About this property

Luxuriously appointed one-bedroom condo in the Union Building (built 2014) in the heart of downtown Victoria, BC. (If this unit is booked, please also see our other listing at same location Vrbo/1024853.)

A perfect location 1/2 a block from the Inner Harbour, the building spans the entire block between Chinatown to the north and Market Square to the south.

Our top-floor suite affords a spectacular south-facing view over the heritage brick buildings of Old Town, to the inner harbour and Olympic Mountains beyond. Enjoy spectacular sunsets from the small balcony or the living room's comfortable leather furniture.

The 9-foot ceilings and full-height windows allow lots of natural light. The bedroom has a comfy queen-size bed ... and room-darkening blinds for your afternoon naps.

Extra guests can be accommodated with the queen-size sofa-bed, and we also have a Pak'N'Play + bedding for your little one. The full kitchen has new stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to prepare gourmet meals.

In-suite laundry is provided, and other amenities include telephone, cable + a Smart 4K UHDTV, Netflix, free Wifi internet, air-conditioning, board games, and 1 parking spot in our enclosed, underground parkade.

The harbour ferry stops one block away ... take a tour of the Gorge waterway or go for fish & chips at Fisherman's Wharf.

There are numerous excellent restaurants within a few blocks, including Swan's Brewpub, II Terrazzo, ulla, Green Cuisine Vegetarian, Canoe Brewpub, Brasserie L'Ecole, to name just a few.

We will meet you upon arrival (we don't do self check-in), to ensure that you have everything you need and answer any questions that you may have. We will be happy to send you info and links prior to your stay, for everything from our recommended restaurant list to transportation info (even bike and kayak rentals)... just ask!

Winter Retreat

Property was as advertised on VRBO. Owners met us at the entrance and showed us around the condo on day1 and connected with us about a week later to make sure we had everything we needed. Condo is central to downtown Victoria with its many restaurants and attractions. My wife and I were very comfortable in this condo unit and extremely secure building.

Close to everything

What a wonderful spot to use as a home base!! It’s literally next door to China town and we were able to walk to everything downtown. I enjoyed standing on the small balcony and watching the activities gone on below. It’s a very clean, comfortable, well stocked place to stay.

Great location for a couples vacation

Great location close to lots of great dining. The hosts are incredibly kind and caring. We cannot say enough good things about them both. The unit was clean and very comfortable for the two of us. I would definitely reccomend this place for a quiet little get away. Definitely not good for families. The security of the bldg is excellent. Thanks again to Karen and Tom. Best stay!!!

The owner met us on our check in time and spent time to explain how to get in and out with our car and on foot and where to go to eat. The place is very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The washer and dryer helps a lot especially with swimming, hiking, and outdoor activities. Awesome view of the city, the sea, and the mountains. Bathroom is very clean, kitchen is well equipped. The area has a lot of restaurants to go to. Very close to FanTan Alley, awesome breakfast places, and authentic chinese food!!! Only 15 min walk to the Legislature. Close to amenities. Felt safe and parking is easy.

Bright spot

Fabulous location, easy check in and out process, the owners were great communicators. The unit is bright and comfortable with a great view. All the little extras like snuggly blankets, teas, coffee, shampoo&conditioner, were available making traveling so easy. We will definitely be back.

Great Victoria Location

Great last-minute getaway!

We were fortunate enough to book this at the last minute and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The condo is located in Chinatown close to lots of eateries and attractions within walking distance. The host was wonderful at check-in and we were very comfortable.

Absolutely Perfect!

Condo was super clean, modern and comfortable. Building was quiet and felt safe and secure. Perfectly located, walking distance to points of interests in the downtown and surrounding areas. Property manager was helpful and very informative. She recommended the breakfast at the Shanzee’s Biscuit Cafe across the street and it was amazing! We can’t wait to return!!!!

Could not have been better. THE BEST

So, we knew the condo was downtown, but gads, getting checked in, finding the garage - all daunting. Till we called the lady who manages the condo. We were pulled over to see if we could check in early - and what does she do - but come find us and lead us to the garage, get us parked, and take us up to the condo. Service way beyond. And then there is the condo - clean, bright, gads, just plain perfect. THANK YOU!

Long awaited Holiday

Karen's property is exactly as described....perfect location right next to Fan Tan Alley and China town and close to the Harbour. The underground parking was great feature...no worries about leaving your car. We were finally able to travel after 2 years of Covid restrictions and this was the Perfect place to Land and start making memories.....Thank you

Clean, contemporary suite and building with excellent hosts AND parking. I did find it a touch on the warm side thus expect it wouldn't be particularly comfortable in high heat summer. This said, perhaps there's ac that we didn't notice. Overall an excellent suite in walking distance of everything.

A gem in the city

This gem of a condo has a wonderful location and we felt safe going out at night for dinner . Short walking distance to the harbour or city central . Parking was a bonus . Our visit was for my Mothers 88 birthday . We were close to restaurants, shopping and sightseeing . Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Hosts communicated through the process . I had forgotten a sweater and Margaret texted me same day and made arrangements for it to be mailed . Would not hesitate to recommend this condo
