Crossing apartment, quiet, not overlooked, located in a secure chalet on the ski slopes, near the ski lifts and the new "beginners' area", with a south facing balcony with a beautiful view of the Saulire, the fruit needle and Mont Vallon and a second balcony overlooking the Meribel Valley.

Spacious, comfortable, equipped for 6 people, the apartment has a large entrance, two clearances, a toilet, a bedroom with a large bed of 150 X 200, a bathroom, a second bedroom with two beds pushed together 80 X 190, a second bathroom with toilet, a comfortable lounge with television, stereo, WiFi and decorative fireplace, many closets, a kitchen equipped with oven, dishwasher, hob induction, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, iron / ironing board and vacuum cleaner. Mezzanine, a room with two beds pushed together 80 X 200.

On the ground floor, a ski locker.

The green ski slope "Partridge" is near the chalet. It has a beginners' area with ski-tow, games and treadmill. It then comes down to the resort center where the ski lifts and the gondola to Meribel valley, Courchevel, La Tania, Les Menuires, Val Thorens or Orelle.

Cleaning at the end of the stay is charged € 100.

Great on-mountain ski-in/ski out experience

We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids aged 12 and 10) from Australia and stayed in Sylvie's chalet in Mottaret for 2 weeks. It was fantastic to stay on the mountain and have the ability to ski in and ski out each day. There is a small carre-four within walking distance and ski rentals plus a short cable car ride to Mottaret village where there are more restaurants. The chalet was a great size for a young family with a decent sized kitchen and dining table and living room. There is a ski room at the bottom of the stairs which was very handy. The chalet was a great size although there were not many staples (no tea/coffee etc). We brought a kindle fire to plug into the TV so we could watch Netflix/Disney./amazon etc if the kids finished skiing early. The apartment also had a loft bedroom (although very steep stairs to walk down) but was good for the kids to escape into. Sylvie was a fantastic host and was very responsive to all our requests. All in all it was a fantastic holiday and I would very much recommend Sylvie's chalet and would definitely stay there again.

Excellent sejour

On a passé un très agréable séjour à Meribel Mottaret, avec pleins d’activités pour l’été. Habitués des vacances en montagne l’hiver, on a été séduits par les possibilités offertes l’été. L’appartement etait parfait, très pratique et les enfants ont adoré le lit en mezzanine.

Really nice apartment and good location

The apartment is spacious, cleverly organised and arranged with taste and thoughtfulness. Location is by the pistes so that is excellent, also coming back via Chaudane up 1 stop is super easy. Easy communication with owner throughout. I advise other travellers to reserve their parking well in advance on the meribel site. There are very limited parking possibilities in fact. Finally we arrived late in evening and path was frozen, so do the anti slip soles :) Overall our stay was really excellent thank you

This is a terrific property located just beside the slopes. Proper ski-in/ski-out.

We were five and thoroughly enjoyed our week in Mottaret. The apartment is spot-on and extremely comfortable for two adults and three children, ranging in ages from 14 to 8 years old. The bedrooms are well proportioned with lots of storage; the kitchen is practical; and the sitting room area is perfectly cosy. We would go again.

Would stay here again

Position is great, right next to the Perdrix piste leading into Mottaret. Accommodation is good but not very spacious, with just enough room in the bedrooms. The view from the living room is great. Slightly odd that there is no exit from the building onto the piste, so you have to walk around the side. This is only a minor inconvenience. Pickup of the keys from the petrol station in Le Raffort was slightly stressful because the envelope in the box only had a misspelled version of my first name, so we were not sure that we had the right keys. All was OK when we got there though. Sylvie is a good owner, and gave us all the information we needed,

Appartement très agreable

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet appartement : décoration soignée, salon confortable pour l’après ski, chambres disposant d’un petit bureau, nombreux placards, cuisine bien équipée. L’appartement permet un accès on ne peut plus facile aux pistes et à tout le domaine des Trois Vallées, terrain de jeu fantastique pour les skieurs de tout niveau. L’appartement est très près de la navette qui permet de rejoindre la station de Meribel pour la patinoire ou la piscine, et des télécabines pour le centre de Mottaret. Les propriétaires sont très agréables et ont tout fait pour faciliter notre séjour.

This property was perfect for us in a great location, for both the skiers & non skiers amongst us, even though it was so late in the season. The little touches and attention to detail by the owners made it really feel like a home from home. I hope we get the opportunity to return.

Excellent stay, the third time

This is our third stay here, the apartment has a beautiful location right on the ski slope accessible to the entire ski resort (ski in - ski out). The cleanliness is exceptional and you feel like you’re walking into home when you arrive. The kitchen is well equipped as usual with new bathroom and sofa since we last visited. Thank you for the perfect week!

Another fabulous week at this apartment and resort, it felt like home when we walked in! Everything is on the doorstep, once we’d driven here we didn’t need the car again. Marvellous Motterat!

The property itself was very cosy, on the second floor of a purpose built apartment block right on the ski slopes. The apartment was very clean, well equipped and hosted fabulous views across the slopes right up to Mt Vallon. Whilst booking the property there was a degree of uncertainty of the height restriction of the car park. Until we arrived at Méribel-Motterat it was unclear whether we could park our 4x4 vehicle or not, however we were lucky enough to park right outside the apartment block. Additionally the car park booked wasn't in the same location so carrying of equipment/luggage would have been difficult. Whilst not necessarily the owner's problem, the concierge service that they used to manage the property failed to make the key available correctly at the pre-agreed 5pm collection time (it's worth noting that we had to collect the key ourselves from La Raffort; a different village 7.4 kms from the property). We also had to organise and pay for our own bed linen and towels from the same concierge service which we thought in itself was overpriced. Méribel-Motterat and the surrounding area is so beautiful, there's plenty to do especially for very small children with the dedicated Yeti Park on your doorstep. But be aware after the cable cars close at 7pm the bus service is pretty elusive and arranging a taxi from Méribel-Motterat centre to the apartment is 28 euros! It's worth noting that once you've arrived you won't need a car as you can ski/walk to supermarkets and local amenities. All in all, we had a fabulous holiday and we'll definitely be back, we would have given 5 stars for this holiday but we were slightly let down by the concierge service.

Just like described

Ski in - ski out appartment, everything in the appartment is like described here. Good size for ( we had 3 adults + 2 kids). Highly recommended for people who come to 3V for skiing. The entire booking process was very easy, Sylvie very helpfull and prompt with answers. Still a little too cold in February to sit on the balcony with a beer after skiing, but thye scenery is very nice on a sunny afternoon. Highly recommended for a large family or a group of 5-6 people.

Appartement directement sur les pistes

Un très comfortable appartement superbement bien placé en plein milieu des 3 vallées. L'appartement est très bien équipé avec deux salles de bains et un salon très "cosy". Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'organisation exemplaire de l'arrivée. Notre hôte était à disposition pendant tout le séjour pour répondre à d'éventuelles questions. Le garage est parfait et permet de garder la voiture à l'abri des intempéries. C'est un magnifique domaine skiable et nous reviendrons c'est certain. Merci à la famille Baron pour leur magnifique appartement.

Appartement très confortable

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour pour fêter l'année 2016 à la montage. Appartement très confortable pour 6 personnes, surtout avec ses 2 salles de bain. Equipement ménager complet. Appartement très propre. Proximité du centre de la station et des transports (bus et télécabine). Départ et retour ski au pied. Belle vue sur les montagnes et la station. On se sent tout de suite chez soi.
