In the Old village of Polignano an artist's home, he realized a perfect joint of art and useless in restoring and furnishing this ancient building.
It's a 3 levels house consisting of 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen size bed and 1 with twin bed, 3 kitchens, 2 living rooms, 3 bathrooms and terraces. Each level has its own bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen.
The house has 2 terraces. The first one is completely supplied as a living room and kitchen with an helpfull external shower, table and chairs and barbecue; the second one has a nice sea view enjoing froma meditative seat. A unique house for an amazing staying comfortable for 2, 4 up to 7 occupants.

Polignano a Mare
Mario is a lovely and responsive host. He was always available to answer questions. The location of the property right in the beautiful center of Polignano a Mare is perfect. We were so happy with our stay.

Lovely apartment in the old town
Great old-town-apartment with a great host Mario. In fact it is a house with three floors plus two terraces. Seaview from the top terrace! Everything you need is in walking distance.

Great location
The apartment was so close to everything - amazing location and we parked right outside the door. Mario was so helpful and accommodating - he is a great host. The beds were comfortable and the showers had great pressure and hot water, the apartment was stocked with all kitchen items needed, but no stove if you need one. My kids loved the unit having 3 floors. No AC so be prepared for warm nights. We would definitely recommend!

Great value in a great town
Our month in Casa di Liska was even better than we had hoped in every way. Great value in a great location. A scenic, friendly and truly Italian town and a most pleasant host. We entertained relatives and friends in perfect local holiday comfort. A very typical Italian house, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Ideal for an extended family or two couples with children. Not as much privacy as we had (unreasonably) hoped when for a while we had three unrelated couples. As advertised, bed 5/6 is a pull out lounge suite in the main living space and separated from the bed 3/4 only by a curtain. Beds 7/8 are best suited for children..

Worlds best location
Despite the clutter in the property this was a rockstar location and very well suited for our stay. We were 4 single mums and each floor had its own kitchen and bathroom which gave us plenty of space to spread out. The outdoor areas were hot but amazing and Mario our host was very easy to deal with. We were very late due to a delayed flight and he waited hours for us at the property. I totally recommend this property for adults, too many stairs for any kids.

Das Haus ist nicht mehr ganz so toll wie auf den Fotos... es gibt keine Aussen Dusche mehr ... im unteren Bad nur kaltes Wasser....und manche Dinge sollten etwas besser gewartet werdenr. Aber die Lage ist super... nur wenige Meter vom Centrum entfernt und die Nachbarn sind extrem freundlich.. Mario ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber... ...

Vacanze apprezzate per la bellezza del paese
Abbiamo soggiornato in questa casa dal 03/08 al 15/08/2020. Le vacanze sono state piacevoli grazie alla bellezza del paese e del suo incantevole centro storico. L’appartamento non ha rispecchiato in pieno le nostre aspettative, che erano forse molto alte, essendoci basati sul costo dell’affitto. Presentava delle mancanze per noi fondamentali, tipo frigo capiente presente solo al piano terra, mentre nei piani superiori c’erano solo due frigo molto piccoli, in cui era praticamente impossibile fare una spesa un po’ più consistente. Il lavello della cucina del secondo piano molto scomodo per lavare le stoviglie. Per ragioni di spazio manca il bidet in tutti e due i bagni. I terrazzi erano molto belli peccavano solo di alcuni particolari che avrebbero sicuramente dato modo di usufruirne in pieno. La casa comunque per chi non cerca la comodità assoluta rimane comunque piacevole, soprattutto per la sua posizione .

Zentrale Lage und super Dachterrasse
Mario ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber, der bei allen Eventualitäten zur Seite steht. Die Lage des Hauses ist optimal, um alle wichtigen Dinge gut zu erreichen. Vom Bahnhof kann man für 2,50€ nach Bari fahren. Das Haus von Mario war für uns optimal um Apulien zu erkunden. Danke Mario, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Casa vacanza incantevole
Sono stata a Polignano in settembre con un’amica per 4 giorni. Il paese è un incanto, tutto da visitare e da gustare (anche in senso gastronomico, si mangia benissimo in Puglia!) belle le spiagge. L’appartamento di Mario è notevole, ristrutturato con sapienza e arredato con creatività e gusto. In pieno centro, comodo a tutto, non manca nulla e ci sono due terrazze dove godersi la vista ed il relax! Il proprietario è di una cortesia d’altri tempi, ci ha dato molte informazioni utili. Segnalo solo che l’appartamento è su tre piani con scale ripide, non consigliato per anziani o bambini piccoli.

Vacanza a Polignano
E' stato un piacevole soggiorno, in una struttura a ridosso del centro storico di Polignano, casa accogliente e con tutto ciò che ci occorreva, anche il secchiello per mettere in fresco il vino, da gustare nella graziosissima terrazza con vista sui tetti e sul mare di Polignano. Il proprietario, una persona squisita che ci ha messo a nostro agio e consigliato sulle esperienze da fare. Una bellissima vacanza in un posto incantevole.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans une maison originale, fonctionnelle, très bien équipée. L'emplacement est idéal, à deux pas de la vieille ville dans un quartier résidentiel charmant. La vue depuis la terrasse est sublime !

Knusse accommodatie met heerlijk terras
Een mooi en knus en vol bijzondere kunst (afkomstig van gastheer, Mario) ingericht huisje vlakbij zee en centrum. We werden zowel opgehaald als terug naar de luchthaven gebracht door Mario, een zeer aimabele en gastvrije host. Wij komen graag weer!

Quirky apartment, close to the centro storico.
We had a wonderful week here - the apartment is a little quirky. We mainly used the first floor room - which combines a bedroom area, living room and small kitchen, it also has a small balcony overlooking the street. We also made good use of the main and upper roof terraces - it was lovely to sit right at the top in the evening with a cold beer and watch the sun go down over the sea, The apartment is in a good location - ony 5-10mins from the town centre. There are some lovely restaurants on neighbouring streets - as we as a great a mini supermercato, veg shop, fish shop, bread shop and butchers. Polignano is also a good base for visiting the wider area. One tip: is coming by car, turn off at Polignano Sud, its a much more direct route. Parking is on street - and most of the streets are one-way, but we always managed to find somewhere close by to park.

Property with lots of character in the heart of a lovely seaside town
Had a great week at this property, Mario was extremely helpful patient with our total lack of Italian. Close to all points of local interest in the town however the street was quiet. Property was clean and tidy with all the required amenities in place. Would definitely recommend this property due to its character, location and friendly helpful nature of people running it.

Our perfect house in the old town
My boyfriend and I were looking for an affordable holiday in Italy and decided to go to the amazing Puglia. We were lucky to find this very cosy and well decorated place right in the centre of the beautiful Polignano a Mare. The house was perfectly located as it was close to many restaurants (5-15 mn walk) but was in a very calm and local street. There was a fan above the bed which was very helpful when the night was warm. The roof terraces allowed us to eat outside which was definitely a plus when we were feeling like cooking. All ingredients could be bought very closely to the house and we tried all the region's finest such as buratta, seafood, pasta ... At dusk, the panoramic view on the sea and the old town was unbelievable. We gave ourselves the challenge to go to a different beach everyday and we had plenty of choice ! Cala Paura could be reached by foot, Calla Fetente by 'tuktuk' and the insane natural reserve Torre Guacato by car. We would like to give a special thanks to Mario, our host who was very prompt to answer any of our questions, gave us very good restaurant recommendations and did his best to make our stay unforgettable. We will be back !

Favoloso
Prima di tutto vorrei parlare del proprietario della casa, il signor. Mario, una persona veramente molto disponibile e fantastica. Al nostro arrivo ci ha accolti nel migliore dei modi mettendoci completamente a nostro agio, ci ha mostrato la casa e tutte le sue bellissime creazioni, inoltre ci ha offerto consigli su come muoverci a polignano. La casa è molto carina, è in centro e dista pochi minuti a piedi da ogni tipo di attrazione turistica nonché dal mare. È dotata di ogni tipo oggetto possa servire, c'è persino un asse da stiro e un ferro nonché le piastrine per le zanzare e il barbeque. Il pezzo forte della casa è il terrazzo, grande e attrezzato, luogo ideale per cene anche a lume di candela (di cui è fornita la casa). Che dire è stato tutto molto bello e addirittura superiore alle nostre aspettative, porteremo polignano e la casa di liska con il signor.Mario nel cuore, sperando di tornarci preso!!! Grazie 😊

Polignano in tasca!
E` stato veramente bello essere ospiti a Casa di Liska! Sei a 10 passi (contati) dal centro della "movida" di Polignano ed a 100 dalla spiaggia di Lama Monachile; cosa volere di più? Eppure la pace e la tranquillità di questo soggiorno ne fanno una perla rara. Rumori zero, panoramica dalla terrazza quasi commovente, l'espressione artistica di Mario dentro la casa, con tutti i suoi quadri e composizioni ne fanno una casa da vivere il più possibile! E` quel tipo di casa in cui abiteremmo tutto l'anno molto volentieri. Grazie Mario per averci regalato questa splendida settimana di tranquillità.... mossa! Sandra e Tommaso

A truly unique experience
We spent one week in Polignano which was perfect. Apartment has terrace with amazing rooftop with a sea view. It's just 3 minutes to town center and beaches. Puglia is really beautiful place to spend holidays and Polignano is very well connected to all interesting cities in this region. Mario, the Owner was already waiting for us when we came from the airport. He showed us the whole place, he was very helpful and kind, recommended his favorite local restaurants. We also received welcome pack with maps and brochures, we found it very useful during our stay. The place was very clean and decorated with original art pieces created by the Owner. We would recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a true Italian experience at unique surrounding. We will truly miss the view from the rooftop :)

Fijne locatie, goede WiFi en leuke host
Parkeren is lastig in dit dorp (voor de locatie van dit appartement). Hierdoor moet je, als je elke dag de auto gaat gebruiken voor de omgeving, een stukje lopen. Het 2e minpuntje was het bed. Dit was te hard en niet fijn. Er was een slaapbank in de woonkamer, waarvan we de top hebben afgehaald. Deze hebben we op het bed gelegd. Hierdoor hebben we wel fijn kunnen slapen. De bovenverdieping hebben wij nier echt gebruikt. Mario (host) gaf aan dat de parasol kapot was (gegaan), waardoor je dus niet fijn buiten kunt zitten op het dakterras. Wij hadden het appartement ook juist uitgekozen voor de buitenruimte, zodat we bijvoorbeeld ontbijt op dat terras konden eten. Paar kleine puntjes, de rest is dikke prima. Mario had zelfs nog een klein cadeautje voor ons na afloop van het verblijf. Erg aardig.

Una casa da "scoprire"
Ho trovato questa casa durante la mia ricerca di un alloggio nella splendida meta turistica di Polignano. Senza troppi giri di parole ne sono rimasta incantata e ho subito scritto al Signor Mario per capire se fosse libera nei giorni scelti da me e dal mio fidanzato. Siamo stati fortunati in quanto la casa era ancora disponibile ma non soltanto per questo motivo; abbiamo trovato un proprietario che più che un "affitta case" è una persona di grande umanità, simpatia ma soprattutto generosità. Al giorno d'oggi persona rara a mio avviso. Il signor Mario è un artista sotto tutti i punti di vista, ha dato forma ad una casa bellissima che abbiamo scoperto giorno dopo giorno durante la nostra permanenza. Opere d'arte dal significato profondo che ti fano sentire immersa in un luogo magico che riesce a diventare una sfera incantata in cui sentirsi coccolati. Salendo lungo le scale si giunge al primo terrazzo: magia pura! Abbiamo trascorso molte delle nostre serate cenando in terrazza avvolti dal piacevole profumo del pesce grigliato sul barbecue di cui è provvista la casa...ma le sorprese non finiscono perché tramite un'altra piccola scaletta si raggiunge un secondo terrazzo con una vista mozzafiato sulla città: sembra di vivere un sogno, sorseggiare del buon vino comodamente seduti sulla "panchina meditativa"ed intanto godere della visione del mare. La casa è dotata di tanti comfort ed il signor Mario è sempre disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza, basta scrivergli un messaggio ed è sempre pronto a dare aiuto! La casa è molto fresca e dona una grande tranquillità nonostante sia centralissima. Io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo trascorso una settimana meravigliosa immersi nel pieno centro storico di Polignano, basta svoltare l'angolo per trovare bar, ristoranti e la famosissima grotta palazzese, meta tanto ambita e nota in tutto il mondo. Che dire...torneremo sicuramente!!!

Beautiful home, Ideal location
Mario's home in Polignano was exactly what I envisioned for our stay in this picturesque town. The house was immaculately clean, intriguingly decorated, and full of everything necessary for a comfortable stay. There was plenty of room for my husband, myself, and our 3 young children - the roof top terraces were a lovely bonus for extra space and quiet pass time. The location of the home was also perfect. It is on a quiet street yet it is just a few minutes walk to the historic core and tourist bustle. There were restaurants and grocery stores just a stone's through away as well. Everything was very close. Only the beaches were a bit more of a distance by foot but the walks were still very pleasurable . The famous cave beach was about 10 minutes walk and the next closest one, Cala Paura, was about 15-20 min. In addition to our wonderful experience at this home, Mario's incredible hospitality made our stay there most satisfying. He always quickly responded to all questions I had leading up to the trip and when we arrived, he was there to greet us and show us the home (and gave us some thoughtful tokens for all of us to keep). When we had a concern while we were there I called him and he immediately responded and contacted a local to give us a hand within minutes. He clearly always had our best interest at heart and was there again to wish us well on our departure and to inquire if there was anything about the home that needed extra attention before the next guests arrived. Our 9 days at this property was truly the Italian experience I was hoping for. Grazie Mario!

Un bel 4 stelle (5 stelle non l'ho mai votato).
Volevo scrivere una bella recensione ma purtroppo.....l'hanno fatto già in tanti, tantissimi ben 25! Cosa posso aggiungere di mio? Confermare che è una casa molto originale e consigliabile, dentro il bel centro storico di Polignano ma appena fuori dalla curiosità dei troppi turisti che la sera la invadono. La casa è su tre piani questo presuppone un minimo di organizzazione della vita di tutti i giorni per non dover fare continuamente su e giù. Ci eravamo attrezzati per fare colazione a piano terra e la cena invece nella magnifica terrazza al terzo piano. A dormire invece 2 persone al primo e 2 al piano terra. Non mi resta che ringraziare il gentilissimio sig.Mario per la non formale accoglienza.

Fantastisch appartement
Heerlijk appartement in het centrum van pogliano en toch rustig! Mario is de meest aardige host ooit; hij haalde ons op bij het vleigveld in bari en stond erop ons ook weet terug te brengen. Lief! Het appartement is super fijn! Ruimte genoeg en een heerlijk terras. Een aanrader voor iedereen die Puglia wil ontdekken....

Beautiful house, well located
We spent 9 nights in Mario's beautiful property. Ideally located close to the historical centre of Polignano and close to restaurants and the town beach. Very well equipped and lots of space. The rooftop terrace was a joy in the evenings, sitting with a nice glass of wine looking out at the Adriatic Sea. Mario is a very gracious and welcoming host. Thank you, Mario.
