Four Season Destination

Rent by the week from the middle of May until Labor Day or a two-day minimum from Labor day to the middle of May!

3,400 sq ft – located on the 45th parallel in the center of northern Michigan on 150 feet of the sandy shoreline of the county’s largest “all-sports” lake.

This lakefront, air-conditioned home has four suites, each containing 2 double beds and a full bath, plus 2 connected adjacent bedrooms for extra guests or children. There is free WiFi and cable TV. In total there are 14 beds of various sizes.

A cathedral ceiling great room with a double sided stone fireplace, an enclosed sun porch room and a large open deck overlook a spacious lawn leading to a wonderful, child safe walk-out swimming beach with a dock, paddle boat, row boat, canoe, fire pit and a spectacular sunset.

A public boat launch is 400 yards away…

There is also a very large open back lot for extra parking for snowmobiles, lawn games, a basketball short court and more…

This is truly a four seasons destination with activities for everyone…!

1. Watersports – 5 mile long Otsego Lake is perfect for all water activities – boating, skiing & swimming….
2. Fishing - headwaters of 5 renowned trout streams – Black, Pigeon, Sturgeon, Manistee and the Au Sable…Otsego Lake is stocked by the DNR…
3. “Golf Mecca” – we are located across the street from Marsh Ridge and Michywe courses and 17 championship courses to challenge you at modest rates are located a short drive away including Tree Tops, The Loon, The ClaSsic and The Gaylord Club.
4. Snowmobiling – miles of groomed trails in all directions right from our cabin for long distance or daily local loops…located on The North Central Trail 4/7 leading to 300 miles of groomed trails.
5. Skiing – cross country or downhill on 150 average annual inches of snowfall – Boyne Mountain, Otsego Club and Treetops near by.
6. Hunting – Thousands of acres of state land nearby hold abundant small game, birds, turkey and Deer…
7. Sightseeing – Less than 1 hour drive to Traverse City, Mackinac Island, Petoskey, Charlevoix and Harbor Springs. Spectacular fall color tours begin here.

Great Getaway!

We took several customers on a snowmobile trip and wanted easy access to the trails, an area to grill and a nice place for all of us to stay together. Very pleased with the home and the entire process. Would recommend to anyone, groups big or small!

Another good stay

This was our second stay at this rental and it was as successful as our first. The accomodations were fine, the lake was great for chilldren, and the availability of local golfing and biking met our needs.

We loved the place. The house was very nice and in very good shape. It was nice and clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pans. The grandchildren loved it, they got to play in the water and outside. We enjoyed the water toys too. The kids did alot of golfing, they love the courses near by. We would love to stay at the place again. Thank you very much

We had a great time staying at this beautiful place in Gaylord right on lake otsego. The house was spacious and as advertised right on the lake. Really enjoyed the large communal areas to get together and spend time with everyone.

Very nice

Very nice house and it's huge with many seating areas. The yard and (tiny) beach are great. But a few areas for improvement are worth mentioning. Please add lifejackets for those using the water toys. The screens to the upstairs windows were not installed, but rather leaning against the wall. The sheets in some beds were very old/pilled. (The towels were fabulous!) Finally, those with allergies would appreciate if unscented detergent was used in the laundry. Having said all that, if you need a spacious house with lots of room and a nice, private waterfront yard, this is a good choice. Great sunsets!

Vacation fun.

The house worked well for our group of 8 adults and 2 children, although it could use a little refreshing or updating. There was plenty of room for everyone. The lake and beach were great for children and lake activities, and the property's proximity to golf courses, walking paths and bike trails was certainly a plus.

Puggini Family Vacation

Very fun week. Swimming not as often due to the weather, but fished and played on the grassy back yard. Beautiful beach view and quiet neighborhood. Always a wonderful time being with family.

Great location for winter activities and close to many good restaurants.

Girls weekend at this location was perfect. A bed for everyone and 5 bathrooms. Large great room accommodated 11 of us sitting comfortably and a large table for cards and games. We would definitely enjoy staying here again.
