MadeiraCasa - Country cottage with stunning views and privacy

This spacious family house offers a peaceful and secluded retreat without being remote and inaccessible. On the edge of a quaint village, this villa sits on the "Levada de Cima" and overlooks surf-crashing seascapes and rocky mountain vistas.
Madeira Casa has been fully renovated. Our house is equipped with all modern facilities. With an open-plan layout, the villa is spacious and offers maximum natural light, it also offers a furnished patio overlooking the sea. The brand new kitchen has all you need to cook up a feast -> ceramic cooking plates (4), oven, microwave, fridge , freezer and of course a dishwasher. If you don't feel like cooking there are If you don't feel like cooking there are quite a few restaurants only 5 minutes drive from the house.

Absolute paradise

This place is a fairy tale. The view is stunning. House has everything you need , it's clean and beautiful. We will definitely come back to this place next time because we felt in love with this majestic island. Thank you Maja for being a great host.

Grossartige Aussicht, wunderbare Lage, Idylle

Wir waren zu zweit im April 2024 eine Woche im Madeira Casa und hatten sehr sehr schöne Ferien. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war einwandfrei, wir haben auch vor dem Urlaub telefoniert. Wegen einer Strassensperrung war die Anfahrt etwas anders wie besprochen, aber es war lösbar. Man kann nicht bis zum Haus fahren, entweder 160 Stufen vom PP oder geradeaus der Levada entlang etwa 200m von einer anderen PP Möglichkeit (hier Hunde unterwegs). Wir fanden das schön, es bedeutet NULL Autolärm ums Haus, keine Leute, Hundebellen nur weit entfernt, ein paar Ziegen, sehr idyllisch, natürlich. Das Haus selbst ist gut eingerichtet, hat alles was man braucht, die Betten sind ausserordentlich bequem. Kaffemaschine/Filter im Haus, wir hatten unsere eigene Maschine dabei. Die Aussicht ist phänomenal, eigentlich bei jeden Wetter. Es ist die allerschönste Region, um auf Madeira zu wohnen (unsere Meinung). Ruhig. Sicht aufs Meer, die Berge, die Steilküste und das hübsche Dorf Boaventura. Man kommt überall schnell hin, auch in den Süden durch das Tunnel. Es hat nur zwei Liegestühle für draussen, was wir schwierig finden, wenn man mehr als zwei Personen ist, wie sollen alle zusammen bequem auf dem Balkon sein?!

Spektakulär

Ein wunderschönes Domizil in atemberaubender Lage. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt... Casa Madeira ist ideal für Ruhesuchende mit einer Traumaussicht. Die Kommunikation war jederzeit schnell und freundlich. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und hoffen bald wiederzukommen.

Traumhaus

Madeira Casa: Ein wunderschönes Haus in traumhafter Lage in den Hügeln über Boaventura (dem hübschesten Dorf Madeiras) und dem Meer. Wir hatten kurzfristig gebucht, weil unser eigentlich geplanter Wanderurlaub in Schottland nicht hatte stattfinden können und hatten das große Glück im allerschönsten Teil von Madeira zu landen in einem Haus mit einer der besten Aussichten der ganzen Insel. Die Zufahrt zum Haus , wie überhaupt das Autofahren auf Madeira, ist für Flachländer erst einmal eine Herausforderung. Aber mit der Zeit gewöhnt man sich daran und nimmt die steilen Straßen und Haarnadelkurven gelassener. Am Ende der Zufahrt gibt es einen guten Parkplatz und den Rest zum Haus läuft man ein Stückchen an einer gut ausgebauten Levada entlang - entzücken! Die Ruhe und die Weite, die man in Madeira Casa genießen kann, sind wirklich außerordentlich. Man hört nichts außer dem Rauschen der Brandung tief unter dem Haus, dem Zirpen der Grillen und dem Krähen der Hähne (ich glaube Jeder im ländlichen Madeira hat eigene Hühner). Das Haus eignet sich perfekt als Standort um die Nordküste und das zentrale Bergland zu erkunden. auch in den Süden ist es nicht so weit zu fahren, dieser hielt für uns aufgrund der dichten Besiedelung aber wenig Anziehendes bereit. Ansonsten verfügt Madeira aber über atemberaubende Natur und gute Wanderwege - wenn diese nicht, wie leider oftmals bei uns, gerade gesperrt sind. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Mit den Nachbarn hätten wir uns soooo gerne unterhalten, aber leider spricht Niemand von uns Portugiesisch. so blieb es denn bei freundlichem Lächeln und Winken und einem netten "Ola". Wer ein ruhiges Domizil mit guter Ausstattung in bester Lage sucht, dem sei Madeira Casa auf das Wärmste empfohlen. Zum Haus gehört auch ein traumhafter Garten und drei Sonnenterassen. Den abendlichen Poncha mit Erdnüssen oder Madeira mit Salzmandeln haben wir auf der Loggia im ersten Stock eingenommen - besser geht´s nicht.

Maison incroyable

Mon mari et moi sommes restés pendant une semaine dans cette casa en février. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. La vue que l'on a depuis la maison est superbe, et l'arrivée à la maison par une "levada" apporte un charme supplémentaire au lieu. La maison était propre et bien décorée, avec beaucoup d'espace pour nous deux. Nous avons eu de la chance avec la météo, ce qui a rendu la vue depuis le salon encore plus jolie. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation! Nous recommandons vivement cette charmante casa portugaise.

Hidden Gem in Boaventura

We stayed here at part of our honeymoon and just loved it! The house is lovely and has everything you need. It is spacious and easy to call home. We particularly appreciated the fabulous postcard-perfect view and the beautiful and private garden. Evenings on the deck with a glass of wine and a book or simply looking at the scenery were so relaxing. We highly recommend MadeiraCasa and hope to be back one day.

MadeiraCasa - Fabulous Views of Coast and Valley

We had a great two week stay at MadeiraCasa and loved the views from the Vila. Did lots of lovely walks in the immediate area and all over this impressive island including tackling the highest peaks. Owner recommended some good places to visit and eat which we appreciated. Really sad to leave this lovely Villa which felt like home from home and hope we will be back again soon.

All the charms of Madeira without the crowds.

Madieira casa completely fulfilled our expectations, which were great after perusing the very lavish website and speaking on the phone to the very courteous and obliging owner Mr De Preter. The house is in a privileged position high up above Boaventura, and the views are breathtaking. It is very quiet but still only a few minutes from other houses, so it does not feel isolated. The fact that you have to walk for 3 or 4 minutes along a leveda to get to it only makes it more charming. Ther are several decent restaurants within a few minutes drive, as well a small but comprehensive supermarket. The level of equpment and furnishing is very high and very tasteful, the bathrooms have lashing of hot water, and the wood burning stove was a great asset in the slightly chilly evenings we had in February. We regarded it as unusually good value at the price we paid and are looking forward to another visit.

Brilliant location

This was our first time to Madeira Island, and as soon as we arrived at madeiracasa, we fell in love with the place and with this part of the island. The views over the mountains and ocean are just amazing. We loved the garden, sitting and watching for hours on end on the patio or the deck upstairs. Peace and tranquility are unique. The house is tastefully decorated, very well equipped. Thanks for letting us stay and for all of the good advice.

Man will nicht mehr weg.

Vom Parkplatz aus schlendert man einen kleinen Wasserlauf entlang und blickt dabei auf das ganze Talpanorama und den Ocean. Nach einigen Obst und Gemüsebeeten windet sich der Pfad um die Ecke. Dort wo der Pfade endet liegt dieses wunderschöne Haus am Hang. Absolute Ruhe. Traumhafte Weite. Perfekt ausgestattet. Auf dieser Terasse möchte ich meine Bücher schreiben. Sie werden die Reise nicht bereuen. Dank der EU-Tunnel ist das Haus nun leicht erreichbar. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für die gesamte Nordküste. Zur Südküste und ganz in den Osten ist es auch nur 30-40 Minuten entspannte Fahrt. Madeira ist fantastisch!!!

Heerlijk verblijf op Madeira

Geweldige plek om Madeira te leren kennen. Het huis ligt op een van de levadas van de Noordkust, levada cima. We zijn allebei verliefd op het uitzicht op zee, bergen, en Boaventura...zonder twijfel een unieke ligging. Ook hadden we hier de rust en privacy die we zochten. Toch centraal gelegen en dicht bij vele bezienswaardigheden. Het huis is heel ruim, en uitgerust voor 6-7 personen, met heel goede bedden. Misschien komen we terug met de kleinkinderen. Alles voor het koken was gelukkig voorhanden, heerlijk om hier te knoeien en te koken met de lokale produkten. We danken jullie nog eens voor de nuttige informatie bij het voorbereiden van onze vakantie.

Beauté, douceur et paix

Maison vraiment très agréable, spacieuse et équipée plus qu’il ne faut. La vue est simplement magnifique – vraiment à couper le souffle. Un vrai bonheur! Le jardin privatif avec table et chaises, BBQ, terrasses nous a conquis. C’est un endroit parfait pour se ressourcer et une base idéale pour partir en randonnées et découvrir l’île. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’attention apportée à la literie. Une voiture est indispensable pour y accéder et visiter l’île. Si nous devions revenir à Madère, nous relouerions MadeiraCasa sans aucune hésitation. D’ailleurs nous avons regretté avoir changé de location pour notre 2ième semaine sur l’île. Nous garderons vraiment un bon souvenir de cette semaine de vacances et de Madère.

Quelle belle découverte

Madère est une destination magnifique tant pour ses paysages que pour ses activités nautiques, sa cuisine et la gentillesse des habitants. La location Boaventura est parfaite en famille (Nous sommes 5) mais peut également convenir à la convivialté requise pour des vacances entre amis. Vue sur l'Océan imprenable, sur la partie sauvage de l'île mais proche des endroits plus touristiques. Pas d'hésitation à avoir donc.

Des vacances juste excellentes

Des vacances excellentes! Après avoir eu du mal à convaincre mes deux enfants de passer pâques à l'étranger, nous avons tout les trois eu le plus grand mal à partir. Le vent surtout nous à beaucoup plu en tant que surfeurs et les températures étaient des plus agréables. La maison située à quelque minutes de la mer nous ont évité les longs déplacements avec notre matériel nous a ravie au point d'avoir du mal à la quitter les matins. J'attends les prochaines vacances la bas avec impatience.

Ein begeisterdes Haus

Es war unser erster Urlaub auf Madeira; und wir müssen sagen, wir sind begeistert. Die Krönung des Aufenthaltes war dabei zweifelsohne das Ferienhaus Madeiracasa, das uns den Besuch der wunderschönen Insel zusätzlich versüßte. Es war der erholsame Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Ausflüge mit dem Leihwagen. Das großzügig ausgebaute Haus liegt in einem der schönsten Teile der Insel. Die Aussicht aus der Höhenlage auf den Ozean ist atemberaubend. Darüberhinaus haben die ausgesprochen freundlichen und zuverlässigen Vermieter das sehr ruhig gelegene Haus komfortabel und gleichzeitig zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Es fehlte uns an nichts; sogar ein Grillplatz auf der Terrasse ist vorhanden. Ein Urlaub in diesem Haus, auch oder gerade gemeinsam mit Freunden, ist auf jedenfall empfehlenswert.

Tolles Haus mit genialem Ausblick

Unsere Zeit in der Madeira Casa war wunderschön. Wir fanden ein Urlaubsdomizil vor, welches keine Wünsche offen ließ. Nachdem wir tagsüber die Schönheit Madeiras genießen durften, kamen wir am Abend gerne "nach Hause" zurück. Ein idealer Ort für Ruhesuchende, im unserer Meinung nach schönsten Teil der Insel, komfortabel und gemütlich, mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und einem spektakulären Blick- Sonnenauf-und Sonnenuntergang inklusive. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war immer freundlich. Fürsorglich wurden wir mit nützlichen Informationen bedacht. Mit ruhigem Gewissen können wir die Madeira Casa weiter empfehlen.

TOP vacances

J'ai passé les vacances de Pâques 2008 à Madère. La villa était simplement TOP. Offrant un calme absolu, à seulement quelques minutes de la mer et de la piscine publique, cette villa est le lieu parfait pour tous les amateurs de la nature et des sports. Club de surf à 10 minutes en voiture, parcours de levada passant devant la maison pour les longues promenades, ... Que demander de plus?

Nos plus agreables vacances en famille

Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, nous avons cru rever tant le paysage et la vue sont imposants et à couper le souffle! La maison est très agréable et chaleureuse. Nous n'avons eu aucune mauvaise surprise durant notre séjour: Cette ile est simplement paradisiaque et l'on ne s'ennuie pas un seul jour (les promenades le long des levadas; Funchal; le musée volcanique de Sao Vicente, les belles plages naturelles de Seixal, ...). Nous reviendrons certainement à Madère et dans cette maison.
