Charming air-conditioned Provençal villa with heated pool and hot-tub

In Vence, charm and culture have inspired many painters and artists: Matisse, Chagall, Armand ... His soul is reflected in its historic town with its medieval streets and ramparts of the 13th century. Baous constitute an extraordinary landscape and proximity to the sea makes it a good choice for holiday.
"Villa Maeva" is a Provencal property located at the entrance of Vence in an easy access impasse.
A shaded driveway can park 3 cars. An outdoor car park welcomes visitors.
The garden is composed of olive trees, shaded trellises, with Mediterranean trees, yuccas and mulberry trees.
Ideal for family holidays, its vast pool / spa Secure is embellished with stone beaches and sun, plus a large summer kitchen true living space.
Both kitchens are fully equipped. The interior is nicely decorated with colorful furniture.
You have several intimate separate spaces around the house. The environment is residential and quiet without being isolated. The center of Vence and its shops are two kilometers away.

Wunderschön

Es war sehr schön, wir durften das charmante, gräumige provenzalische Haus geniessen. Der Pool und die überdachte Terrasse sind das Highlight! Das separate Studio und die Aussenküche sind einfach super! Es ist nicht alles topmodern, aber genau dies macht den Charme im Süden aus. Tolle Momente am und im Schwimmbad und beim Tischtennis gehabt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und unkompliziert und haben bei Nachfragen superschnell reagiert Die Lage ist für Ausflüge perfekt, alles ist super erreichbar. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir komme sehr gerne wieder!

Family holiday

A spacious set up with good living accommodation. The house is a bit tired and could do with some upgrades especially in the separate room outside. The pool was great as was the outdoor area the hosts were very helpful when issues arose.

Séjour très agréable

Excellent séjour dans cette superbe villa au charme provençal. Très bien aménagée avec une très belle piscine et jeux pour petits et grands (babyfoot, ping-pong, balançoire, pétanques...) La cuisine d'été est très agréable et le quartier est calme et résidentiel. Vous y passerez un agréable séjour.

Absolutely beautiful

First of all, the property manager was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The property was clean and beautiful as listed on the website. It is in a quiet neighbourhood. Even though we made alot of noise it was contained in the house. Please be aware you need a car to move around. There is a cafeteria very close by. Absolutely divine. We checked in and out very late due to flights delays and the landlords were very nice to let us stay. Thanks Mr & Mrs Maufre.

Villa Maufre

Grundsätzlich ist dieses Haus echt schön und es sieht auch fast genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Es ist jedoch unserer Meinung nach mittlerweile etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Wir haben Schimmel im Haus entdeckt. Im Außenbereich sind die Fugen am Boden teils so dolle ausgewaschen, dass man selbst mit Schuhen ständig an den scharfen Fliesenkanten hängen bleibt. Am Poolrand ist das mit nackten Füßen nochmal gefährlicher. Am Pool selbst war am Rand eine Fliese weggebrochen. Das Reststück war, wie wir feststellen mussten, auch locker und scharfkantig. Die Ansaugung im Whirlpool ist nicht abgedeckt. Das ist sehr gefährlich, wenn man da unbewusst drauf kommt. Das schlimmste war allerdings, dass die Schaukel nicht befestigt ist. Mein Sohn ist mit der leichtesten Person von uns geschaukelt. Sie hat sich mit ihm auf dem Schoß nur mal kurz in die Schaukel gesetzt und etwas Schwung geholt. Da ist das gesamte Gerüst fast nach vorne gekippt, weil es keine Verankerung mit dem Boden gibt. Der Besitzer selbst war sehr nett und sehr zuvorkommend. Unglücklicherweise lief aber alles nicht so rund. Wir hatten für den Check-in eine Uhrzeit vereinbart. Er hat uns 20 Minuten vorher gesagt, dass es eine Stunde später wird. Wir sind allerdings 15 Stunden angereist und waren mehr als überpünktlich dort. Als wir dann endlich ins Haus durften, mussten wir feststellen, dass der Pool nicht sauber war und die im Inserat angebotenen Handtücher nicht gewaschen waren. Weder die Handtücher für im Haus noch die Strandtücher. Das tat ihm alles sehr leid. Den Pool hat er tagsdrauf auch gereinigt, um die Handtücher mussten wir uns aber selbst kümmern. Auch bei der Abreise, kam er nicht zur vereinbarten Zeit. Er schrieb uns, dass er es nicht schafft und wir gerne fahren können. Trotz alledem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Urlaub. Wir haben ihn sehr genossen.

Séjour très agréable

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la villa Maeva, très bien située (à proximité de jolis villages typiques et assez proche des plages) et dans un environnement calme. La villa est très bien équipée et offre de beaux espaces extérieurs, tel que le jardin et la cuisine d'été où nous avons pu profiter de très agréables moments. Bon accueil et échanges fluides avec le propriétaire. Nous recommandons vivement cette maison provençale.

Spacieuse villa bien équipée

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans votre villa qui est bien agencée et bien équipée. Elle est située a 3km de Vence, a 15 minutes de Villeneuve Loubet de et de cagnes. La piscine est profonde et ensoleillée, la cuisine d'été est très appréciable ainsi que le terrain de pétanque et la table de Ping Pong. Le jacuzzi est à 30 degrés mais ne fait pas de remous, juste de petits jets. Attention beaucoup de moustiques le soir mais le propriétaire a prévu les spray et diffuseurs ce qui nous a permis de limiter les attaques. Le studio est idéal pour les ados ou une deuxième famille car autonome (douche et toilettes).

Vacances agréables en famille !

Très bon séjour, maison spacieuse et provençale magnifique. De grands espaces extérieurs avec une très belle piscine que les enfants ont apprécié ! Les baignoires sont plutôt agréables pour des bons bains. Le climat est favorable, la terrasse offre une vue exceptionnelle sur tout les côtes du ciel. Ce qui était plutôt pratique pour voir la pluie des étoiles de la nuit dernière. Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour, les enfants repartent avec le sourire !

Schönes Haus mit großem Pool

Modernes Haus mit großem, beheiztem Pool, Boule-Platz und vielen Plätzen, um draußen zu sitzen. Auto erforderlich, dann viele Ausflugsziele im Umkreis von 30 Minuten. Sehr nette Gastgeber.

Un superbe séjour

Nous avons passé 15 jours en août 2021 dans la villa Maeva et nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. La maison est très bien équipée (tout y est, du linge de maison à la trousse de secours!). L’extérieur correspond tout à fait à la description de l’annonce. Tout est clôturé, la piscine est magnifique et sécurisée (la température de l’eau aurait mérité quelques degrés de plus tout de même). Le quartier est résidentiel et très calme malgré la proximité des voisins (il y’a tellement de végétations qu’on se sent presque seul). Bref, petits et grands ont passé de très bonnes vacances à la villa Maeva. Je recommande pour un séjour en famille avec des enfants!

Villa provençale de charme pour séjour enchanteur

Excellentes vacances

La Villa Maeva propose des prestations haut de gamme et surtout des détails qui font la différence. Le charme provençal reste intact, la décoration y contribue beaucoup. Tous les accessoires sont fonctionnels, l'emplacement, la possibilité d'héberger un couple à part sont des véritables atouts. Mme et M Maufre sont très disponibles et proposent des conseils avisés pour les touristes. Une seule envie pour résumer, y retourner !

Une superbe villa

Nous sommes parti entre famille et amis 5 adultes et 6 enfants de bas âges et nous avons beaucoup apprécié. La villa est magnifique avec un espace extérieur sécurisé les enfants ont pu profité et nous également. La villa est bien situé pas trop loin de la mer et dans un quartier très calme. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et disponible si il y a besoin. Nous recommandons cette villa et espérons avoir l'occasion d'y retourner

Maison tres agreable, bien equipee et idealement situee

La maison se trouve dans une impasse tres calme, elle est spacieuse, tres propre et bien equipee. Pour vous divertir en dehors de la piscine, il y a un baby foot, une table de ping-pong, un terrain de boules et des jeux de societe. Situation parfait pour rayonner dans la region. Entree et sortie facile, proprietaires sympathiques et discrets.

Excellent séjour en famille

Nous avons passé 3 semaines dans la villa Maeva, en juillet 2020. Mon mari et moi même avons loué la villa (nous avons 3 enfants, 11, 10 et 2 ans) et nous avons reçu successivement la visite de mes beaux-parents, de ma soeur et de ma belle-soeur accompagnées de leurs familles respectives (enfants entre 7 et 12 ans). Premières impressions à l'arrivée: grande propreté, villa extrêmement bien entretenue (l'extérieur vient d'être rénové). La villa est parfaite pour un séjour en famille, avec de nombreuses activités pour les enfants (babyfoot, ping pong, jeux de société...) et la grande piscine sécurisée. Son agencement en terme de chambres était parfait pour nous: nous avons pris avec mon mari la suite parentale du RDC, les enfants étaient à l'étage dans 2 chambres avec Sdb et WC, et nos visiteurs (beaux parents, ma soeur et son mari, ma belle-soeur) dans le studio extérieur. La cuisine intérieure est très bien équipée. La villa est agréable même en cas de forte chaleur, étant climatisée et le jardin offrant de la fraîcheur avec de l'ombre. La piscine et le jacuzzi sont également en partie à l'ombre le matin et en fin d'après-midi. La piscine étant légèrement chauffée, la température y est vraiment idéale, y compris avec un enfant en bas âge. Les propriétaires sont restés facilement joignables et très réactifs quand nous avions une question ou un problème à résoudre. La piscine est nettoyée chaque semaine. Enfin, la localisation de la villa est idéale: située sur un chemin dans un coin calme, mais à proximité des commerces (grand Leclerc et Polygone Riviera à 5 min en voiture) avec de jolis visites à moins de 10/15 min (Vence, Saint Paul de Vence, Tourrettes-sur-Loup). Bref, un séjour parfait en tous points! Nous reviendrons certainement à la villa Maeva.

Lovely traditional French house.

This property offered plenty of outdoor activities for children and adults, including swimming pool, hot tub, swings, table tennis, table football and pétanque area. The outdoor dining area and kitchen were a great asset. You require a car to stay here as it is a long way from the town, uphill! It is a very pretty area, we particularly liked Vence St Paul. One of the double bedrooms was an outdoor studio which suited our circumstances but may prove a problem for some families if they want to be under the same roof. All our needs were provided for by the owners who left the necessities, bin bags, foil, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc. We made use of the local supermarket, again a car ride away. The local bakery just a short walk away sold delicious bread and croissants. We would return to this property again.

Beautiful villa and so well situated!

This villa offers you everything for your vacation! Nice rooms, good beds, tables + chairs both indoors and outdoors + pool. And when you want to explore the neighborhood, it is just 3 km to Vence, about 5 km to St-Paul-de-Vence and 20 km to Nizza. You are in the middle of beauty, history and good food!

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage

Wunderbar!

Wunderbare Ferien konnten wir verbringen, wir kommen gerne wieder! Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und sofort zur Stelle wenn wir was fragten. Das Haus ist komplett eingezäunt so dass wir auch unseren Hund frei laufen lassen konnten, was ausserdem zur Entspannung beigetragen hat. Erwähnenswert finde ich noch, dass das 4. Schlafzimmer separat in dem kleinen Häuschen ist. Unsere Tochter (13) fand es cool, separat zu wohnen, mit eigenem Badezimmer. Für Familien mit kleineren Kindern ist aber diese Info vielleicht noch wichtig. Das Haus liegt herrlich ruhig.
