável e de ótima comunicação , e anfitrião esteve sempre em comunicação , em resumo : muito bom , alojamento altamente recomendado

Excellent location and the size of balcony and villa were great. Sat on the balcony for hours overlooking the harbor. Has everything you need to get prepared food from the deli and bring it back and heat up later

Gorgeous villa in beautiful Positano!

During our stay in Positano, Italy, we experienced a wonderful time at a beautiful villa located in the heart of the town. The host and property manager were amazing, providing exceptional service and assistance with our needs and any special circumstances that arose. Amazing View!

This is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for a great location and a beautiful view. Every morning we would make our coffee and sit on the deck to watch the sea. So relaxing! A small grocery store is nearby to get your food items and great restaurants nearby. Lemon and apricot trees in the backyard. Pietro, Marco and Maria were gracious hosts and very responsive. Casa Leaucosia had everything we needed but I might bring a fan next time as it can get quite warm in late afternoon.

Great Location!!

The property was spotless and comfortable. Our only complaint is that the apartment is listed as 2 bath but only one shower was usable. The shower attached to the twin bedroom flooded the entire bathroom. The property manager said she was aware that it had some problems. We wouldn’t have booked this apartment if we had known about the shower issue .

May 2024 Positano

The villa was exactly as described. Clean, great help from the manager and beautiful views. It's low enough for a reasonable walk to the port/beach but high enough for easy access to the central town. Positano is a beautiful city with friendly people. You do need some energy as the traveling around requires climbing many stairs or winding up switchback roads. Highly recommended.

Wonderful place and host

Our family of four loved our stay in this beautiful apartment. Marco was the perfect host and provided lots of wonderful information about the area. He even gave us a ride to the train station at the end of our visit. We see him as a future lifetime friend. Maria was also very helpful and kind. Positano is a dream and so is this place.

Lovely villa in Positano

The property was beautiful, with a large deck that was private but overlooking the town. I can't say enough about how beautiful it was. So much more space than a hotel. Check in was easy, Maria Delores was so sweet and knowledgeable about the area. We cooked some of our meals in the kitchen and it had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was also very easy, and we had no issues. Highly recommend!

Memorable Stay

We had wonderful stay at Casa Leucosia. The villa is beautiful and located perfectly in the heart of Positano. Pietro, the owner and staff were excellent and exceeded our expectations. Clean, near all the best restaurants and beach. Highly recommend. We miss it every day since we returned home.

Perfect location to enjoy all of Positano

We had a wonderful week-long stay in July. The villa is clean and well equipped. Location couldn't be better, as you are right on the main road to walk to restaurants, and have a private stairway down to the main beach.

What a great location, great view and amazing place to stay. I am putting it out to my friends who visit Positano to look stay there! The private staircase down to the beach didn't seem like a shortcut the 1st day, but it sure did on the eighth day!..lol. Highly recommend!

Perfect location with amazing views in a comfortable Positano apartment

The whole process was very easy and Pierpaolo was extremely responsive and even arranged for transportation for us from Naples with very short notice. The apartment was lovely and it was spotless when we arrived. Sitting on the long terrace with the amazing views of both the sea and the town was an unforgettable experience. I would say the only thing that detracted from a perfect experience was the shower - very small and almost impossible to use without flooding the area around it. It is a small detail though, and we highly recommend this property. Thank you!

Perfect Place to Stay in Positano

Casa Leucosia was the perfect place to stay in Positano. The location is great - overlooking The Church of Santa Maria Assunta, the sea and the Positano hillside, with easy access to everything. The accommodations were lovely and functional. The property manager was extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions, driver contact info and local tour information. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly to others!

A10 for location, terrace, the villa overall. Very small kitchen that desperately needs a overhaul, great bathrooms (but bad showers). We would stay there again because of the amazing terrace…with the perfect view.

Great apartment and perfect location

10 night stay. Perfect location. Close to all the action but also very quiet and peaceful. Incredible views. Was just two of us and the apartment was very comfortable. Extra bedroom was nice to keep our things, as was having two full baths. Wifi was great. Found the bed to be comfortable. Bathrooms and kitchen are small but not anything unusual for Europe and did not hinder anything. We made breakfast in the apartment every morning. grocery store a few min walk. short cut stairway to the main beach/port area very useful. We didn't reach out much but when we did manager was very responsive. In summary we were thrilled with the apartment. You never really know until you arrive. Perfect location in Positano in the heart of the action, but very peaceful which is hard to find, amazing views, comfortable apartment. Would definitely stay here again.
