About this property
Quaint Home In Town With Rural Feel!
Welcome to Desert Blue
This home is for 4 guests or less. It is not able to accommodate large trailers as it is on a narrow access road and a dead end. It would be difficult to turn around.
Our remodeled home is in the heart of Moab but feels a world away. The house is situated down a dirt lane which turns into a private road with very little traffic. It is quiet and peaceful with a truly rural feel. Our location is ideal! It is easy walking distance to main street; the recreation center with pool and fitness center; paved bike path and many other conveniences of town.
This older home has been remodeled. We have custom cabinets, granite counter tops, beautiful hard wood floor through out and new kitchen appliances. We have three bedrooms and two bathrooms, each with walk in showers. The large bedroom has a king size memory foam bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed with its own full bathroom. The third bedroom has two twin beds and is very small. The furnishings are uniquely rustic and eclectic with a luxurious at home feel.
Enjoy sitting or eating on the back patio in the large newly landscaped yard. We have a BBQ grill on the patio and also other seating areas around the property for you to relax and enjoy the surrounding red rock views. This lot is very private!
Going to town? No need to deal with parking when visiting main street. We have plenty of parking.
This is a great place to unwind after all your Moab adventures. .... come, put up your feet and enjoy!

Absolutely the best 3 bedroom house to stay at in Moab. Walking distance to everywhere downtown and quiet neighbors when you just want to chill inside or outside the house. This newly remodeled house is in fantastic condition and has everything you'll need, and the host quickly replies to any question that you may have. Book it now before someone else reads this review and grabs this ideal rental house before you can.
Very nice. Everything that was described about the home there. Nicely laid out and very comfortable. More spacious than I expected. Highly recommend this VRBO.
House was nice and was equipped with everything you might need. Very convenient to town. We loved that we could just walk to town. Enjoyed our stay very much 😊
This is a terrific location from which to experience Moab. Can walk into to town and main attractions (Arches, Dead Horse Point) /mountain biking trails are all within easy 30-minute drives (Arches about 10). It was exceptionally clean, well maintained, comfortable and quiet (Patio is a nice place to have a morning coffee or evening drink). Truly did feel you were isolated but as mentioned everything is very convenient to get to. Host is a pleasure and I would definitely recommend!! One of the best Vrbo homes in which I have ever said.
This house was wonderful! So clean and we had everything we needed! Beds and towels were very comfortable and plenty. You can walk to Main Street where most everything is located and a very short drive to The Arches and Canyonlands national parks. Host was amazing to communicate with! Would definitely stay there again!
This home is awesome! Lots of space inside and outside, modern appliances and comfortable beds. Walking distance to the main shopping area and excellent restaurants (try Thai Bella). Highly recommend - we'll be back 😁
Great property in a quiet location with easy access to main street and local restaurants.
House was very clean and beds were very comfortable. House is also well apportioned.
Would highly recommend this property.
What a wonderful property! Located on a quiet side street in downtown Moab but within walking distance of the town’s wonderful shops and restaurants. A sweet little town! The property is meticulously maintained and was absolutely spotless. It might be the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed at. The kitchen was stocked and easy to cook in, the bed was very comfortable as well as the living room area and the bathroom was nicely updated as was the entire house. A true gem! Andrea was very responsive and was a wonderful host.
If you are considering this place just book it! You won’t be disappointed!
My wife and I stayed at Andrea's home for the entire week. This place was excellent. Andrea was a great host and was very responsive. The house actually surprised me when we saw it. The “vibe” of the home was fantastic…! Andrea added special touches beyond what you might expect from a rental property. Every room is exceptionally clean with comfortable beds, plenty of household necessities, great kitchen and backyard, plus plenty of parking. Location was spot-on. We really enjoyed being able to walk into town (only 2 blocks) for dinner, drinks, desserts, and shopping. The home is super private and had a very nice back patio for relaxing after a day of hiking around. It had recently been remodeled and I agree with other reviews that everything was in excellent taste and character for Moab. We 100% will be back!
We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at this wonderful property. Clean, comfortable beds, walking distance to restaurants and shops, and well equipped kitchen. We especially liked relaxing on the patio in the afternoons after our hikes in Arches and Canyon Lands. Would stay again
This was a great place to stay for our 4 days in the Moab area exploring some of the national and state parks.
Beds were comfy, outside covered deck was a great place for Happy hour, great stove, lots of dishes and much more. We especially loved walking into town!
This is a pretty little house on a dead end street - right near town, so you're close to amenities.
I travel with a handicapped husband - he uses a rolling walker and cane. For the most part, this house suited us well. Although the street in front of the property is gravel, I could pull up right next to the poured concrete front walkway. There are NO STEPS inside or outside the house, other than a raised threshhold. Once inside the house, accessibility was good, except that all the rugs in the house, large and small, tended to rumple and bulge under the feet. The showers were large, but a grab bar and hand-held shower would have been appreciated.
The towels were wonderful - very plush.
We also appreciated that we could access the house a little early.
If we were to come back to Moab, I would stay here again.
This place was excellent. Andrea was a great host and was very responsive. The house was exceptionally clean with comfortable beds, plenty of household necessities, great kitchen and backyard, plus plenty of parking. It is about 2 blocks from all downtown restaurants and shops (3 to 5 minute walk), but is very quiet and secluded from the area (no noise's from traffic). From here we visited Arches NP (15 min), Canyonlands NP (40 min to visitor center) and 10 minutes to Sand Flats Recreation park for Jeeping. We kept the Jeep Wagoneer under the carport and the rented 4x4 Jeep in the drive area in front of the houses front entrance area. If trailering a jeep or razor the parking area may be a little tight for a turnaround but backing in would make it happen. Secluded street access. I would highly recommend this home for a stay in Moab and the surrounding areas. King and Queen beds with two twins in another room, washer dryer, Mr. Coffee with bowl shaped filters, dishwasher, comfortable couches and chairs, TV and internet, great kitchen table, and excellent outdoor covered porch and furniture to relax.
Great location, easy walking distance to downtown but it felt very private. The house has a great layout with a bedroom and bathroom on each side of the house with kitchen/dining/living room in between. The outdoor patio area was lovely for morning coffee and late night relaxing. We'd definitely stay here again!

We live in Utah and first arrived in Moab 30 years ago. It has been a very special place for us ever since. We are often working, climbing, hiking and exploring here. We purchased this property in June 2014 and have spent the summer working on it. We hope you can enjoy the area as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
We loved the quiet lot next to town, lots of wild life because we are close to the creek, walking to the town for coffee and gelato, close to national parks close to restaurants, close to the river, close to climbing , close to bike trails , lots of exploring!
What makes this property unique
The creative fences we built. mostly all native plants in the yard with low water usage, In town location with out of town feel
