Lovely little cottage just right for staying in the winter, with a fire place and jacuzzi tub right off the main road for Maggie, it’s had to beat, thank you so much!!
We really enjoyed ourselves here. There is enough "seclusion," and the quiet hours spent sitting in a rocking chair on the porch was priceless. The Jacuzzi is a real treat, as is the strong WiFi signal and the streaming service on the Roku TV really made it nice. Place setty for at least two, with enough extra so as not to have to wash some
This cozy cabin had some basics for a nice stay, however it was missing some key things. The Wi-Fi was out for our entire stay, a couple of light bulbs were missing from an already dark space. There was no decent coffee or coffee maker, other than a single cup with bagged pods that were just low quality. When I messaged the owner on the first night, she said she'd bring a coffee maker next morning. I planned to tell her about the light bulbs when she came. She never did come, so when we messaged her that evening, she said she had forgotten. She apologized but blamed the light bulbs on chance, and the wifi on the internet company. Offered us to stay one more night for free but we already had reservations in our next town. I asked for a discount or comped night and she just forwarded me the email she had gotten from the internet company.. Zero response, zero efforts to compensate us for an overpaid stay. Told me I should have tried the coffee shops in town, however we were awake 3 hours before coffee shops even opened up. And who wants to have to get in a car and drive for their 1st cup of morning coffee? Not my idea of comfort.
So yeah- cute, clean cabin but left a few things to be desired. Not worth what we paid.
This little wonder nestled in the Smokey Mountains at Maggie Valley, NC was delightful. Perfect location to walk or short drive to restaurants, music and Wheels Thru Time museum. Property was incredible. Everything that Caroline told us in the listing was true. I highly recommend staying at Sweet Serenity. Certainly is better than any hotel I can think of in the area.
The online pictures do not do justice to this cabin. From it's cozy feel to the modern touches, everything about being here was so relaxing! Quiet and just a short walk to a wonderful babbling creek... wish we had brought our fishing poles! The host responded quickly to one glitch with the TV and we were good for the rest of our stay. Look forward to coming back again!
Perfect little hideaway from the hustle and bustle
It was cute, quaint, and very ideal for just two of us. It had a wonderful jaccuzi right beside the bed. Could heat up the room very easily. No crazy rules to abide to. Miss Caroline and Kaley (i think that's their names) were very responsive. The jacuzzi was WONDERFUL and the bed was SO comfy. If you're lookin for a little cabin to get away from the world. Come here. And go check out the Cataloochee Valley trail. But be careful! Its a slightly hazardous road to go up and down since its leading down into a valley. We seen SO Many Elks. And the river and connections to it were absolutely stunning and the sounds were beautiful. And go check out the ladies @ Country Vittles restaurant before they close in the afternoon, they fix some good stuff! Located in the heart of Maggie Valley on the main drag.
This was the perfect getaway cabin for us. I live 5 miles away caring for a Mom w dementia. We felt like we were far away and enjoyed the peace of serenity.
Great cabin, it was charming and we loved the experience! I would recommend it to anyone.
Not only that lol but just a couple day run way not to far and we came back after 2 nights just in time to get back to work!! The stress factors that typically would ruin the experience regardless didn’t happen we had one hiccup contacted my lady an handled it like a professional I’m not kidding mam you MADE my trip I will be back!!!!

Quaint cabin in peaceful area
Ill start with the good! Perfect little cabin nestled in a great quiet area of maggie valley. Almost everything i wanted out of the booking.
Now heres the bad!
In room jacuzzi tub is in-operable, jets dont work due to the water fill line being plumbed into them instead or being plumbed in properly.
Jacussi tub was constantly draining the water off with the drain plug engaged.
Bathroom shower water line has a terrible Whining noise while showering.
1 of the tilesin the kitchenette was broken upon arrival.
Abundance of cob webs in the peak of the cabin around the ceiling fan.
Bathroom heater didnt work.
Also i was wanting to address all of this with the owner instead of leaving review but unable to during due to lack of cell service.
This was an amazing vacation. Now we will have to come back once a year because now this place has become very special since we got engaged here this trip.
Loved this property. Everything was clean. Perfect for a weekend getaway. In walking distance of fairgrounds, which was a huge plus! Can’t wait to come back!
This place is right next to where we go to mini nats. Always conventional and so clean! Thank you for having us 2nd year in a row. Can't wait to go ahead and book again next year.
Cabin was cozy on the exceptionally cold weekend we stayed. We enjoyed staying in and relaxing the whole time. Jacuzzi tub was great! Bed was very comfy. We enjoyed our stay!
We rent cabins several times a year and this is the first time i’ve ever really had a problem. Blinds are broken, tile floor cracked, jacuzzi tub had black stuff coming from jets, shower made a loud whistle, heat in bathroom did not work and the book with restaurants and things to do in the area seriously needs to be updated.
