Suite del Duomo is located on the 3th floor with lift in a gorgeous building in Via de’ Pecori 1, front the Duomo, over the main street where you can find all the luxury stores in Florence. It is a quiet and bright flat, and the location and the age of the building give you a charming atmosphere with very high standards.
The apartment (40sqm) has one bedroom and one bathroom and it can accomodate 4 people. As you enter, you will find: the living room with a pull out sofa (160 cm), the dining area, the fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a bedroom.
Suite del Duomo is provided with free internet Wi-Fi, Lcd TV, dishwasher, oven, microwave with grill, kettle, toaster, table sets, air conditioning, private heating, hairdryer, ironing facilities. The apartment has been redecorated and renewed in 2010, but the location and the age of the building give it a charming atmosphere in a very high standard comforts
The apartment overlooks over a courtyard but for the guests there is a wonderful terrace on 6th floor. The panoramic terrace front the Duomo offers one of the most beautiful views in the world.

Cute apartment, fantastic location

Super cute apartment spitting distance from the Duomo and all Florence sites. The space is small but well equipped for 2 people. Contemporary decor and very helpful host! The buildings rooftop views are outstanding and we enjoyed having our morning coffee there. Check in was easy and we had everything we needed for our short return stay to Florence.

Difficulties with communication

Property is small but well located. It is important to understand that all communication with the property managers is through What'sApp, regarding check-in or any concerns. If you are not a What's App user, this could be a problem for you, as it was for us.

Fabulous apartment

This apartment is beautiful. It's tastefully decorated and has everything you need. The bed is extremely comfortable and has luxurious bedding. The location could not be more perfect and there is a simply stunning view from the roof terrace. The owner Luca was amazing. He gave us an incredible amount of information and suggestions. I had a query and he responded immediately. I would highly recommend this apartment.

The Sweet Life

This is a small but well appointed apartment. You enter the building and go up 10 marble steps to the cutest lift that can easily accommodate two and all the luggage. You enter the apartment and are immediately stuck by how well they have created the space. High ceilings, big windows, and everything you will need for a lovely stay. The bedroom is large with two big windows and the most comfortable bed and lovely linens. The rooftop terrace has the most amazing views of the Duomo and the surrounding city and hills. Luca is friendly and quickly responds to any communication. He sends all the information you need for check-in a couple of days before your stay complete with step by step photos. The location is incomparable, just steps from the Duomo. Everything is within a 10 minute walk. We loved our stay here and will do it again when returning to Florence.

Florence fantasy

Luca was thorough , prompt and extremely organized. He was quick to respond and extremely helpful with additional information which was an enormous help. The property was so very beautiful and had everything we needed. We loved it! It was incredible to be within a few feet of the Duomo. Our visit was heaven and we would recommend this property to everyone.

OUTSTANDING

Not only was the place beautiful. The location was amazing, the views, the aesthetics, the hosts!! So welcoming and helpful, everything was just perfect. The owner met us when we arrived to give us a tour of the place which was such a personal touch, we’ll always remember it.

Perfect location in Florence!

The apartment was in a perfect location for our first visit to Florence. It’s located about a 2 minute walk from the Duomo and Cathedral so it couldn’t be better. We had trouble figuring out the AC system but the property manager Luca, was very responsive and immediately sent photos explaining how it worked. One of the remotes (the one I was trying) had dead batteries) so he fired Ted me to the other one and had the batteries replaced the next day. My only comment is that the apartment is quite small - so it would be tight for more than 2 people. However, it was a perfect base for us to explore Florence and walk around the entire city for our 4 day trip. One other convenient note - there is a taxi stand literally right in front of the building, so on our last morning there we wanted to get a cab to the train station and all we had to do was walk outside the building and one was there waiting!

Great location near everything

The location of the apartment is perfect. Just steps from the Duomo and short walks to Acacemia Gallery (David), Ponte Vechio, Uffuzi Gallery and much more. The aprtment is comfortable and Luca did a great job communicating and orienting us to the place. Real bonus was watching sunsets from the roof top terrace

This is it. No need to look any further

This apartment was amazing. It was very stylish, clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The location was amazing. You are pretty much in the duomo piazza as soon as you walk out the door. The entire building was opulent and well maintained. The view from the terrace was spectacular. It would be great if the building manager would put some high stools along the terrace wall to sit and enjoy the views, but that is completely external from this rental. And it’s just fine to lean along the wall and gaze at the amazing views of the duomo all lit up at night. Luca was an amazing host and made the whole process almost frictionless. He is clearly an experienced host and is very kind and professional.

Amazing location.

This apartment was very modern in a classic building with an elevator. The location was amazing, steps from the Duomo. The rooftop terrace had a wonderful view and if the weather had been nicer we could have sat there and enjoyed it more. The owner Wes very quick to respond to our few questions. The only thing I can complain about is the lack of storage for our clothes. There was a small rack to hang our clothes but we had to leave our suitcases on the floor in the living room.

Perfect spot!

My husband and I stayed in Florence for 5 nights. This was a perfect place to stay. It was clean and comfortable, reasonably priced and the location was fantastic. It was centrally located and easy to get around to all of the major sights that we wanted to see. Luca was a great host. He told us where to leave our luggage which was close by, as we arrived in Florence early. (highly recommend Left Luggage also) He met us at the apartment and showed us how to work everything. I highly recommend this VRBO location. There was candy by the door and lots of coffee and espresso to chose from! Kathy (USA)

Rocky start, but everything worked out ok

We had been in Italy over two weeks when we checked into this apartment for a 2 day stay. I requested check in instructions before we left home so we could resolve any questions at that time, but I was told I had to wait until 3 days prior to our arrival. Because of this policy, we didn’t have the benefit of getting any questions answered beforehand. We also had our dinner plans already, so the information we received on restaurants was not as helpful as it would have been, if it was sent out sooner. Even instructions on how to access the lock box or how to use the elevator came via grainy pictures that were impossible to read. I ended up communicating via WhatsApp and using multiple text messages to get into the apartment. It was just an unnecessary hassle that would have been avoided if we received the check in instructions sooner. The location was great- we were steps from the Duomo and just about every place we wanted to see. There is a great view from the rooftop terrace, but the instructions on how to access the view was also unclear. Luckily we met an older lady on the roof who showed us the way. The kitchen is nicely equipped. Instructions on how to operate the dishwasher in English would be helpful, as well as an ice cube tray in the freezer. Be prepared! The bell tower of the Duomo is right outside your window and when those bells ring at 7 am, they’ll wake you up!!

This is a clean, beautiful apartment in the perfect location and the host is extremely helpful. I will only note that the wonderful bells in the tower of the Duomo do begin to ring at 7:00 am.

"amazing location just at...

"amazing location just at the corner of the Duomo. we went up to the "terrace" and had all of Florence on our palm. The view is breathtaking. We had a very warm welcome from Luca who was very helpful with tourist information and suggestions on how to make the most of our stay in Florence. We enjoyed the coffee machine and the various types of capsules that Luca gave us. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and equipped with the latest gadgets. The apartment is much better looking in reality than the images shown on the website. We are looking forward to our next stay there."

"Luca's place, Suite de P...

"Luca's place, Suite de Peccori, is located in a grand old building 100 m from the Duomo. This was extremely convenient because it meant you could walk around town all morning and then break for an afternoon siesta or short rest before going out again. I'm sure there are many hotels and apartments that allow that but the best part of the deal was Luca himself, who was extremely cooperative and allowed us to leave our bags in the apartment when we couldn't get an earlier train to Milan. 2 thumbs up!"
