Welcome to our home. This incredible location is just steps to the beach with conveniences like Starbucks, groceries and restaurants just a few steps away. Our contemporary San Diego beach house is located just a few blocks off the historic 101 Pacific Coast Highway which runs parallel to the ocean. We strive to make our house feel like a home away from home.
Total relaxation or activities await. The community includes a recreation area with an outdoor swimming pool, large enough for swimming laps, hot tub, tennis courts, and basketball and volleyball courts. It is just a short walk to the beach for boogie boarding, surfing or just relaxing. There is a quaint shopping village near the house with a Starbucks, Ralph's grocery store, pharmacy, Cafe, Pick Up Sticks, Sushi, Benihana, Subway and other conveniences.
Our home features a deluxe TV package with 3 televisions, high-speed internet, free WI-fi, and a whole house water filtration system with an additional reverse osmosis system for the best tasting drinking water you'll find anywhere. The house is rented fully furnished with linens & towels, a fully equipped kitchen including pots & pans, utensils etc. There is a tastefully decorated large Master suite with a deep circular tub in the upgraded dual sink master bath. Two other bedrooms (one upper, one lower) have queen beds. The loft area has a sofa that converts to two twin bed and board-games for family entertainment. The double car garage has toys for the beach and pool, along with a wagon for carrying the supplied boogie boards and fins to the beach.

Activities in the local area include: For kids: Legoland (5 mins), Sea World (30 mins), San Diego Zoo and Safari Park (Wild Animal Park), Disneyland (45 mins). Other local attractions include: the Carlsbad Flower fields (in season), Balboa park (20 mins) and its 20 museums. Shoppers will enjoy the Carlsbad Premium Outlet Mall (5 mins), Westfield UTC and Fashion Valley malls. For sight seeing, there are the mansions of La Jolla (called the Beverly Hills of San Diego and Rancho Santa Fe (part-time home to Phil Mickelson, Madonna and Elton John) with its unique combination of estates, rolling hills, horse trails and golf courses, Mission Beach with large picnic areas and a bay for small watercraft, paddle boarding,etc. Head south to San Diego to tour historic Old Town with lots of authentic, delicious Mexican food, cultural interest -music, dancing, shopping. A few miles further south, near downtown are the communities of Hillcrest, the Gas Lamp district, the famous Hotel Del Coronado. From the downtown San Diego harbor you can take a Harbor cruise, and many more activities. North 90 mins takes you to LA and all of its attractions – great for day trips. LA attractions include: Staples Center, The Grove shopping area, Santa Monica 3rd street promenade, Kodak Theater, Hollywood walk of fame, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, restaurants of every cuisine type, etc. Also, great day trip is Balboa Island, about 60 minute drive north. Quaint beach communities along the way on the historic 101 all have charming stops. Communities include Laguna Beach, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Venice Beach among others.
