Lovely spacious quirky property

We have just spent 9 days in Jard-sur-Mer in this lovely property. It is huge. We were a family of grandparents, parents plus a toddler and baby. There is loads of good quality baby equipment so we didn’t need to bring much. The indoor kitchen has every utensil you could think of and there is a fabulous outdoor kitchen/bbq which we used on alternate days to eating out. Pool was delightful if a little cold but we visited in September so to be expected. The house is situated within walking distance of both the town and sea so there are many restaurants on the doorstep. There is also a very busy market on a Monday in the town centre. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

Excellent stay at Murmure des Flots

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jard sur Mere. The house suited our three family stay utilising the three storeys. Francoise was very accommodating as we were late arriving and she ensured we were able to use all facilities before she departed. We were sad to leave but were waved off by a smiling Francoise.

Séjour entre amis avec les enfants

Quelle déception de ne pas pouvoir profiter de la piscine qui avait été l'élément clé de notre choix de vacances. La température était fixée à 26° (qu'on avait jamais...) alors qu'il faisait entre 22 et 24 degrés à l'extérieur. Impossible de se baigner avec les enfants. Les problèmes de plomberies rencontrés et les odeurs du restaurant à côté ne dépendent pas du bon vouloir de la propriétaire... Dernière chose: la connexion internet est très limitée... Il n'est pas concevable de pouvoir compter dessus pour travailler de là-bas!

Super we en famille

We familial excellent, la piscine, la cuisine d'été impeccable. L'aménagement intérieur est parfait, tout y est , de la cafetière nespresso aux pinces pour le crabe. On peut cuisiner (ou pas) patisser( il y a tout ce qu'il faut.) Les chambres sont parfaites, bonne literie. A conseiller

Wonderful property in Jard sur Mer

Well appointed spacious property with bedrooms on each floor. The kitchen was good for those who want to cook for large numbers of people. It was not clear from the Vrbo web site listing that there is an additional charge for towels and linen and a charge for cleaning the property on departure. It was also not clear that a deposit had to be paid on arrival. The deposit is returned on departure. The owner was very helpful and explained these things prior to our arrival in Jard. We did not use the BBQ area but in the summer it would be good to use.

Spacious villa in lovely Vendee seaside town

We were a family of 5 adults and had a great relaxing holiday in this lovely villa in such a nice seaside town with beautiful beaches & cycle paths within very easy reach. The pool was always lovely & warm to return to after our days out.

La maison était ok, la cour/jardin avec la piscine est jolie. - Toutefois, il fallait débarrasser les déchets au port (600m) bien que les déchets des voisins étaient vidés par une élimination des ordures régulièrement - L’odeur du ventilateur du restaurant des grenouilles et poissons à coté et aussi les odeurs de la cuisine dès le matin étaient dérangeants en étant présentes 24/7 - La maison est prévue pour accueillir 12 personnes, à la piscine il n’y avait que 4 canapés - La toilette au rez-de-chaussée a une manque de fonctionnalité - Il y a une croissance de moisissure dans la douche au rez-de-chaussée à cause d’un manque de ventilation - Le rapport qualité-prix n’est pas approprié pour cette région

bien

belle propriété,tout à pied plage commerce,mais nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la totaliter des prestations .(éclairage piscine en panne ,pas d'éclairage autour de la piscine,douche extérieur en panne.Dommage qu'il n'y est pas une plaque de cuisson ainsi que de l'eau chaude au niveau de la cuisine extérieur.(cuisine a l'étage,ce qui oblige à faire des aller retour). Les prestation en options tel que,ménage et draps sont trop cher pour 4jours.(moduler le tarif). Manque de communications concernant les loisirs a faire autour de jard-sur mer. Sinon dans l'ensemble agréable séjour,très belle petite ville. Françoise svp soyer un peu moins éxigeante,à l'arriver d'une grande famille.(propreté,rangement,laisser nous respirer à l'arrivée.)

Fellows annual holiday

The three generations of our family thought the property was great. It is very close to the sea and also just a few minutes to the town. It meant we rarely had to use our cars so it was very relaxing. The pool was a great hit with everyone especially when the temperature rose to the mid 30s. We used the barbecue most nights and it was very well equipped. The people sleeping in the top bedrooms found it very hot and perhaps some fans would be a good addition. We would recommend this house to anyone wanting a happy family holiday.

Super séjour

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cette grande maison nous étions 12 et chacun avait son espace. Tout est à proximité, nous ne nous sommes pas servis de nos voitures, nous nous premenions soit à pieds soit en vélos. La piscine était à bonne température. Juste déçu de ne pas avoir la salle de sport qui était dans le descriptif. Je conseille cette location.

Overall a lovely property in a good location. The beach, shops and restaurants were all close by.

A nice place to stay for a large family within close proximity to the sea and local shops. The outside kitchen area was fab but could do with having a fridge installed for those important cold drinks close to hand. The only real negatives was the noise from the extractor fan at next doors restaurant which was quite loud when sunbathing by the pool and also the frequent smell of food being prepared and cooked. A nice stay was had by all and Françoise was very helpful.

Murmers of contentment

Francoise and Patrick very welcoming and helpful. Very well equipped property. Good barbeque area with accessories, but never got round to using it. All loved the pool which was set to just the right temperature for us. Just 5 minute walk to beach, which is rocky at low tide. Can walk to local shops. Only place for milk is SuperU, 10 Minutes drive.(or possibly local camp sites shops). Lots of restaurants by the sea, however Le Kou-De-Ta right next door was our favourite, not due just to location, but very good food, and fantastically friendly owners and staff.

A great property for a great holiday

Francoise was a very friendly and welcoming host. This property was great for us: 5 adults, and 5 children between 7 and 13 years old: characterful, charming, well equipped, comfortable. Even though the nice beach was only 10 minutes' walk away, the children spent most of the time in the pool. The barbeque area was brilliant, and there was seating in different parts of the garden so you could choose sun or shade. The boulangerie for those all important morning croissants and pain was 5 minutes' walk away, and there were nice shops just beyond it selling fresh vegetables, fish and meat, as well as clothes and gifts, and some cafes and restaurants. Jard sur Mer is a great holiday spot where a lot of French people take their holiday, which we liked. We all loved it and had a great week. Highly recommended. Thank you Francoise.

Maison idéalement située près de la plage et du petit centre ville avec tous les Avantages. La maison est parfaitement agencée : avec 5 chambres et salle d'eau individuelle avec WC plein d espaces pour bébé et petits enfants . Un jardin paysage avec barbecue belle terrasse ombragée, et une piscine de 4m×8 à une température minimale de 29 degrés sécurisée. Nous en avons tous bien profité. A recommander et nous aimerions bien y revenir

un coup de coeur confirmé

Maison accueillante et bien décorée , on s y sent très bien !! Nous étions 12 et chacun a vite trouvé sa place , une salle d eau et wc à chaque niveau facilite le quotidien ! Nous avons bien apprécié la terrasse le bar le barbecue et la piscine le tout sur un terrain clos et à l abris des regards et du bruit ! La plage et le centre ville à proximité sont un véritable plus ! Bref que du bonheur ! Me Morineau la propriétère nous accueille chaleureusement comme si nous étions de la famille !! Allez y vous ne serez pas déçus !!

Mauvais souvenir de cette location

La piscine était inutilisable puisque non chauffée :T° 14° à notre arrivée (29°promis) A notre départ elle atteint péniblement les 20°;les chambres du rdc ne peuvent pas être considérées comme telles !...Ne parlons pas de la salle de sport: matériel partiellement défectueux. Etat général de la location très moyen; compte tenu de ces constatations il va de soi que nous ne recommanderons cette location a nos amis .
