Just a great vacation !

We have really enjoyed our recent stay at Casale Vignazze. The appartment is located in a quiet area surrounded by agricultural fields. The appartment is really big, clean and has just been renovated. A big terrace can be entered from the kitchen. There are nice beaches nearby and beautiful villages like Ragusa or Modica for sightseeing. Fabrizio and Natalia were very friendly and gave very good tips for restaurants and nice places. If you are a family or group who like to relax in a silent place away from touristic areas and you like to endeavour sicilian way of life and great food, Casale Vignazze is the place to go and stay for vacation! We have loved it!

Una fantastica ospitalità per una fantastica vacanza in uno splendido angolo di Sicilia

Non sapremmo da dove cominciare ad elencare una serie di commenti decisamente positivi per la nostra vacanza a Casale Vignazze. - Casale bellissimo, ristrutturato con sapienza dai proprietari, ideale per il nostro gruppo di 8 persone a cui si è aggiunta, previo accordo, un'altra persona sistemata adeguatamente nella struttura. Comodissimi i 4 bagni, la presenza della lavatrice e la moderna cucina, dotata anche di lavastoviglie. Bello ritrovarci tutti insieme nel cortile all'esterno della cucina per la colazione. - Notevole la disponibilità, l'accoglienza e la cordialità dei proprietari (Carolina nei primi giorni, e suo padre Francesco nei successivi) che ci hanno anche fornito preziose indicazioni per visitare le bellissime spiagge della zona, e le località ed i luoghi di interesse storico ed artistico di cui l'area è molto ricca. Nel grande atrio all'ingresso della casa è stato reso disponibile del materiale divulgativo per scegliere le mete da visitare, inclusi, per gli appassionati, i luoghi degli episodi del commissario Montalbano. - Il casale, situato nella campagna nei pressi di Punta Secca, è in posizione strategica per raggiungere facilmente e rapidamente le belle e numerose spiagge della costa tra Scoglitti ed i dintorni di Pozzallo. Un giorno siamo arrivati fino alla spiaggia della riserva di Vendicari ed al caratteristico villaggio di Marzamemi, presso Pachino. - Posizione strategica anche per visitare, con un tragitto di 20, massimo 30 minuti, il castello di Donnafugata e le caratteristiche città di Ragusa, Modica e Scicli, dove ci recavamo nel tardo pomeriggio per cogliere la particolare suggestività di quel momento della giornata. Tutto bellissimo!!!!!!

Assolutamente fantastica!

La villa è bellissima e perfetta per 8 persone e si trova in uno dei posti più incantevoli della Sicilia. L'ospitalità di Natalia e Carolina poi superlativa come i loro preziosissimi consigli sui luoghi da visitare. La presenza di una piscina e di una doccia esterna renderebbero la villa ancora più esclusiva ... Sicuramente da consigliare!

Great villa

We were a group of 5 friends and had an amazing week-end at the villa. The location is great, close to the beach. It is very quiet and the hosts were really kind and helpful!

Comfort, gentilezza e un progetto da proseguire

Casale Vignazze si presenta esattamente come da foto e da descrizione: costruito interamente in pietra a fine ‘800 e ristrutturato nel 2015 dista 700 metri da una spiaggia che si raggiunge uscendo e andando a sinistra sempre dritto fino al mare! Arrivati alla spiaggia vi consiglio di andare sulla sinistra, camminando un pochino si trovano spazi abbastanza liberi anche in pieno agosto. C'è poi poco distante anche la spiaggia di Punta Secca resa famosa dalla fiction del Commissario Montalbano, che sinceramente non consiglio perché molto affollata e da una certa ora in poi negli stabilimenti attaccano la musica a palla. I proprietari soggiornano nello stesso complesso ma, a parte la loro assoluta discrezione, l'alloggio è fatto in modo da essere praticamente isolati e indipendenti. Noi abbiamo conosciuto Carolina e il fratello Fabrizio che sono stati disponibili a fornirci qualsiasi informazione. Abbiamo soggiornato qui dal 16 al 26 agosto in cinque e alloggiato in 4 camere da letto matrimoniali fornite di bagno interno, tranne una il cui bagno era ubicato in un disimpegno, a pochi passi dalla camera stessa. La casa si presentava nuovissima e arredata con gusto e si capisce che ci sono molte potenzialità da sviluppare per fare di questo luogo un'eccellenza dell'ospitalità (magari pensare anche ad una piscina?!). Altri spazi all'interno del casale: un grazioso salottino con camino e un piccolo quinto bagno adibito a comodissima lavanderia! Una camera da letto è al primo piano ed è la più spaziosa, le altre sono al piano terra, una è stata attrezzata con divano letto che è risultato piuttosto scomodo alla lunga e quindi suggerisco di migliorare questa situazione. Tutti gli spazi sono forniti di aria condizionata ma la casa è mediamente fresca. Casale Vignazze si trova in posizione strategica rispetto alle bellezze del ragusano, la cui campagna è già di per sé un'attrazione. Sicuramente vale la pena visitare Scicli, Modica, Ragusa Ibla. Altre spiagge che consiglio: quella di Donnalucata, scendendo verso il mare non a Plaja Grande ma verso Contrada Filippa, Strada Provinciale 64 - Donnalucata/Cava D'Aliga. Qui troverete il bar Aziz, posteggiate e proseguite un poco a sinistra per la spiaggia libera. Poi suggerisco la spiaggia Riserva Naturale Cava di Randello, una lunga striscia di sabbia e dune chiusa in un’ampia insenatura tra Punta Braccetto e Scoglitti, protetta da una vasta pineta piena di panche, tavoli e fontanelle, ottimi per un pic-nic!

WONDERFUL VILLA AT CHARMING PUNTA SECCA-

Unexpectedly, our group of 8 people became only 2. Therefore we had the luxury of more house than we needed . It is a fabulous property. This is a historical farmhouse and you may get chance to see the restored grape treading and wine making room - ideal for a wedding ! The home is now a mix of functional modern and some original rooms tastefully restored, It has a great feel throughout and there are a selection of outdoor areas to suit different parts of the day. The feel of the house is serene. It is far enough away from things to feel peace and privacy without being isolated. The communication and help from the hostess's was exceptional. They did everything and more to ensure we had a safe welcoming arrival, and a personal handwritten guide of all places of interest in the area. Someone was always in contact if needed. The beach is about a 600 meter walk or a quick drive. Punta Secca was lovely and friendly and almost exclusively filled with Sicilian and Italian families on holiday. Our sight seeing in the area was less than a 45 minute drive to each of the 4 different places. They were all unique and special. Scicili is worth a special mention because it remains largely undiscovered by tourism. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Osteria tre Colli. An Italian friend helped make the booking and the description might clarify the following already, but we were under the impression that there were 4 ensuite rooms that were of equal stature. The room we stayed in was far superior to the others (the other rooms were lovely, just not equal this is not a criticism just a heads up for say four couples) We highly recommend the property, and had a wonderful stay. We would tell anyone going to this area to stay here.

un 25 aprile tra storia e natura...

Grazie Carolina sei una host fantastica, abbiamo trascorso tre giorni meravigliosi in un posto magico dove ogni cosa ti fa sentire parte dei luoghi nel contesto di un autentico frantoio ma con tutte le comodità ed i confort "del nostro tempo", stanze comodissime e luminose. Abbiamo potuto fare sport su una interminabile spiaggia e visitare le tante città d'arte vicine e....fortuna abbiamo incontrato anche il Commissario Montalbano!!.... Tutto questo in soli tre giorni... Che bello! Grazie

Me and my family of origin, Natalia, Francesco and Fabrizio live and work in Palermo, but we often go to Punta Secca because we personally welcome our guests and we run the farm located in the same ground where we produce Vegetables in greenhouse.

What makes this property unique

Despite being close to the sea and the beautiful beach of Punta Secca, the house is immersed in a large land outside the village, so relax and silence are guaranteed in all seasons.
Looking out of the windows you will only see garden.
The location is also strategic to visit the historical and natural beauties in the area.
