Tranquil holiday location

We stayed at la mare aux loups for a week in August and enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing holiday. The cottage is clean and well equipped and conveniently situated to visit Normandy's many attractions. The owners were personable and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this accommodation.

pleasant stay in a beautifull environment!

nice appartment. quiet. close to the sea, although we couldn't see it form the house. We were allowed to use a garden wich was to far away from the house, and the garden next to the appartment was the private garden of the owner, so we were not allowed to use that one. The wifi was weak, no problem for the smartphones, but we couldn't use the laptop.

Pleasant stay near Honfleur

A delightful little converted building in large grounds with dramatic gardens, and only a very short walk down to the beach. The property was well situated for the short journey into Honfleur, where we found free parking easy to obtain, and also for a relatively close hypermarket. Only very slight drawbacks were the lack of laundry facilities (despite them being listed amongst facilities on Vrbo) and rather cobwebby ceilings in the beamed bedrooms, which proved rather a problem with a teenager scared of spiders! Very helpful owners though, and we would come back.

Charming and beautiful!

Very charming cottage and friendly and helpful owners with great communication. Everything was as advertised and the short walk to the beach was very beautiful. The large garden was a delight and overall it was very quiet (apart from loud music coming from far away - probably Honfleur - on Saturday night). The nearness of Honfleur was really welcome. Do however visit Villerville as well, it is lovely and definitely less touristic and just as beautiful! All in all very much recommended for the great garden, charming accomodation, nearness and quietness of the beach, the beautiful forest right up the road and the very friendly owners. The check-in was a bit hurried, but we arrived quite late (around 20:00). A few downsides were the very small bathroom (more a shower room) without any curtain - so the floor becomes all wet, the pretty hard mattresses and the many number of cobwebs and (admittedly, very harmless and cute) spiders. No bakery or supermarket is in the neighborhood. A car is really a necessity to get groceries.

En espérant que cela vous aide car quand je me suis plaint de plusieurs chose à la propriétaire voici sa réponse : c'était noté dans les commentaires !! POINTS NEGATIFS: -la pièce de vie est accessible seulement en descendant de long escaliers exiguë sans aucune protection pour enfants. -Accès principal de la maison se faisant par le second étages( chambres et sanitaires) - Vous arrivez dans votre location sur un parking de voitures car vous le partager avec vos voisins et les propriétaires qui sont totalement mitoyens ( 20m d'écart entre chacune des portes ) - les voisins de droites passent devant votre chambres à coucher et votre porte principal pour aller à la plage ou chercher leur voiture, aucune intimités. - La PARCELLE de jardin qui vous est destiné est au 3/4 boisés et le fond de celui ci est le dépôt de tas de mauvaises herbes, orties retirés des 3 jardins réunies. - aucune clôture ne sépare les portes d'entrées et les jardins voisins - De votre pièce à vivre vous avez seulement " vue" et NON ACCES au jardin présent sur les photos car celui ci est celui des propriétaires. Le votre est à l'étage et ombragé toute la journée. - le propriétaire a passer 2 fois la tondeuse sur son jardin privé qui est donc devant notre pièce à vivre. -La plage donne vue sur le port du Havre( absent sur les photos) avec des odeurs parfois d'essence - mini salle de bain en biais sans fenêtre. POINT POSITIFS: L'accès a la plage par un chemin de verdure sympathique et rapide 3 min

Pas mal déçu

Les + idéalement située prêt d'Honfleur et de la plage ( à 450m par le chemin et 200m à vol d'oiseau et non pas 70m comme indiqué dans l'annonce !!! (données google map) Maison de charme ancienne. Les - Salle de bain minuscule et sans fenêtre qui ne permet pas de se sécher à l’intérieur, on doit donc sortir pour le faire mais elle fait face à la porte d'entrée vitrée qui donne directement sur le chemin qui mène au 2ème logement (vis à vis important) idem pour les fenêtres des chambres (vis à vis). parfait pour les adeptes de naturisme, pour nous bof bof ...Humidité permanente à l'intérieur.(forte odeur qui imprègne le linge) La cuisine qui se trouve au niveau inférieur donne sur une belle pelouse qui est malheureusement privative. l'espace extérieur réservé aux locataires se situe devant le niveau supérieur, donc si vous voulez prendre vos repas dehors il faut faire des allers-retours en prenant les escaliers, nous y avons renoncé, on n'a pris aucun repas ni apéro dehors du coup, ce n'est pas décrit dans l'annonce, quelle dommage... Pour finir, la propriétaire se soucie plus de savoir comment vous laissez le logement au moment du départ avant de savoir si vous avez passé de bonnes vacances, on est pas tous fait pour ce métier... Bref, nous aurions aimé avoir ces infos avant de réserver car pour le prix, ce n'est pas au niveau. En espérant que cela servira.

Onze vakantie 2024 in Pennedepie

Heel goed. Vakantieverblijf met veel mooie tuin dicht bij het strand en bossen. Centraal gelegen om fietstochten te maken naan Honfleur en Villervile sur mere en verder. Klein min puntlje was het ontbreken van een haardroger. Eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk.

Idyllisches Ferienhaus mit direktem Zugang zu wildem Strand

Unser Aufenthalt in dem Ferienhaus war wirklich großartig. Das idyllische Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und mit allem, was man braucht, ausgestattet. Der Eingang befindet sich sozusagen im Obergeschoss, wo auch die zwei Schlafzimmer und das Badezimmer ist. Im Keller ist die Küche und das Wohnzimmer. Der für Gäste vorgesehene Teil des Gartens ist sehr schön, als wäre man in einem kleinen Wäldchen, und hat uns sowohl sonnige als auch schattige Plätze geboten. Zum wilden Strand sind es lediglich 5min, zu dem man über einen kleinen Pfad kommt, der an das Grundstück angrenzt. Der Strand ist kein typischer Badestrand, aber bietet eine außerordentliche Ruhe und ist sowohl am Tag schön, als auch bei Nacht, wenn man die Lichter des gegeüberliegenden Hafens von Le Havre sehen kann. Es ist auch sehr interessant, hier die starken Gezeiten zu beobachten. In der Region gibt es viel zu sehen, und es ist nur ein Katzensprung zu der schönen kleinen Hafenstadt Honfleur oder nach Deauville. Insgesamt hatten wir eine wundervolle Zeit und haben es sehr genossen.

Perfekt

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in der Normandie. Die Lage zwischen Honfleur, Deauville und dem Cidre Gebiet ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für viele Unternehmungen. Besonders gut hat uns gefallen, dass wir in nur drei Minuten am Strand waren. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ruhig, mit Optimierungspotential

Die Ferienwohnung liegt gerade einmal 5 Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Der Strand ist schön und wer die riesige Hafenanlage von Le Havre gegenüber mit industriellem Interesse betrachten kann, hat hier vor allem abends mit den vielen aufs Meer scheinenden Lichtern seinen Spaß. Die Wohnung selbst befindet sich über zwei Stockwerke in einem historischen Gemäuer auf einem Grundstück mit vielen freiheitsliebenden Sträuchern, die bei Sonne für sehr viel Schatten sorgen. Der „sonnigere“ Teil des Gartens ist leider den Vermietern vorbehalten und so haben wir uns gerade bei schönem Wetter etwas eingesperrt gefühlt im Kochwohnbereich, der sich im unteren Stock befindet. Oben liegen die Schlafzimmer, WC und Dusche. Letztere war eine tägliche Herausforderung, da in eine enge Schräge eingebaut. Schon der Zweite, der am Morgen duschen wollte, hatte das Nachsehen, denn es gab leider keinen Duschvorhang und der Abzug funktionierte nicht. Im Urlaub nimmt man vieles gelassener, und dass Wippspinnen normale Hausbewohner in alten Gemäuern sind, wissen wir. Dennoch hätte es insgesamt sauberer sein können. Das Wäschepaket für 120 Euro hätten wir uns auch etwas „frischer“ vorgestellt. Aber dass die Normandie gerade auch rund um Honfleur eine Reise wert ist, gilt.

Die reinste Erholung in wunderbarer Umgebung

Es ist nicht leicht zu finden, dieses kleine, versteckte Häuschen. Aber wenn man es einmal gefunden hat, fühlt man sich sofort im Urlaub. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und der lange Sandstrand ist wirklich nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. In dem Häuschen befindet sich alles auf zwei Etagen. Die Wohnküche ist gemütlich und man schaut in den wunderbaren Garten der Vermieter, der allerdings nicht für die Hausgäste zur Verfügung steht. Die Schlafzimmer sind niedlich und die Betten bequem. Das Duschen war ein klein wenig abenteuerlich, denn die Dusche ist in einer Schrägen und in einem sehr kleinen Raum, aber mit etwas Übung konnte man sich behelfen. Wir sind auf jeden Fall sehr erholt und entspannt wieder nach Hause gefahren und haben den Urlaub genossen. Vielen Dank!

Schöne Ferienwohnung in wenigen Gehminuten zum Strand

Wir haben zwei schöne Wochen in Pennedepie verbracht. Der Garten ist groß, die Kinder können hier schön spielen, er liegt allerdings nicht auf Ebene des Ess-/Wohnraums, weshalb es mit Kindern etwas umständlich ist, im Garten zu frühstücken oder Abend zu essen. Der Strand ist nur wenige Gehminuten vom Ferienhaus entfernt und sehr schön. Wir waren meist die Einzigen dort und haben die Zeit und auch die Gezeiten dort sehr genossen. Auf dem Weg dorthin kann man im August leckere Brombeeren von der Hecke pflücken. Der nächste Ort, Honfleur, ist zwar sehr schön, allerdings in der Hauptsaison völlig überlaufen, weshalb wir dort nicht viel Zeit verbracht haben.

Tolle Zeit

Das Häuschen ist wirklich toll gelegen fußläufig zu einem wilden, einsamen Strand. Perfekt zum Entspannen, aber auch für Kinder zum Spielen und Baden. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ländliche Idylle

Tolle kleine Unterkunft mitten in der Natur, 2 min Fußweg zum Meer und sehr nette Vermieter. Für große Personen sind die Decken stellenweise allerdings etwas niedrig. 🙂

Heerlijk verblijf

Het huis en de locatie lijken wel uit een sprookje te komen. Heerlijk rustig en dicht bij het strand. In de omgeving veel te zien. Normandie heeft een rijke historie. Een echte aanrader.

Die Ferienwohnung hat unsere Erwartungen mehr als übertroffen! Zu Fuß nur 5 min zum Strand. Mit dem Auto ist man in gut 10 min in Honfleur! Sehr ruhige Lage!

Eine Woche im grünen Paradies, ganz nah am Strand

Wunderschönes parkähnliches Grundstück mit tollem Ferienhaus. Schlafzimmer liegen auf dem Niveau des Eingangs, Wohnraum/Küche darunter auf Niveau des Gartens der Vermieter. Im Garten kann man wunderbar bei Vogelgezwitscher entspannen, das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet, die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Küche recht gut ausgestattet, für ambitioniertere Köche könnten Formen für den Backofen z. B. ergänzt oder mitgebracht werden; Pfannen und Töpfe ausreichend vorhanden. Für heiße Wochen im Sommer evtl. dünne Laken/Decke einpacken, die Decken waren eher von dickerer Qualität. Während unseres Urlaubs war das andere Haus auf dem Grundstück nicht vermietet, so dass wir das riesige Gelände alleine nutzen konnten. Ansonsten findet aber auch jeder ein Plätzchen. Besonders toll war der kurze Weg zum Strand, den man im Juni fast für sich allein hatte, und die unmittelbare Nähe zu den schönen Orten in der Umgebung wie Honfleur etc. Wir würden das Haus auf jeden Fall wieder mieten! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit dort. Falls man etwas verbessern wollte: Bettwäsche in 2x2 m Größe hat kein Gast aus Deutschland. Es wäre super diese ausleihen zu können. Außerdem wäre ein Duschvorhang ungemein praktisch.
