About this property

Modern and spacious family home - walking distance from beach and town.

This is a very comfortable home in Flexbury, Bude, suitable for families. The house is only a 5 minute walk away from the town beaches, golf course and shops. Once you have driven to Bude you do not need to use your car again! There is a variety of independent shops, restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets in Bude.
We have renovated and extended a bungalow to create a spacious 4 bedroom semi detached house. There is a master bedroom with a superking bed and ensuite, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom and a bedroom with bunk beds. Towels and linen are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
Downstairs is a modern and comfortable open plan area with 2 sets of French doors that open onto a South facing garden with outdoor sofas, patio and lawn. There is also a gas barbecue and seating area. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped for 8 people. A stainless steel dual fuel range oven, gorenji fridge dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine (capsules not included) and a large breakfast bar. There is a utility room with washing machine, freezer, ironing board and drying area and a separate WC. The front garden has our small allotment and you are welcome to harvest produce that is ready during your stay.

Changeover day is on a Saturday, check out by 9am and arrival is from 2pm.

We had a wonderful week in this lovely house which was perfect for a big family, lots of space, so well equipped for everything, a 10 minute walk into town and 5 minutes from the beach. Perfect. Would 100% book again.

Wonderful property in great location

Beautiful property. V clean and up to date, nicely decorated and with some nice artwork. V well equiped. Lovely sun-trap garden with comfortable furniture and barbeque. Nice peaceful area but well positioned - just a few minutes walk from Crooklets beach and the town centre.

Amazing holiday home......

This was everything we hoped it would be and more.A stunning house,all the fixtures and fittings are top quality.Wanted somewhere in easy walking distance....shops and beach,but quiet location,perfect.The garden was a real bonus,somewhere for the children to play while we relaxed with drinks on the patio.Sorry to leave,it was magical...thank you.

Fabulous weeks holiday

We took our Son, Daughter in law and three granddaughters to Bude for a week and the house was amazing. Near all the amenities and Crooklets beach. It’s was very clean and had everything you could possibly need

Perfect holiday stay

Absolutely lovely home!! The garden was fantastic and the house had everything we needed. It was clean, spacious and had an easy check in. The local area is lovely and has so much to offer. We really didn’t use the cars at all and stayed in Bude for the whole week - definitely reccomend!

Gorgeous House in a great location

It was extremely clean and comfortable with all facilities provided and plenty of room to relax, property owner very friendly and welcoming. Quiet neighbourhood and a nice walk into town or the beautiful beach.

Lovely, modern home from home

Stunning house with great garden in super location

We had a lovely stay at Demelza and Toms house. The garden is perfect especially for the kids and there is plenty of space inside for two families. Location wise it is an easy walk to the beach. We would not hesitate to come back and stay again. Thanks

Wonderful house

This is one of the nicest houses we have stayed in over many years coming to Bude. We were a family of two adults two kids and two grandmas and it suited us perfectly. Recently renovated it feels new, clean, bright and spacious. Very well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glass, as well as pots pans etc. Lovely patio & garden. Walking distance to everything. The owners are friendly and helpful, before during & after our stay. Would highly recommend this fabulous house.

A very comfortable holiday home

We were 7 adults and a 17 month old child. The accommodation is clean, well maintained and exactly as described with the master bedroom and en suite being the envy of the other 5 adults. The downstairs area is spacious, well equipped, modern and ideal for a family holiday. The children's play kitchen kept our little one entertained for hours. Lovely patio area for sun bathing/relaxing, grass area for play and BBQ which we used several times. Town and beach easy to walk to so the cars were hardly used. We took advantage of the golf course which we walked to twice. Wonderful holiday - any improvements. A microwave would have been useful to us heating up toddler food.

I am from Plymouth originally and moved to Bude 14 years ago to become a Food teacher at the local secondary school. I live with my 2 daughters and husband and we would like others to enjoy the area and get to know and love Bude like we do!

Very close walking distance to the beaches, shops and the most amazing scenic views. Our home is newly extended and renovated and is finished to a high standard.
