About this property

ONE Self catering caravan accommodation for holidays only a five minutes walk from Black Rock Sands beach with views of the mountains of Snowdonia in North Wales.

DOUBLE GLAZED & CENTRAL HEATING
We have on offer a comfortable modern 4 berth caravan situated near the farm bungalow on a working farm surrounded by peaceful green countryside. . There are views across fields towards Moel y Gest and Snowdonia. Situated within a five minute walk of Black Rock Beach which has miles of golden sands. There is also access to paths leading up Moel y Gest mountain. The Coastal Path runs through our land, an hour's walk to CRICCIETH in one direction or to the other direction, BORTH Y GEST, PORTHMADOG & PORTMEIRION.

Three bedrooms sleeps FOUR. ONE DOUBLE ,TWO SINGLE. PLEASE NOTE 2 single beds suitable for children/teenagers. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY FOUR.

Fully equipped kitchen with fridge /freezer, microwave, full size gas cooker with four hobs.Electric kettle & toaster. Gas combi boiler provides instant hot water in separate shower room with hand sink & toilet with another hand sink. Gas Central Heating from combi boiler & Double Glazed.

Morfa Bychan, which boasts a pub and a small supermarket is a 35 minute walk away. The harbour town of Porthmadog with restaurants, shops and the famous Ffestiniog Railway is around 10 minutes drive away. We are an excellent base from which to tour the magnificent Snowdonia National Park and the Llyn Peninsula.Our property is next door and we are happy to help with any queries.

We aim to be home to welcome you and to say goodbye. We are available if you need ideas for walks and visits, but otherwise will let you get on and enjoy your stay.

What a view

A lovely caravan in a perfect setting especially if you are walking. The coast path goes from the end of the drive. Spacious and well appointed, everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Great location with a beautiful view

A great ‘home from home’, perfect for our dogs and us, with a beautiful view in a location ideal for easy access to an awesome beach. We had a fantastic stay and are already planning when we can next get back there.

Beautiful views and spotlessly clean!

Spotlessly clean caravan with the most fantastic views! The caravan was located a 10 minute walk from the beach which was perfect for us and only a 10 minute drive from Porthmadog. It was well equipped with everything we needed during our stay and we’ll definitely be back soon!

Lovely quiet Stay

Our second year, as we loved it so much last year! Lovely caravan on a quiet farm the only noise is the sheep Baaing. The caravan is clean, comfortable, delightful accommodation. Twm and Rhian put milk in the fridge when you arrive. Plenty of leaflets in the caravan as well as maps about the surrounding areas. There are lots of things to do locally as there is Portmerion and the railways. Thanks again for the fantastic stay. The Poulston Family

Peaceful

A nicely located caravan with outstanding views

The caravan is well located close to Black Rock sands, where you can watch the sunset across the bay and silhouette the castle at Criccieth. It is easy to get to Porthmadog via a wide two lane road and through a narrow lane onto the main road leading to Criccieth. The view out of the front of the caravan is simply stunning. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and the caravan was neat, clean and tidy. It is well appointed with everything you would expect including a microwave. The heating is very effective via a gas fired central heating. We had a lovely stay.

brilliant relaxing something for all the family

clean, comfortable, delightful accommodation. stayed with our family of 5 and the dog , loved the area veiws and the owners. milk in the fridge when you arrive plenty of information given about the area just ideal for our stay will be returning next year and we all loved the lambs thank you

Wonderful View from Caravan

We had a wonderful time staying at the caravan, and our son loved being able to assist in feeding the lambs. The view from the caravan was fantastic, overlooking the fields, belonging to the farm and seeing the sheep and lambs. It makes a change to be able to look out from a caravan and not see another caravan. Our son loved the location as we were close to a number of railways. Although we didn't use the beach (due to the weather), we were only a short distance away from Blackrock Sands.

Lovely caravan in a beautiful part of North Wales with great view.

Comfortable caravan five minutes walk from the magnificent beach . We explored the Snowdonia area which is beautiful and there are so many different types of things to do from steam trains to fantastic walks and beaches . All in all very comfortable caravan and would highly recommend the holiday many thanks.

Stunning location. Lovely hosts

Just enjoyed a relaxing week. Both Rhian and Twm are wonderful hosts. My boys enjoyed feeding the sheep ( Thankyou Twm ). Views from the caravan are stunning. Caravan was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Thankyou for such a warm welcome Rhian and Twm.

Naturnah

Großzügiger Wohnwagen, sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr nette Vermieter, Nähe zum Strand - wir haben mit 4 Personen den Urlaub sehr genossen und von hier aus Ausflüge u.a. zum Snowden und bis nach Conwy unternommen. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr weiter empfehlen.

very nice location

We stayed for one week with our son (18 month). The location was really awesome. Beach so close, the lively town of Porthmadog also but nevertheless so silent and peaceful. And the landlords were very friendly and helpful, we had some nice conversations and felt really welcome. And our son had the chance to see sheeps getting shaved. So it was a real great week in this lovely piece of earth.

Clean and warm caravan

The caravan overall was very clean and well presented. The hot water was not hot enough (in my opinion) to wash up in but I do like really hot water. Unfortunately, my holiday was clouded because I was not well and had to cut short our stay. The views are to die for, the TV reception is very good. We did not have a signal on our mobiles (EE). The seating was comfortable. The beds were comfortable too. All in all, we would have enjoyed our holiday had I not been ill. The lambs were lovely playing and running after Mum. The owners were very helpful.

Amazing place

We had a brilliant few days stay at this place. The views are amazing, the beach is not too far down the road, the caravan is very clean and was nice and warm with the central heating. Rhian welcomed us warmly and was very helpful. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Fantastic few days

The directions given to us prior to our arrival made it much easier to find the caravan. On our arrival we found the caravan to be very clean and spacious, with a fantastic view. The beds were nicely made and comfortable, with the heating very easy to sort out and kept the caravan warm very quickly. We also took our well behaved dog us. It's a short walk to the beach and drive to Porthmadog with plenty to do. We had a fantasic time, thanks for letting us stay.

Wonderful hosts and very scenic location!

Rhian was a terrific host, the caravan was tidy and well equipped with all the kitchen essentials. Despite being busy with the lambing season she was always there to help and advise above and beyond. She was kind enough to allow us to watch the lambing process too. The property is next door to the farm house and is surrounded by farm land with plenty of sheep. The views from the sitting room are spectacular and it's not far from the town centre which has shops and supermarkets. I would recommend this caravan property to all who want to visit North Wales.
