The listing was misleading
Corinne was very pleasant and the flat was clean but we believed that it was self contained and this is not the case. We can find no mention online that the apartment is shared. We were hoping for a romantic few days in Paris and the presence of someone else so close (there are only partition walls) was intrusive. If we had known that there was no real privacy we would never have gone. It needs to be clearer that this is only a bedroom with curtained glass windows which meant for any kind of private space we had to be in darkness. I’m sure this place is great for single travellers or those seeking company. Unfortunately we did not fall int9 those categories. we are a married couple who needed our own space.

Schöner Aufenthalt bei Corinne
Wir hatten vier sehr schöne Tage. Da Streik war, sind wir nicht Metro gefahren. Da sind schon ein paar Kilometer zusammengekommen, aber von Corinnes Wohnung aus war alles zu Fuß machbar. Und die Unterhaltungen mit Corinne waren sehr interessant.

Mittendrin und doch ruhig
Schönes Zimmer in einer belebten Wohngegend, sehr ruhig im Hinterhof, sehr netter Kontakt zu der überaus freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Vermieterin. Für uns war es ein wirklich schönes Erlebnis und eine bleibende tolle Erinnerung. Sehr zu empfehlen für Menschen, für die Sightseeing und Shopping nicht alles ist.

Wir haben 10 Tage bei Corinne gewohnt, um tagsüber Paris zu erkunden und haben dort eine wunderbare Zeit verbracht! Das Zimmer ist schön und sauber, die Wohnung liegt ganz ruhig im Hinterhof. Küche und Wohnzimmer hatten wir morgens und abends oft für uns, Corinne war sehr rücksichtsvoll und diskret und hat gern mit Tipps geholfen. Eine wunderbare Gastgeberin! Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Exceptionally quiet stay
We rented a room in this flat to kick off our exploration of France. Corinne was lovely and offered us good information for our stay. Our room was quite private and all of the hustle of Paris is effectively blocked out by the location. No fans or A/C yet, the flat remained cool and comfortable. Thanks for everything Corinne!

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay with Corinne. She was very helpful and a great host. We were a little concerned about being too noisy or disturbing her work, but ended up being gone most of the day. Great location with shops and restaurants nearby. Would stay again!

Ottima Esperienza!
Ho soggiornato con il mio ragazzo in questo appartamento e devo dire che ha superato di gran lunga le mie aspettative. Appartamento ben tenuto è molto luminoso, si trova in una zona centrale da dove è possibile muoversi sia a piedi sia con la metto che si trova a meno di 500mt. Corinne è stata carinissima (grazie ancora della Bialetti) ed è venuta incontro alle nostre richieste! Torneremo sicuramente!

Un havre de tranquillité au cœur de Paris
Notre séjour chez Corinne a été un plaisir. La chambre est très confortable, on dispose également d’un dressing design et fonctionnel. C’est un lieu très calme, protégé des bruits de la ville. Corinne s’emploie à rendre le séjour de ses hôtes très plaisant et chaleureux. Elle organise le partage de son appartement de la manière la plus conviviale possible. Il est très facile depuis cette adresse de se rendre dans les différents quartiers de la capitale. Nous recommandons chaudement cette location. Kreatives Viertel abseits von Pariser Touristenströmen
Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt im Apartment und im 11. Arrondissement, ein Viertel, das zwischen allen Pariser Sehenswürdigkeiten liegt, aber nicht von Touristen eingenommen wird. Die Gastgeberin Corinne Laroche hat gute Tipps für einen individuellen Aufenthalt gegeben. Das Zimmer und die ganze Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich, geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtet mit einem sehr bequemen Bett und viel Staurraum. Die Atmosphäre in der ehemaligen Druckerei ist einmalig und ist es wert für einen zweiten Aufenthalt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es gleich um die Ecke in einem kleinen City-Supermarkt sowie auf dem Wochenmarkt am Canal St. Martin dienstags und freitags.

Logement calme et bien situé
Corinne est une hôte accueillante et sympathique. Elle s'adapte facilement aux personnes qui logent chez elle et n'est pas du tout envahissante. L'appartement est vraiment joli et la décoration artistique. L'endroit est très calme pour sa situation au coeur de Paris. Le quartier est également serein. Des cafés, restaurants, théâtres et échoppes sont à proximité. Nous avons vraiment passé un super séjour à Paris avec mon amie d'enfance.

Lovely!
This property was lovely. It was comfortable, clean, cool and light with an artists flare. It was amazingly quiet while being in a great location. I was there during a August heat wave. With the fan provided I managed the heat, while my friends in other locations in Paris were sweltering. The hostess was very professional and accommodating. Even though she was away, she had local people available to help welcome me and show me around the apartment. On short notice she was willing to accommodate my request to add a guest. Highly recommended. If I have the opportunity to visit Paris again I would stay here.

Sehr ruhig gelegen obwohl mitten in der Stadt.
Wir waren 4 Nächte zu Gast und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Ambiente ist wie wir finden außergewöhnlich und etwas besonderes gerade weil es ein Anbau aus Glas in einem Hinterhof ist. Der Schlafbereich mit Bad und Wc ist separiert vom Rest des Wohnbereiches. Was für die nötige Privatsphäre sorgt da man die Küche mit der Vermieterin teilt. Die aber sehr im Hintergrund bleibt. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen und sprechen eine klare Empfehlung aus. Vielen Dank.

Herzlich, sauber, ruhig, gute Lage
Bei Corinne hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt! Sie hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Zimmer ist gut geeignet für zwei Freunde/Freundinnen, Paare oder Einzelpersonen. Die Atmosphäre war familiär in ihrem künstlerischen Apartment. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig im Hinterhof gelegen. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Bars, Cafés und Restaurants. Von der Haltestelle ‘République’ gelangt man schnell zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Auch zu Fuß kann man die Seine erreichen. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen, wenn wir in Paris sind.

Chambre agréable, lits confortables, salle de bain privée, accès à la cuisine bien équipée, salle à manger et salon spacieux. Le loft étant situé dans une cour intérieure, le lieu est très tranquille. Corinne est une hôte accueillante et fort sympathique tout en étant très discrète. Quiet accommodations in a great location
My teenage daughter and I stayed here for three nights this past weekend (early June). Corinne was very prompt in our preliminary correspondence, and was there to meet us when we arrived. As others have noted, the kitchen is shared, but Corinne is very respectful of guests' privacy. She gave us great suggestions for patisseries nearby! There are many lively cafes and restaurants in the Republique area, and it's a 15-20 minute walk to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. Since we had a late flight Sunday evening and wanted to walk around the city during the day, Corinne was very accommodating by letting us leave our bags in the apartment until late afternoon. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a great time and a wonderful experience! Corinne was an exceptional host always striving to make sure our needs were met. She greeted us with coffee, helped us with our planning and even arranged a cab ride for us on our way home to the airport. Hospitalité et confort pour trois jours à Paris
Le logement est comme indiqué sur les photos, confortable, propre et bien équipé. Sa situation est très bonne, dans le quartier de Folie-Mericourt à côté du célèbre Le Marais. En 5 minutes vous êtes au pl. de la République avec 5 lignes de métro pour aller partout. Corinne est très accueillante. Nous avons offert toutes les facilités pour check-in et chek-out, et intéressé à nous donner toutes les explications ou informations dont nous avons besoin, mais respectueux de notre indépendance et de la vie privée (en fait, nous sommes seulement depuis le 2ème jour) . Cela a été un très bon choix de rester ici ces trois jours.

Un super séjour chez Corinne qui est une personne agréable et sympathique.
J’ai passé un excellent séjour chez Corinne. La chambre est spacieuse et très bien aménagée avec sa salle de douches et ses toilettes. L’appartement est hyper agréable. Corinne est une personne disponible qui met tout en œuvre pour que vous vous sentiez comme chez vous et vous guide pour vos déplacements au travers de la capitale. Je recommande vivement ce lieu atypique.
