Paradiesisch und Entspannung pur!
Wunderschöner Pool, der täglich gesäubert wird, sowie sehr saubere und gut ausgestattete Räumlichkeiten in Kombination mit hervorragenden und sehr großzügigen Gastgebern. Der vorherigen Bewertung kann ich mich nicht anschließen. Sie wohnen zwar nebenan, sind aber zu 100% diskret und haben sich während des gesamten Aufenthalts zurückgehalten, sodass wir sie in 12 Tagen ganze 2 Mal getroffen haben. Ihre gesamte Terasse ist darüber hinaus mit einem Sichtschutz und Bepflanzung separiert. Das Meer ist in Fußweite(5 Minuten) und über einen Trampelpfad direkt von der Terasse aus zu erreichen. Die Nähe zur Unterkunft war uns besonders wichtig, da man mit einem kleinen 2-jährigen Kind durchaus die ein oder andere Sache für einen Strandbesuch mit einpacken muss. Der Strandabschnitt ist vollkommen verlassen und abgeschieden - auch hier ist also für die nötige Privatsphäre gesorgt. Mit ein bisschen Glück findet man eine kleine Sandbank, um schön liegen zu können. Am ersten Tag wurden wir herzlich begrüßt und bekamen großzügigerweise eine Flasche Olivenöl (aus eigenem biologischen Anbau) geschenkt. Während des restlichen Aufenthalts bekamen wir desöfteren lokale Spezialitäten und frische Handtücher. Wenn die Gastgeber zum Einkaufen gefahren sind, fragten Sie auch stets, ob Sie uns nicht etwas mitbringen sollten. Gelebte sizilianische Gastfreundschaft! 99% der Kommunikation fand per WhatsApp statt, was wir als sehr angenehm empfanden. Herzensgute Gastgeber aus Leidenschaft, die auch zukünftig wieder mit uns rechnen dürfen. Chapeau!

Excellent séjour.
-Très bon accueil, les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et discrets. -Vue incroyable, piscine très agréable. La maison est au cœur d’une oliveraie magnifique au bout d’un chemin en terre. -Possibilité de courir le long de la mer sur plus de 10km sur un chemin -supermarchés a 15 min en voiture Nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

Amazing location! Lonely beach and breathtaking view!
We had a fantastic time in this house. It was exactly what we were looking for: away of the crowd! There are lonely beaches in Sicily! The pool is as fantastic as on the pictures and the terrace in the shade is very relaxing. The hosts are very kind. The house is surrounded by olive trees and the way to the house not easy to find. But the host came to us and helped to find the way. We would definitely recommand the house for families and friends looking for peaceful moments. The kids said that they would love to come back! We would love too!

Vous trouvez cette perle cachée au bout du chemin des oliviers et des agrumes (une petite route cabossée et des paysages enchantés). Notre patience est récompensée: vue à couper le souffle, végétation luxuriante, piscine exceptionnelle digne des plus beaux films. Belle terrasse ombragée, murs en vieilles pierres et des hôtes aux petits soins, à proximité, et d'une discrétion assurée. Maison fonctionnelle, petit équipement (pas de lave-vaisselle) et barbecue. Tres beau sejour en debut de saison avec la chance d'une excellente meteo pour la saison. Bien qu'etant les premiers locataire cette année, tout etait pres pour la famille (5 personnes), piscine en eau et acceuil tres chaleureux des propriétaires qui savent se faire tres discret. Die Villa ist in Wirklichkeit eine Wohnung im Hause der Besitzers. Das Schwimmbad befindet sich vor der Terrasse des Besitzers. Keine Intimität möglich. Das alte ausrangierte Geschirr, Grill der Besitzer ist für die Gäste da... Die Wohnung, Kühlschrank, Pfannen, Geschirr etc. nicht sauber bei unserer Ankunft . Dieser Ort ist auf keinen Fall empfehlenswert!

Very Disappointed
1.) The pool and the view are amazing, according to the pictures. 2.) The villa is actually occupied by the owners. They are renting a small part of it, which means no privacy at all, we saw them most of the time. They even organized a party with they friends one night, till 2:00 AM. We had to share the pool with they friend’s children. We really did not expected that from the website’s announcement. We did not felt any intimacy or privacy. Big disappointment. If you think you are renting a villa, you'll be surprised (in a bad way) 3.) The small part of the villa looked odd and poorly furnished (especially the kitchen) On top of that, the furnitures were smelly and dirty. We chose to buy plastic plates to avoid using the flatware and cutlery at disposal. The only decent item was the BBQ. The tiny bathroom/shower/Toilet was moldy. We could not use the flush, but had to put the toilet papers in a bin. 4.) There was no internet connection ( unlike mentioned on the advert). It was a “translation mistake”. Finally, we received a USB 3G key, which unfortunately was not working on our side of the house. When I gave up and told the owners my intention buy a router myself, they offered to get it, and it finally worked. Unfortunately, the plugged it in they part of the house, and unplugged it every night. So I decided to use my own phone’s 4G, which was working still better. 5.) There are two dogs confined 24/7 in a small enclosure. We felt pity for them. Every morning from 6:00 AM, they started barking, just in the front of our open windows ( There was no way to sleep with closed doors, due to the very hot weather in summer) We finally decided to leave one week earlier than planned, because we did not wanted to ruin our holidays there. We would certainly not recommend this place.

VACANCES AU PARADIS
nous sommes restés 15 jours ,ce fut un séjour dans un cadre d'exception, un endroit de rêve qu'il est difficile de trouver. Très calme ,la mer à 200 mètres avec la plage pour nous ,des propriétaires charmants, beaucoup de soleil que rêver de plus? nous recommandons cette location qui correspond vraiment à la description. Mais dépêchez vous de réserver car les habitués y retournent !

Ein traumhafter Blick
Nach der langen Anreise vom Flughafen Catania (ca. 3 Std.) und den letzten Kilometern auf einem zumeist befestigten, jedoch insgesamt ordentlichen Weg, waren wir vom Anblick des Anwesens überwältigt. Der großzügige Pool mit dem sehr gepflegtem Palmengarten und dem herrlichen Ausblick auf das Meer sind wirklich traumhaft. Die Vermieter sind hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Der vermietete Hausanteil hat einen getrennten Eingang und ist mit einer Sichtwand vom übrigen Haus, in dem die berufstätigen Vermieter wohnen, getrennt. Das Haus selbst ist sauber und einfach, aber zweckmäßig, eingerichtet. Am Pool und auf einer überdachten Terrasse stehen ausreichend gute Liege- und Sitzgelegenheiten zur Verfügung. Außerdem gibt es eine Außendusche und im Pool Massagedüsen und einen kleinen Wasserfall. Sofern es die Stechmücken zulassen, kann man im Garten an einem überdachten Sitzplatz den Blick auf das Meer und den Strand genießen. Auch die übrigen Details entpsrachen den Angaben der Vermieter. Wir können das Haus jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Un site extraordinaire sur un promontoire dominant une plage déserte et sans fin, une immense piscine hollywodienne, un jardin splendide en pleine nature situé à un kilomètre du plus proche voisin mais à seulement 5 minutes de RIBERA, au milieu des oliviers, des cyprès et des lauriers roses, avec en prime les hôtes les plus acceuillants, serviables, authentiques et généreux que nous ayons rencontré en 50 ans de voyages ininterrompus. Un paradiso naturale
Valentino e Laura Un posto incantevole,un sogno che diventa realtà..questa é la sensazione che si prova quando si arriva a villa Africa...lì tutto é perfetto,il silenzio,la pace,la natura che offre un paesaggio mozzafiato....La villetta é pulita e con ogni comfort,e i proprietari Antonio e Antonella sono di un'ospitalità e cordialità infinita.Inoltre,gli 11 cuccioli della coppia di maremmani che ci sono nel recinto della villa,appena venuti al mondo,hanno contribuito a rendere ancora più roseo il soggiorno dei nostri 4 figli,che a malincuore hanno lasciato questo splendido paradiso al termine della vacanza.Lo consigliamo vivamente a tutti coloro che,come noi,vogliono passare indimenticabili momenti romantici di coppia,e al tempo stesso godere della favolosa compagnia del resto della famiglia.

una settimana in Paradiso
Che si può dire di Villa Africa? Che passare una settimana in quel luogo significa regalarsi una pausa in un angolo di paradiso. Situata là dove un vasto uliveto termina a picco sul mare (comunque facilmente raggiungibile in 10 minuti con un comodo sentiero) questa accogliente e fresca casa regala i colori ed i profumi della Sicilia raccontata da Camilleri. Al centro del giardino perfettamente curato si trova una piscina che è un vero gioiello per ciò che riguarda la progettazione, lo stato di manutenzione e la vista mozzafiato sulla baia sottostante. Palme, cactus, piante gigantesche di ibiscus e tanti fiori completano la scenografia. Per chi come noi non apprezza l'eccessiva mondanità ed adora il buon pesce, questo è il luogo ideale per una vacanza in quanto da Villa Africa sono facilmente raggiungibili siti archeologici, riserve naturali, spiagge di una bellezza caraibica e porti di Sciacca e Mazzara del Vallo. Un'ultima citazione ed un ringraziamento ai proprietari cordiali e discreti che hanno fatto sentire noi ed il nostro piccolo Alberto come a casa nostra.

Traumpool mit Meeraussicht
Nach einer Holperfahrt über die Naturstrasse zum Ferienhaus wurden wir freundlich vom Besitzerpaar empfangen. Die Poollandschaft und Lage des Hauses haben uns sofort bezaubert. Das Haus sauber und gepflegt. In der Ruhe haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt, und die Sonnenuntergänge waren traumhaft! Nach unseren Ausflügen (Zingaro Nationalpark, Valle dei templi, Scaccia...) haben wir uns immer auf unser Ferienparadies gefreut. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett, zugleich aber äusserst diskret. Nino hat uns mit frisch gepresstem Olivenöl verwöhnt - grazie mille! Unseren Nachfolgern wünschen wir einen unvergesslichen Urlaub. Kathrin

Paradiesisches, ruhiges Domizil!
Bewertung Villa Africa, Sciacca, Nach unserem traumhaften Urlaub 2012 in der Villa Africa, war für uns sonnenklar, den Urlaub 2013 wieder in der Villa Africa zu verbringen. Als letzte Gäste 2012 und erste Gäste im Jahr 2013, fanden wir das Appartement wieder topp gepflegt und mit Neuerung versehen vor. Wir wurden wieder von Neuem von der ruhigen, von der Sonne verwöhnten, traumhaften Oase total begeistert. Auch der wunderbare, sehr gepflegte Pool bot die gewünschte Erfrischung und das bei einzigartigen Ausblicken auf das Meer. Schön finden wir, dass hier keine touristischen Hochburgen oder Anlagen sind und das sizilianische Leben, die Kultur und Lebensart gepflegt und genossen wird. Durch die meist außerorts verlaufenden Staatsstraßen, sind ohne weiteres viele historische und kulturelle Orte Siziliens erreichbar. Sehr beeindruckend war ein toller Tagesausflug zum Ätna (Bergstation, SP 92) mit seinen Lavafeldern und dem Umland von Nicolosi und Catania. Dies alles, sowie die mit einer freundlichen Herzlichkeit auf einen zugehenden Vermieter, riefen in uns ein vertrautes, ja heimatliches Gefühl hervor. Wir geben nach unserem zweiten Urlaub der Villa Africa die besten Referenzen und träumen bis zum nächsten Urlaub von einem Wiedersehen. Brigitte und Michael

Erholung, Ruhe und romantische Tage
Einen unglaublich schönen Ort für einen erholsamen Urlaub haben wir hier vorgefunden. Es passt alles so, wie es in der Beschreibung beschrieben worden ist. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung hat Niveau. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig, die Betten sehr gut. Das Eigentümer-Ehepaar wohnt im Haus. Ein sehr nettes Ehepaar, sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Man kann ein paar Worte wechseln, aber sich auch sehr gut zurückziehen. Der Pool ist herrlich. Er hat eine Tiefe von zwei Meter und kann daher auch zum Schwimmen sehr gut benutzt werden. Der Ort ist sehr windig. Wer`s windig mag, kommt auf seine Kosten, denn dadurch kann man es auch ganz gut in der Sonne aushalten. Die Umgebung ist schön, nicht touristisch überlaufen. Trotzdem findet man sehr schöne Restaurants zum Essen. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

"Villa Africa e'' un ango...
"Villa Africa e'' un angolo di paradiso: la vista sul mare, la posizione, la natura, la pulizia, la cordialita'' dei proprietari, la magnifica piscina, la tranquillita'', tutto e'' semplicemente perfetto. Il posto ideale per rilassarsi ma anche per visitare le zone archeologiche nelle vicinanze. La scoperta di una Sicilia davvero invitante sotto ogni aspetto, ci auguriamo di poterci tornare al piu'' presto, grazia ad Antonella e Nino che hanno accolto con simpatia anche il nostro cagnone Thor."

Perfect spot for sunset views and unspoilt beaches
We had a wonderful holiday here - everything it says in the description is true! Fantastic location, spectacular views and a wonderful unspoilt beach (sandy and stony) a short walk down the hill from the beautiful and well-cared for pool area. The accommodation is part of the owners' building but with a separate entrance and most of the time you have the swimming pool and terrace completely to yourself. The owners are lovely - helpful and friendly if you want to ask them questions, but happy to leave you to get on with your holiday if you prefer. A really gorgeous spot to enjoy a relaxing holiday.
