Ideally located at the foot of the hills of Marcel Pagnol, very quiet, comfortable, tastefully decorated, near Marseille, Aix en Provence, Aubagne, creeks etc.entouré a garden, in an atmosphere of calm and comfort. Upon request, possibility of breakfast on the terrace in the garden (jams "home"), to dinner at a local cuisine to taste specialties of the day and "home".

An absolutely lovely escape from the city

This is a simply amazing place to stay and unwind for a bit. Beautiful garden, amazing room, on a quiet street but with an excellent bakery nearby.

Great stay at «La Chambre Mauve»

Truly a wonderful place to stay! Close to transportation into the Marseille area, and in a beautiful scenic area, we were amazed by Alice's hospitality. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommend this accommodation, and if we are ever in the area again we hope to return!

Lovely lady!

We had a very pleasant stay with Alice! Very accommodating, great cook and hostess! House is spotless and filled in every nook and cranny with interesting regional treasures. Would not hesitate to stay again if we find ourselves in this area of France in the future! The cat and the frogs were charming too.

Sweet Gite

Alice’s BandB is not far from Marseilles - but relaxing in her lovely garden makes you feel as though you are in the country. Alice is very kind and solicitous of her guests and her cooking is absolutely marvelous. Fortunately Alice warned us of a mosquito problem and we were able to pick up some spray at the local pharmacie. We had a very nice stay and extend our thanks to Alice.

Peaceful getaway

We had such a lovely stay at Alice’s B&B. The location was peaceful and calm but also close to attractions in Marseilles and along the coast. Communication with the host was excellent from the time we booked until our departure. Alice gave us so many excellent recommendations and tips for making the most of our time in the area. She is so knowledgeable and had excellent suggestions for places to take kids, things to do on very hot days, and tips on where to park (so helpful!). Our young daughter loved staying here - swimming in the pool and reading and learning some French words from Alice were highlights. We felt right at home and the breakfasts were wonderfully delicious and so special to enjoy in the incredible garden. I cannot recommend this location highly enough and I hope we will have a chance to come and stay again soon. Thank you!

Three of us stayed with Alice for the weekend to visit Marseille for the England match at the Rugby World Cup. Alice is a wonderful host and lovely lady. She provided breakfast each day and we loved the fact that preserves/jams/marmalade were made from fruit grown either in her garden or locally. She couldn't do enough to make our short visit a very pleasant experience. We have nothing but praise for Alice and her cat, Boyette (I hope the spelling is correct). Welcoming Garden Home

Alice was very kind, friendly, hospitable, welcoming, and communicative. She made our stay very smooth and easy. She provided a nice fresh breakfast as requested. The accommodations were clean and quaint. She had a beautiful garden backyard with a cool pool to dip in during the hot weather. We enjoyed this property very much, however getting adequate sleep was difficult due to the lack of air conditioning or fans. Also there were a lot of mosquitoes that we were unprepared for. These things could easily be fixed with some dedicated incense and/or AC/fans.

cette petite maison est tres typique, son jardin est tres accueillant et notre hote tres sympatique. toujours disponible elle parle avec entrain de sa région qui est tres riche en endroit sympatique a visiter. personnellement j'etais interressée par le site de Marcel Pagnol.

Schönes Objekt mit idyllischem Garten und freundlichem Host

Sehr schönes Haus oberhalb von Marseille. Nebem einem eigenen Raum mit grossem Bett und eigenem Bad teilten wir das Wohnzimmer sowie ein schöner, grosser Garten mit Alice. Aus diesem stammen teils selber zu Konfitüre verarbeitete Früchte welche zum Frühstück gehören. Alice ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und liess und unser Gepäck vor dem Check-in lagern und hat uns diverse Unternehmenstipps gegeben. Merci et a bientot! Tipp: Mückenspray mitbringen. Am Abend sind die Mücken im Garten aggressiv, im Zimmer gibt es Insektennetze am Fenster.

Chaleureux accueil d'Alice et ses très bons conseils pour les activités dans les environs sont très appréciables. Le cadre est magnifique. Endroit idéal pour se ressourcer

Séjour de 4 jours dans un cadre bien ainsi que agréable, très verdoyant et très calme donc très appréciable. L'accueil est très chaleureux et l'on se sent tout de suite à l'aise. Nous avons apprécié chaque matin les petits déjeuners très variés et les fous rires et échanges avec la maitresse de maison ainsi que tous les conseils et informations donnés .Merci à elle.

Le séjour chez Alice c’est très bien passé, elle nous a parfaitement accueilli dans sa maison avec son magnifique jardin. Elle donne de bon conseil pour visiter la ville est ses environs. Ein Ruhepol, wenn man angekommen ist.

Die Gastgeberin Alice ist sehr freundlich zu ihren Gästen, kann viele nützliche Informationen geben bei einem hausgemachten Aperitif. Der schöne Garten ist eine Oase. Man kommt am besten in der warmen Jahreszeit.

Un super endroit pour visiter les environs

Très bon weekend chez Alice ! L'appartement au rez-de-chaussée de la maison est confortable, avec tout ce qu'il faut et plein de petites attentions / du soin apporté à tout. Mentions spéciales pour : - le jardin, qui est très beau et sûrement très agréable pour les jours de beau temps ;) - les petits déjeuners, qui sont chaque jour une surprise et faits avec beaucoup d'amour ! Des découvertes de confitures faites maison, des petits déjeuners différents chaque jour avec une partie cuisinée par Alice. Merveilleux séjour

un petit paradis

Merci Alice pour votre merveilleux accueil et votre grand cœur! nous avons passé 4 jours dans un véritable paradis, votre jardin est un havre de paix où chaque petit coin ruisselle de poésie et toutes ces fleurs c'est tellement joli!!! Le logement est tout douillet, on se sent bien chez vous dès que l'on ouvre la porte, tout est beau , rempli d'histoires et de souvenirs! Vous êtes un guide ouvert de bons conseils sur votre région et encore merci pour tous vos bonnes idées! Et encore un grand merci pour les belles attentions envers nos 3 enfants qui gardent de très beaux souvenirs de leurs vacances! Et bien-sûr bravo pour votre cuisine merveilleuse et vos ptits dèj au top!!!
