Playa Gros is a spacious and quiet apartment with partial views of La Zurriola Beach, a step away from the emblematic Kursaal Palace. It is located in Gros, the trendy neighborhood of San Sebastián, known for its surfing atmosphere and cultural offer, such as the Jazz Festival and the Film Festival. Only 5 minutes walk from the Old Town and the city center.

It occupies the fourth floor of a building with elevator. It has three double bedrooms, a large and bright living room, two bathrooms with shower and a fully equipped kitchen with all kinds of appliances and kitchenware. The three bedrooms are oriented to a very quiet inner courtyard. The master bedroom has a 140 cm double bed, plus a built-in bathroom. The other bedrooms have four single beds, 80cm and 90cm.

Comfortable apartment in a great location

This is a nice apartment with a great view of the beach. Super location close to the beach and plenty of restaurants and bars. Old Town is only a 5 minute walk. The pictures of the apartment are accurate and furniture is comfortable. The showers are small which might not work for very large individuals. Coffee maker listed in the amenities is a percolator, but did work fine once you figure it out.

A Slice of Paradise

Love San Sebastián and staying in Gros is ideal…away from the crowds …to see the beach first thing in the morning was a great gift! Plenty of great restaurants and shops within walking distance…just a beautiful property!

Exceptional Property and Location!

Our family of four just stayed at this property. I highly recommend the property, location is across the street from the beach. You are surrounded by restaurants, bars, everything you need for a vacation. When we return to San Sebastian, we will stay here again. Thanks.

Incredible!

We are a family of five that stayed comfortably. Gabrielle was INCREDIBLE to work with. The location, views and walking distance to everything was better than we imagined. Highly recommend if wanting to stay across the street from the beach and a five minute walk into Old Town.

Sehr zentrale Lage direkt am Strand

Die Wohnung ist geräumig und die Lage ist sehr gut, man läuft nur 3 Minuten zum Strand und 15 Minuten in die Altstadt. Restaurants, Supermärkte und Bäcker, Geschäfte etc. sind direkt um die Ecke. Einziges kleines Manko ist, dass der Balkon zu klein ist, so dass man ihn praktisch nicht nutzen kann.

Fantastic Apartment

The apartment is located in a great neighborhood steps away from the "Surfer Beach" and close to shops and restaurants. It is also just across the bridge from the Old Town. It is well-furnished, clean and very comfortable. We had a great stay! The only thing that we couldn't find was a cutting board.

A stay to remember

Perfectly located, parking across street. Great restaurants all around. Just a short walk across the river to the old town. Great beaches. Contact person met us as scheduled. Quick review of the apartment, gave us some great ideas for places of interest and eating. All and all a really great 4 days.

The location is very good, the apartment was dirty and not well maintained, the bathroom are so small that you can’t take a shower, I won’t stay again in this apartment again.The management company was good. The rest very bad.

June stay in San Sebastian

The apartment is beautiful, and we loved the Gros location, which was a short walk over the bridge to the Old Town. My only criticism is that the kitchen could be better equipped. It was missing a cutting board, corkscrew, basic spices (salt and pepper), paper towels. It also could use a better coffeemaker to make coffee for more guests at a time. Overall, though, highly recommended!

Fantastic place in Gros area of San Sebastián!

Great place for our family of 5 with kids ages 8-12. Plenty of room for everyone and great location and views from the balcony. Highly recommend taking a hiking trip along the Camino de Santiago (very close) to Pasajes.

Great location & comfortable

From the minute I booked the apartment till the time we checked in the communication was fantastic! Gabriella responded to queries quicky - Marco arrived at the apartment to let us in within 2 minutes and the rest of our stay was great. The apartment is located in an excellent spot - you can watch the surfers at Gros Beach from your lounge chair. There is plenty of space in the apartment - 3 bedrooms (1 queen size) 1 room with 2 singles that can be made into a double & another room with another 2 single beds (& a sofa that can be made into a bed if need by the looks of things) The linen was comfy and towels luxurious (which is nice after 8 weeks of travel & some not so nice towels!) A pretty well stocked kitchen with utensils & crockery - however you do have to provide everything if you want to eat in - there are no basics provided at all - which didn’t stress us - there is a supermarket less than 100m from the apartment that you can stock up on all the things you need. The apartment is only just over the bridge from The Old Town & was super quiet - which was one thing we loved! It’s easy to get to from the airport - grab a cab & the taxi cab drop you at the front door (taxis aren’t allowed into the old town so much so it makes it harder to get dropped off or picked up). There’s a bus stop on the opposite side of the beach road (you can see it from your lounge window too) - and plenty of spots to have a meal or half a dozen pinxtos. Marco will provide you with a map & a list of plenty of places to eat - whether you’re after pinxtos recommendations or Michelin Star restaurants. The only couple of suggestions I would make for the property - an extra couple of tea towels to dry dishes (there was only 1) Some extra dish washing liquid & perhaps a chopping board (rather than having to use a plate). Would ABSOLUTELY recommend this property if you are visiting San Sebastián - location - customer service & the property itself - all top notch.
