'La Casina' is a nice house was born from the renovation of the old barn of the estate 'Of Riggioboli'. A few steps from the large farmhouse where the owners live, 'La Casina' is the ideal place for a holiday to discover Tuscany and all the beauty that our region offers. Equipped with every comfort, the house is renovated and furnished with care. 'La Casina' is the perfect place to spend an unforgettable holiday; major and famous cities are easily accessible by car or train (eg Florence in 20-30 minutes). It is located in the middle of the Chianti Rufina, near the famous Frescobaldi's Nipozzano Castle , 'La Casina' is situated in one of the most important in the world for the production of wine and high quality oil. The owners are small farmers producing olive oil. 'La Casina' can accommodate up to four people, two in the bedroom with bathroom and two more in the sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is well equipped with gas stove, refrigerator, microwave and everything you need to cook in comfort.
The garden and the fields are at your complete disposal, you'll appreciate the flowers, the trees and the atmosphere you'll find at 'La Casina'. Here you can relax yourself, maybe also refreshing in the swimming pool.

Séjour à la casina

Nous avons passé un super séjour de 7 jours dans cette belle petite casa. Nous avons été tellement bien reçus par des hôtes très accueillants. Vacation time in the Tuscany Region

This VRBO and its surroundings are absolutely beautiful. The herbs growing along the wall, the olive trees and beautiful potted flowers just add to the ambiance. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. A rental car is needed for the area.

Un petit coin de paradis

Deuxième séjour dans cette maisonnette pour ma famille . Gianna est discrète et disponible à la fois , très arrangeante et prévenante (légumes et œufs fournis à la demande , petit set de départ bien complet ). La maison est bien équipée pour sa taille la piscine plus grande qu'on ne le croit d'après photo .

Walking Holiday and Touring Holiday

Our host greeted us most warmly and treated us with kindness and consideration throughout our 2 week stay. The pool was very welcome in the warm weather and the accommodation was excellent . We had a lovely holiday .

The nicest host in Italy

What a pleasant and exceptionally helpful host Gianna is. Property is located on a small farm, you will feel part of the family. It is quite compact so really best suited for a couple. Property is ideally placed for travel around Tuscany, esp Florence, . The local train station is only a few kms away. Many thanks Gianna, we especially enjoyed the fresh eggs and Garden produce.

Wundervoll!

Wirklich tolle Unterkunft mit sehr liebenswerter Gastgeberin. Wir waren super zufrieden und haben sogar Salat aus dem eigenen Gemüsegarten bekommen. Bei Ankunft lag alles da für ein Abendessen und sogar eine Flasche Chianti. Den Pool hatten wir ganz für uns, der Garten ist wunderschön! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wunderbar

Wir durften 10 Tage bei Gianna auf ihren Grundstück verbringen .. Sie ist eine tolle Gastgeberin hatte auch für den ersten Tag Verpflegung bereit gestellt .. Wein Spagetti, Olivenöl usw. Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt .. Nur wer was gegen bellende Hunde hat( sie hat eine kleine Zucht mit etwa 20 Hunden ) für denjenigen is es vielleicht nichts.. Uns hat es überhaupt nicht gestört zumal sie ja auch täglich ins Umzäunte Freigelände dürfen.. Ein rundum toller Ort um Urlaub zu machen …

Wunderschön

Wir haben Gianna und ihre Familie in der Vorsaison besucht. Toll, mit wieviel Hingabe und Liebe der Hof gepflegt wird. Das Appartement hat Alles was man braucht. Dank der wunderschönen Umgebung macht sich sofort Urlaubs-Feeling breit. Gianna und ihre Familie ist immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Perfekter Ort zum Herunterfahren!

Wir (2 Personen) waren für knapp 2 Wochen in dem Landhaus und haben es zu 100% genossen! Anreise: "Check-In" war problemlos, alles sehr sauber, insbesondere auch Bad und Küche, alles Wissenswerte gut vorbereitet in einem großen Ordner. Wir kamen an einem Vor-Feiertag, und Gianna - unsere Gastgeberin - hatte vorausschauend ein paar Basics zum Kochen eingekauft, weil ja die Geschäfte nicht offen haben würden - wow! Haus: der Wohn-/Essbereich ist auch der Eingangsbereich - 1 großer Raum mit Couch und Esstisch. Für unseren Aufenthalt im November ein wichtiger Raum; im Sommer wird man sicher mehr draußen sein. Nach oben geht's zur Galerie = Küche. Voll ausgestattet - lediglich einen Backofen gibt es nicht. Wir haben ausgiebig gekocht - Töpfe, Pfannen etc. waren ausreichend vorhanden. Über eine schmale Wendeltreppe geht es nach unten ins Schlafzimmer und ins Bad. Gerade bei der An-/Abreise ist es hilfreich, dass man auch von außen dort hin gelangt; im Alltag bleibt die Treppe - und die ist wirklich schmal. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen; das Bad ist klein aber ausreichend; großzügige Schränke - damit man nicht aus dem Koffer leben muss - sind vorhanden. Umgebung: Man ist "ab vom Schuss"; wir fanden das super. Mit dem Zug ist man von Pontassieve in 20 Minuten mitten in Florenz, ansonsten mit dem Auto schnell "überall". Ausdrücklich hervorzuheben ist die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeberin Gianna. Wir haben viel über den Anbau von Oliven gelernt - vielen Dank auch dafür!

Urlaub in Perlago

Es war ein toller Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Ferienhaus. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hat sich immer gekümmert. Es gab zur Anreise eine Notverpflegung. Sie hat sich ebenfalls liebevoll mit den Kindern beschäftigt, sei es Gemüse ernten oder das Grundstück erkunden. Wir werden nächstes Jahr wiederkommen.

Tuscany in the sun

Gianna &family made us very welcome.The accomadation was very clean and Gianna had arrange fresh flowers for out arrival.The bed is very comfy and the plunge pool was very welcome after a hot day out &about.Gianna was very thoughtful as we arrived Sunday she had left us useful food iterms to make ourselves dinner &breakfast before we got to the shops.During the week she left us fresh egg and vegetables out of her garden. It’s easy to go to Florence by catching the train in the nearby town of Pontassieve &it easy to get on the A1 to visit other Tuscan delights. Pontassieve

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus

Das Haus ist perfekt für zwei Personen und bietet alles, was man sich für einen Urlaub in der Toskana wünschen kann. Alle touristischen Ziele sind gut zu erreichen. Die Vermieterin samt Familie ist sehr herzlich. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Lovely property, great location

My wife and I stayed here on a recent trip to Tuscany. The property is beautiful and quiet and you could not ask for a nicer hostess in Gianna. She gave us fresh eggs from her chickens, rustled up and adapter so we could charge our phones and answered every dumb question we asked. We picked this place because we wanted an easy way into Florence and it is perfect for that. The train station is literally five minutes away and the journey to Florence just 20 minutes. It’s also an easy drive to lots of other Tuscany attractions and hill towns. It’s an affordable family friendly atmosphere. We loved our stay.

Magnifique Toscane

Très bon séjour chez Giana et sa fille Eva grâce à leur accueil chaleureux et à leur disponibilité. Nous avons pu bénéficier de renseignements en français sur nos différentes visites par l'intermédiaire d'Eva et avons profité du joli cadre de la propriété avec ses fleurs et sa piscine. Delightful quiet Tuscany Farm House

We will be back! Gianna and her family made us feel so welcome. Very clean, Comfortable bed, comfortable sofa! Everything is just as described and the family even shared some of their own olive oil from their orchard. Fresh eggs and vegetables at our door were so generous! The turn from the road to the driveway is hard to see but Gianna helped us find it no problem! We will miss the countryside there!

Fantastic!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Our host Gianna was welcoming and so l accommodating ! Gianna had a bottle of Vine and pasta, coffee, milk, water and brought us fresh eggs from her chickens and lettuce from her garden. The property is beautiful! Our stay in Tuscany was all we could of hoped for and more! Thank you fir everything Gianna and family!

Real Toscany experience

I stayed here almost three months. If you want to see real Toscany life, this Is the place to be. Whole family was very kind and helpfull. I did not have a car and I managed very well. There are many amazing hicking paths just nearby (starting from your doorsteps) and very good public transportation to Pontassieve and Florence. If you want to know what Is Toscany life, this Is the place to be. I will certanly come back.
