Un rêve

Terrasses incroyables, grands espaces à vivre, cuisine très fonctionnelle, espaces nuit assez séparés pour plusieurs familles, fraîcheur grâce a l'air marin même les jours de grande chaleur, hôte sympathique et arrangeant... Rien à redire, tout à conseiller!

vieille maison spacieuse, ouverte sur une plage immense

Cette grande maison, ouverte sur la plage, est très agréable. Nous avons pu profiter de ce lieu magnifique, grande étendue à perte de vue, mer, vent, sable et aussi de faire du kayak et du vélo jusqu'à Sète. Bref, nous avons passé une semaine tous ensemble merveilleuse

Le calme en bordure de mer

L'emplacement est magique. En septembre surtout quand la foule est absente. Nous avons eu l'impression d'avoir une plage privée devant nous. L'espace est grand et lumineux. La cuisine comporte les éléments nécessaires au séjour. Nous étions 6 personnes, si l'espace peut accueillir sans problème ces 12 personnes il est possible que cela soit un peu juste pour la cuisson (un détail). La propreté est bonne. La communication avec le propriétaire efficace et simple. Les canoés à disposition un plus. L'état des vélos ne permet pas de grandes randonnées, mais pour se déplacer sur les plages et chez le boulanger, aucun problème. Nous conseillons sans restrictions cette location.

Mixed bag

The house is ideally located on the beach and is large enough for 12 persons to sleep however there are some important things to consider in order to set the proper expectations. House itself: great location, very practical access to the beach, private garden. Configuration: while it’s big enough for 12, it is worth noting the house is not outfitted to serve 12 - in case of bad weather, the couch only sits 4, the tv corner is for 2 maybe 3 if you use a stool - the seating for dining inside is 10max. Amenities: not enough glasses - the dishwasher needs to be replaced because it is in shambles and does not clean well - there is no drying rack or dish towels - you have to bring or buy the basic essentials like salt, pepper and oil. Also even though the website says house linens are provided, this only covers for bed sheets, no bathroom towels. The owner was nice enough to help us out with those but this is a major discrepancy. The website also states that checkout is at 11am but you have to clear the upstairs and let the cleaning crew in at 8:30 Other point to note, the next door site is a camping so during the high season expect the disco music to be loud and played until 1am on weekdays and 4am on the weekends. The terrace is amazing, great view of the dunes and beach, always breezy and shaded. The beach is spotless: clean sand and clean water - lifeguards are on duty and the donuts are delicious The outdoor shower was super practical - the kids loved the ping pong table and the bicycles were great to have. There was also a beautiful assortment of vegetables, fruits and local delicacies as a welcome basket waiting for us and the owner is really responsive and sweet. Overall we all enjoyed our stay at La maison de la plage and will keep fond memories.

Propriétaire très accueillant. Emplacement exceptionnel, maison très bien équipée. Idéale pour grande ou groupe d amis avec enfants. Seul bémol, check out un peu trop tôt.

Sommerferien

Auch beim vierten Aufenthalt haben wir tolle Ferien in diesem Haus erlebt. Super Hausübergabe und gute Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. In die Einrichtung dürfte mal wieder etwas investiert werden. Aber das ist auf hohem Niveau gejammert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour avec une maison située face à la mer au pied des dunes, offrant une vue magnifique sur la mer. Bel ensemble d'activités possibles grâce à la mise à disposition de vélos et de canoë kayaks. Maison très agréable et très claire et spacieuse.

Tolles Strandhaus für Familien

Wir waren im Juni mit 4 Erwachsenen und 5 Kindern zwischen 1 und 6 Jahren zu Besuch in diesem tollen Haus. Die Lage ist traumhaft: Direkt in den Dünen, nur wenige Schritte vom Strand entfernt. Das Haus ist groß genug für zwei oder sogar drei Familien und der Blick übers Meer ist einfach gigantisch. Es gibt zwei Kinderzimmer, in denen bis zu 3 Kinder schlafen können, dazu zwei Zimmer mit Doppelbett und ein Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten. Auf der Terrasse gibt es zwei Tische zum Essen, eine chillige Lounge-Ecke, auf dem oberen Balkon gibt es auch nochmal Liegestühle. Und auch der Wohn/Essbereich innen ist sehr großzügig. Im Hof stehen ebenfalls nochmals einige Liegestühle. Man hat also genug Platz für alle, auch um sich mal ein wenig zurückzuziehen. Was man allerdings wissen sollte: Die beiden Hauptschlafzimmer sind sehr unterschiedlich. Das obere ist eine helle luftige Suite mit eigener Dusche und Balkon. Das untere Schlafzimmer ist eher klein und geht zum Hof hinaus bzw. hat einen Blick auf den benachbarten Campingplatz. Das ist natürlich nicht so ausgeglichen, so dass man sich, wenn man mit zwei oder mehr Familien unterwegs ist, ausknobeln muss, wer nun das Superzimmer oben bekommt. Wir haben das aber ganz gut hinbekommen :) Zum Haus gehört auch einiges an Equipment - von Rädern bis hin zu Seekayaks. Die sind teilweise schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, waren aber noch gut benutzbar. Der Keller ist sowieso eine wahre Fundgrube an Dingen - sogar ein Planschbecken gibt es (was super praktisch war für unsere Kleinen). Zum Strand gelangt man durch eine kleine Seitentür, für das Auto gibt es eine Einfahrt mit automatischem Tor. Im Hof gibt es genug Platz für 2 bis 3 Autos - einzig die Einfahrt ist ein wenig tricky, weil der Zufahrtsweg sehr sandig ist (schnell fahren, dann bleibt keiner stecken!). Marseillan Plage ist ein typischer Ferienort am Meer - im Sommer laut und bunt, sonst eher ruhig. Zu Fuß geht man etwa 15 Minuten ins Ortszentrum, wo es Geschäfte und Restaurants gibt (allerdings keine wirklich guten). Gut essen (Meeresfrüchte!) kann man aber in der Beachbar Le Cap Horn etwas den Strand runter. Der Strand ist sehr sauber, das Wasser schön flach - ideal für Kinder. Und der Muschelreichtum ist legendär. Wir haben gefühlt eine Woche lang nur Muscheln gesammelt. Ich kann das Haus absolut empfehlen, gerade in der Vor- und Nachsaison, wenn es am Strand noch etwas ruhiger zugeht. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub!

- Sehr geräumiges Haus, alles funktioniert - 50m vom Meer entfernt - keine Touristenhochburg - daher eher ruhige Gegend Im Grossen und Ganzen, ein Idealer Ort um sich richtig zu erholen.

Un accueil très chaleureux et super sympa de la part du propriétaire avec des produits locaux excellents. La maison correspond en tous points au descriptif et le confort est exceptionnel. Quant à la plage... au pied de la maison, que du bonheur pour parents et enfants. Nous reviendrons sans hesiter.

Séjour inoubliable!!

Nous avons passé une semaine extraordinaire dans cette villa adaptée pour notre grande famille!! La vue est somptueuse!! La maison très fonctionnelle et elle offre une multitude d occupations!! Le kayak de mer, le ping pong , les apéros en terrasse et dans la grande salle à manger , des caches caches inoubliables , des jeux de société .. La plage à seulement quelques mètres nous donne l impression que elle nous appartient , surtout à cette saison où il n y a presque personne à se balader .. Le soleil était au rendez vous et les villages à proximité sont très chouettes aussi !! En conclusion, ils nous a été très difficile de quitter ce petit paradis pour un retour au travail dans notre petite Vendée mais on garde des souvenirs pleins la tête et nous repartons avec le plein d énergie !!! Merci au propriétaire (désolés pour la chaise !!!) pour toute ses marques d attention.. Ça fait parti du charme ... Merci encore nous essaierons de revenir si l occasion se présente !!

Idéale pour un groupe

Super séjour! La maison est super bien située et on profite de la mer aussi bien dehors que dans la maison. La pièce à vivre est tellement agréable et spacieuse et la vue est tellement belle que le séjour est réussi même par mauvais temps. On y vit à 12 sans se marcher dessus. De plus la maison est bien équipée (table de ping-pong, canoés, vélos...). La belle piste cyclable qui permet d'aller à Sete est à 100m de la maison. Et pour couronner le tout, le propriétaire est très agréable.

Wir waren in der Villa, um einen Geburtstag zu feiern mit allen Generationen. Das Gebäude und die Einrichtung sind eigentlich noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Ein herrlicher Ort, um die Beine baumeln zu lassen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll; an den Aussenbereichen nagt das Salz ein bischen, aber keineswegs störend. Die Küche könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein (kein richtiger Mixer, nur eine Kapselkaffeemaschine), aber sonst habe ich nichts zu mäkeln. Der Vermieter spricht gut englisch und ist sehr bemüht und zuvorkommend. Im ganzen ein perfekter Ort, um eine Woche (oder mehr) zu verbringen, und der Preis ist durchaus gerechtfertigt. Wir würden wiederkommen! Martin

Une semaine en arrière saison exceptionnelle la maison est hyper agréable, fonctionnelle, bien équipée, super accueil du propriétaire nous avons également bien profité des environs.
