Tahoe Monopalooza stay

Great location, nice rustic cabin like feel. A bit dark, lacking lights but comfortable rooms. Cooking facilities were pretty good. The club house facility was top notch with hot tub, sauna and ping pong enjoyed every night. Some of the lights like master not working well. Would be nice if extra towels were provided for hot tub. Didn’t get info about check in until right before we arrived. That said it was fantastic for our group celebrating our mono ski convention in Tahoe

Disappointment

Very rundown. Screens broken, old bedding and towel, some electrical outlets not working. Terrible lighting in living room and master bedroom. We have stayed at Forest Pines for years. This owner doesn’t seem to want to fix or update his property. No ceiling fans. $1900 for 6 nights was not a deal.

Great Value!

This was one of the best values you'll find in Incline. We needed almost as many rooms as we had people, and this was the perfect setup!

4 Nights Stay

This location worked very well for us. It's quiet and a very nice condo complex. You can walk to a few restaurants. Grocery store nearby. You are close to where you can rent bikes. The home was great for us. Looked like pictures on VRBO. Screen to sliding glass door in front room was ripped along most of the frame. Mosquitos come in. Kitchen great, beds comfy, nice community pool and indoor jacuzzi. Owner responsive. We were disappointed we didn't get passes to the very close private beach. Call the owner way ahead of time (not message through VRBO) if you want passes. Sand Harbor about 4 miles away. Beautiful but have to go early due to crowds. We would stay here again! Thank you!

Quiet Neighborhood/Easy walk to restaurants but Disappointing

My husband and I have stayed at around 20 vacation rentals over the years and this is the first where we were overall disappointed. First positives-Very quiet neighborhood, easy to get around, and 15 min walk to restaurants, Starbucks, and bike rental. Now our concerns- We booked back in Oct 2022. My failure to go back to that booking message caused an issue with checking in. I have never had a host not reach out in the week prior to a stay with a message. No our lock box code was in the message from Oct (really hoping he assigned our unique code in Oct and it's not the same that whole time). Second, the place wasn't cleaned from the previous guest. When I called he told me I could change all the sheets myself and clean (the only cleaning solution on site was Windex) and no vacuum to clean up all the hair. It was so gross. Note: He did finally give us a refund for one night, but it was absolutely disgusting. We tried to stay somewhere else, but there wasn't anything available nearby. Cleaning service did come the next day and they did do a good job. The place needs about $750 put into it for new bedding and towels. Bedspreads had noticeable stains, are very worn, the bedding is all mismatched, and towels were scratchy and threadbare. Communication was frustrating. Host did not respond to any message in the app during the stay, so make sure you call/text his personal number if you have a question.

Great place to stay

My family and I enjoyed staying here. Everything was clean and comfortable. It’s not exactly modern inside, but no one minded. It felt like staying at your grandma’s cabin-in a good way! Very close to hiking trails and the facility has a pool, spa, and sauna. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it.

Perfect Location in Incline Village

Super cute condo near beautiful Lake Tahoe. Enjoyed cabin feel of large main room and had plenty of space in the 3 bedrooms. It was also a treat to have the master bedroom on the main level. We did not cook but there was plenty of space in kitchen (table, fridge, countertops) if we had. The location was PERFECT. We could walk to the beach, the casino, coffee shops, grocery & gift stores, and restaurants/bars. We were in town for a wedding at the Chateau (which was gorgeous inside and a lot of fun) . Found time to hike (including Monkey Rock) and really take in the awesome-ness of the area. Thanks for sharing your home - it is cute, cozy and perfectly located.

Good value for skiing at Diamond Peak

Large house with fireplace, kitchen, and 3 bedrooms. A separate place for ski gear would have been great. All in all ok but everything is a little dated. So not the fanciest of places but great value. We stayed for two weeks with our two kids and had a great time

Adequate but could use improvements

The property was adequate, and we would stay there again, most likely. However, it is very basic with few, if any, extras provided by similarly located condos. Also, there is a rodent problem. A live mouse was actually spotted in the kitchen, which certainly freaked out one of the guests!

Quiet and comfy

This was a great spot for a quiet week of downtime with the family. It is not "new and updated" which is just fine with me. It has a cozy feel. Plenty of room for our family and the kitchen was stocked with enough tools that we could cook without too much trouble.

Simple process and awesome communication

Host was very easy to get in touch with and responded appropriately. Clean quiet neighborhood but was pulled over the first 5 minutes in town. The cop just asked us where we were going and why we were in town… other than that it was a very nice place to stay.

Warm and great location!

We stayed here during a snowstorm, and we loved how warm and comfortable this place was. A snow plow came every morning and cleared the parking lot, so it was easy for us to get out and drive around town. This is a great location. Very close to beautiful walking paths and beach access! There is a lot of space, so it was great for our family during the holidays. Thank you! **Just a few easy things to fix - a few light bulbs were out and batteries needed to be replaced in the remotes.

Great location in Incline

My family of 5 had a relaxing few days here. The place was clean and comfortable. It’s located within walking distance of the beach which is awesome. It also has a nice covered porch area that we sat out on and watched some late July thunderstorms.

Cute, comfy, and close to the lake

Clean and comfortable. Easy walk to the lake, and they had some beach chairs to use. However beach access is not included in the rent and must be purchased separately. At $15/person/day, we found the price too expensive for our family of five, so we drove south to another beach we could hike to for free. Bummed that a guest pass wasn’t provided with rental but still enjoyed our stay. There were some signs of wear and age like bent blinds or worn toilet seat, but everything functioned well and we liked the property and location. Can’t comment on the pool because we did not use it. It had limited hours due to COVID (10-6). Check in was easy. Would recommend.

Great house in a great location

Paul and Cynthia has been wonderful communicating about the checkin process, beach access, etc. The house was clean and welcoming. Kitchen had all the utensils, dishwasher, plates, cups, glasses and more. There are 3 bedrooms: 2 smaller ones upstairs and master downstairs. 1 full bath upstairs and another in the master. Grocery store is 2 minute drive away as well as many restaurants, gas stations, etc. We had a great time.

Disappointed

While the condo itself was just as advertised, we were denied access to the pool, sauna and hot tub. We were told the homeowners board no longer allows short term renters, like VRBO renters, to use these facilities. Also, the lake is nearby and beautiful, but if you want to use the local beach you'll have to pay $15 per day for each adult and $5 per child and you'll need to place funds in escrow ahead of time with the owner to get the passes. Very disappointing as we didn't find that part out until after we paid for the booking.
