Come and enjoy the quite solitude of “The Pines” – a three-bedroom vacation rental cabin located in Wisconsin’s upper Mississippi bluff country. Our secluded vacation home features beautiful views of the wooded countryside, as well as first-rate accommodations including full kitchen, private large wrap around deck with a hot tub and charcoal grill.

Beautiful property!

Highly recommend this property! The booking process went smoothly and the property had all the elements for a relaxing family weekend. The cabin came well-equipped with all kitchen items; all the rooms were spacious and cozy. The hot tub was a great option for the beautiful fall weather. The property was extremely clean, and we hope to return soon!

Lovely place in a beautiful setting

Perfect, peaceful getaway ❤️

I booked this cabin for the 1 year anniversary passing of my brother and it was absolutely perfect. I had been looking for a larger property for months and couldn’t find one to fit my needs but then I found this property and Eric was so kind and accommodating I had to book it. Eric was communicative throughout the whole process and made sure everything was seamless, I can’t thank him enough. The property itself was so serine and just what me and my family needed. Whether cozied up by the fire or enjoying the firefly’s on the porch, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and property to stay at. We will definitely be back, thank you So So much Eric

College Girl Friends Reunion

Our annual gathering of girl fiends/roommates from college was great. The Pines Cabin had plenty of comfortable space for group gab sessions, TV viewing, game playing, cooking and eating. The privacy of the country setting was great - only a few deer walking by to check on us. Making the reservation, checking in, and departing was very easy. Would rent it again.

Very nice, quiet location. Easy drive to LaCrosse, Prairie du Chien or Lansing, IA. Beautiful country roads and sights along the Mississippi River.

Great get-away

Enjoyed the solitude and the beautiful cabin. Great if you want to enjoy the peace and quiet and take a dip in the hot tub. Lansing's coffee on the river is fantastic as well!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. So easy find and close to many things that we wanted to do. We did have a slight problem when we first arrived and reached out to the manager right away. She responded immediately and it was corrected within an hour! I will no doubt be returning in the future.

This is a beautiful cabin inside and out. We throughly enjoyed our stay! Such a beautiful view out back especially with the fall color. Five Star Cabin/Five Star Location

Super Clean, Super Inviting! Everything you would be looking for in a cabin in the bluff country. The view was amazing from the deck as well as the fire pit as you looked across a prairie grass field into a large wooded area where you would expect a deer to come wandering out at any moment. Eric was great to work with and if you have the opportunity, ask him about how this cabin came to be. HINT: It involves a cocktail napkin, a pen and a tavern. Amazing Getaway!

I have never taken the time to write a review but absolutely had to for this property. Eric Knutson, the property manager, was very kind and responds quickly to communications. The cabin and property itself are beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was spacious and perfect for 8 of us on a girl's weekend. The sky at night is amazing and we sat up late into the night watching shooting stars. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and lounging on the deck. We were able to watch deer run down the woodline. The village of Ferryville is just a quick drive down the road. We enjoyed lunch and some drinks at the local watering holes that sit right across from the Mississippi River. I had one of the best burgers I've ever eaten at Swede's Swing Inn. Everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed seeing eagles along the river. We definitely will be returning to the area and renting from Knutson Property Services.

How our business started.. In 1994 Eric started a small "part time" lawn mowing business for extra money that would eventually turn into much more and a full time career and a family owned company. In 1998 we were asked to manage a Vacation Home and being totally truthful... we had no idea of what we were dong and how fast we would learn. After having a terrible experience Renting a Vacation Rental in Northern Wis. I knew what my future would hold in the Property Management business. It was 3 simple things. 1) Be True and Honest to your Guests, 2) Treat our Guests the way I personally would want to be treated 3) Provide 5 star "Clean" accommodations and be better then the rest! After 20 plus years, KPS has several repeat guests and so many friend ships have been made. Till this day we still hold true to our 3 step system. We hope someday you can come enjoy one of our vacation homes or cabins. We are very proud of our Vacation Properties and the business we have created.
